This Is My First Time Writing Abt A Baby Be Kind - Tumblr Posts

So I saw the ask with the nerd oc and bully jk aaaand could you maybe write about their baby? Just a short scenario 😊

All nine months led up to this moment, the moment where Jungkook finally got to see what you and him look fused together. It rather looks alien when he watches his babygirl in her crib, asleep in the late hours of the night. He can't stop staring—she really does look alien. It makes him chuckle how ugly yet cute she looks while drooling. Her audible soft breaths fill his heart with warmth.

They lucked out; Eun, as they named her, is a rather quiet one. She cries occasionally, but mostly just mumbles incoherently the way babies do when they're fascinated by something. She finds Jungkook fascinating when she's awake, always peering up at him in your arms when you're giving her the tenth house tour because you're also fascinated. Having a child feels alien as well, but you can't get enough of her. Jungkook has to steal her from you to spend time with her himself. They usually have to hang out at night, though.

He doesn't feel sleepy. There's something so intriguing about Eun's ugly baby face that can't wipe the awestruck smile off of his face. God, she's adorable with her little hands sprawled out in the crib, her tiny feet occasionally twitching in her sleep. He can't get enough of her either.

Besides, what if someone steals her when they're asleep? He has to keep his guard up.

"Boo."

It is cruel to burst Jungkook's bubble of silence in the dead of the night, and he jumps in his seat before turning to you with wide eyes and quickly holds up a finger to his mouth to demand the same silence. You chuckle through your nose as he slowly gets up, tiptoeing his way to you without taking his eyes off of Eun until he's out of the nursery. He quietly clicks the door shut and scolds you, "You're a creep, you know that?"

"I was thirsty," you defend with a small laugh. "And the door was open, so I decided to check on her. Not to mention you keep leaving the light on in the hall!"

He glances at the door worriedly before scolding you again, "Quiet. You're going to wake her."

"She's a heavy sleeper."

Despite your reasoning, he pulls you into the master bedroom by tugging on your robe anyway. You allow him while stifling your giggles. He's so protective, yet so shy about his "dad feelings".

"Do I have to read you to sleep as well?" he jokes as he pushes you onto the bed, now towering over you with his arms crossed and a suppressed smile.

This reminds you: "If you came to bed, you wouldn't have to."

"Are you jealous?" is his instant rebuttal. "Gee, fuck me for wanting to spend time with our daughter. Maybe if you didn't spend all your time with her..."

"Are you jealous?" you grin and lean on your palms to look up at him. Your nightgown peeks under your matching robe.

"Of your ability to hold her? Yes."

You burst out laughing at his lighthearted joke. "I offered to teach," you roll your eyes with a bright smile, "it's not my fault you're a coward."

There's also the fact that Jungkook is rather scared of carrying Eun, because: "Excuse me for not wanting to drop her and give her a concussion!"

"What are you lifting weights for if you're not going to carry your three kilo baby?"

"Is this the mother glow? Looking all pretty but being such a bully?"

The banter is cut short when you giggle with a blush. Every reminder of your motherhood warms your skin with joy. It has its downsides, and you do experience anxiety when considering how clueless you are when it comes to parenting despite the months of research you'd done, but creating a family with Jungkook outweighs the downsides with the contentment it brings you.

But it also means a lot to you when Jungkook compliments you. You were extremely insecure for some time throughout your pregnancy, and you still are because of your new scars and marks, but your husband makes up for it with his doting behavior.

"Oh no," he widens his eyes to himself in feigned terror, indicating another incoming jab at you. "I called you pretty; are you going to start crying and fight with me again?"

"Oh my God, shut up, I did not fight with you," you laugh despite your argument. So maybe you did get a little crazy a month before Eun was due, what with all the nearing date and all, but you weren't that emotional... you think.

"I seem to recall you accusing me of saying the opposite of what I thought and then pushing me until you threatened me with a spatula," he pretends to think as he hums, looking up at the ceiling when the memories flood in. "Maybe my hormones made me hallucinate that, you never know."

His teasing prompts you to crawl into your bed to hide your embarrassment. The blanket is heavy on your body when you snuggle under it and hold it over your mouth. You said and did a lot of things during that trimester that you aren't very proud of right now, and it doesn't help that he's bringing it up just two months after it happened. At least he was patient with you when it happened. You had started crying the moment he called you beautiful and well, who would believe him when you had just finished your second batch of cookies?

"Sorry, sorry," he says, but you can hear the smile on his face as he joins you under the comforter. "Forgot I have to deal with the mother hormones now."

"If it's such a bother, you can go and stare at Eun some more," you bite back, petty yet hoping he'd stay this time. He always comes when you're already asleep.

The pull of your smaller frame against his chest makes you sigh in relief. He's staying– and hurray, you're not heavy enough for him to be unable to pull you! "I'll stay," he exhales and cuddles you with his chin resting on your head. You can hear the comfort and relaxation in his voice—it's endearing and reassuring. He continues, "if you at least let me have the morning with her."

"And deny you of changing her diaper? Never."
