Okay guys, gals and nonbinary pals. How do I speak with humans!?

It's so fucking hard. A girl said "I like your jacket!" and I got so nervous that I just said "Thank you, you look very beautiful!". Like...was it too much? How do you answer when someone compliments you? It feels awkward to just say "thank you", like...shouldn't I say a compliment in return?

Is there any extrovert, who knows what to do!?

Honestly. Real life dialogue and written dialogue is the same to me. In both cases I ask myself "Is this how two living humanbeings interact with each other!?".
