i have an extended headcanon about ronan lynch’s taste in music. i simply refuse the idea that it’s all abrasive edm trash when we have lines like:

like fuck me up that sounds unreal. 

so i’m thinking that it’s actually populated with avant-garde techno and carnal house tracks and all that aggressive, dreamy goodness: genres that ronan is actually a connoisseur of/anorak for, genres with deep historical ties with lgbt+ culture which ronan knows and feels even more at home because of, genres which the gangsey find inaccessible/repetitive/caustic/weird because they’re just not their thing. 

but they’re ronan’s and he likes it that way.
