The illustration is an aged up redraw of the cover page from a Nintendo magazine that came out in the 90s: "Adventures of the Super Mario Bros: Bowser Knows Best"

I started drawing this two years ago, but with the sudden illness and death of my six years old cat Merlina, I lost all motivation to draw for about a year and a half. Recently, I had to take some days off job because I was sick, and suddenly found myself returning to this piece and not letting go of it until I saw it finished.

The quality looks a bit wonky in places because my phone is quite old by now, so the camera resolution os not good at all. I might eventually reupload the picture when I have access to a better camera or scanner ♥
