I'm still struggling if using past or present tense for fanfic drabbles makes more sense to me. Consequently I always feel like editing when rereading them after a day or two

I usually post on a whim because inspiration mostly strikes when I should probably get some sleep.

Using the Tumblr drafts as a brain dump doesn't help organizing any thoughts for coherent story telling.

Maybe I could cross post on AO3? Idk why but AO3 feels intimidating to share on. So many tags. Such a low level of polish to my drabbles.

What if reading other people's works unknowingly led to me writing a very similiar idea?

How does one write a convincing story arc with motives and climax, it's all just feels and moods to me while I'm actually a very clear T person.

Btw really appreciate anyone reading and sharing thoughts on my brainworms THANK YOU hope they're worth your time! Communication on social media is hard lol.

And I was thinking a little too hard about the part where they found out Alteans have Marco-Polo too.

Like, why is that what’s crazy? If I went to space and there were humans with pointed ears, glowy things under their eyes, and magical powers, THATS what would shock me.

How is it that a whole other part of the universe has a planet with similar beings existing on it, and they aren’t related at all?

Also they speak a dialect of English??? HOW DO THEY SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE-

I know it’s just a show, and it’s made for kids, but THIS IS A BRAIN TWISTER FOR ME.

Another thing, how tf did the patriarchy also exist on another part of the universe???

This might be a stretch but-

It’s kinda crazy that the patriarchy also occurred for the Galra, like even though Honerva’s Altean, SHES the one who discovered Quintessence, not Zarkon. (I think)

Maybe it’s because he was a paladin of Voltron and he’s Galran? But even so, Honerva killed the other paladins from what I remember, did she not? (So she asserted dominance LOL)

Also Lotor and most of the Galra called Honerva “The Witch”, they didn’t even call her Haggar, but hey called her a WITCH.

Yes, she does magic, and she’s Altean, but we’re there not other druids too alongside her? They never called them witches.

And even the claim that she’s Altean, I know this is a fault of character, but she’s literally proven her loyalty to Zarkon. She works under him, has been with the Galra for numerous years, hell, SHE EVEN HAD A KID WITH HIM. But I guess they’re so corrupt by the Quintessence that they just forgor!!

Another thing is, there’s mostly men in the Galran army, why is that?

I can count on my hands how many (full) Galran women I’ve seen throughout the show.

This is either that the people behind the scenes didn’t bother to draw women, or that Zarkon purposely chose men to fight for him.

Basically what I’m trying to say is, we don’t pay enough attention to how wild the concept of this show is.

Four random ass teenagers and some dude who got abducted were chosen to be in control of this space super weapon that is supposed to defend the universe from this race of aliens that are all chasing after some sort of a space drug that is essentially made up of LIFE FORCE.

I know I shouldn’t do this but I have a take about the moomin Corp situation, well more so of what is acceptable to spread and what’s not.

IT SHOULD BE OK TO DISTRIBUTE EPISODES OF THE MOOMINS AND CERTAIN FORMS OF MEDIA...

Under these cercimstances!;

The episode is no longer distributed in most areas meaning it’s no longer on air on any tv channels, it’s not easily found/almost lost media or if it’s not on any of the moomins official pages!

Good examples of what you CAN do in my eyes at least : re-posting episodes of the 60s adaptation that was primarily only for Japanese audiences (especially if you make some sort of fan dub or translations for alternate audiences! (You are putting effort and time and ADDING some thing to the pre-existing media that wasn’t there before! Not to mention it’s not some thing that’s being regularly distributed or re-printed! Meaning it could become lost media if not looked after so in my eyes distributing this is a good thing! Or even distributing episodes of the 90s series if it’s from the second season as long as you add some thing to it, such as new dub or sub that wasn’t there because once again moomincorp isn’t distributing it not even on YouTube

(Shortened explanation adding sub or dub to some thing that isn’t outwardly distributed any more that has potential of becoming lost media is OK to do!)

BAD sharing example!: sharing images of comics or media of theres that is mass produced, examples; if the comic is currently being printed such as the Lars jannson or Tove jannson comics DONT TOUCH IT! If it has a translation? DONT TOUCH IT! If it’s re-printing a design that isn’t your and selling it for a profit doNt touch it!

Good example of distribution!:if the comic is out of print and not making said company any money? Go ahead and share! Examples of comics that are no longer distributed/translated(to my knowledge) Finnish children’s magazines with the moomins in it that ended printing in early 2000s feel free to share! And even better? Translate to your hearts content! (There’s actually a creator on tumblr who’s been translating and re-posting the comics she has that is a good form of sharing media so it doesn’t become lost!

In short DONT claim the characters to be yours. (That’s an obvious given) BUT feel free to share fan art, FAN MADE translations, and moomins media that is not being profited off of currently!

I think that’s simple enough and of course don’t go and ask the moomins Corp if there ok with it or not because legally them (and almost any other animation company) has to say no to fan art and fan creations of any sort despite the fact they won’t really take legal action on it

Please keep in mind this is just my view on the subject and how I see it... no hate towards any one and if any one has any takes on it I would love to hear them if there not rude/insulting twords any one.

okay belift what the actual fuck. fate plus literally JUST ended and you're making them go back on tour a month later? they're HUMANS and they got their limits. there's already been some health concerns and it's very VERY evident that those boys need rest. we've been saying this for so long but it's not going to their heads. LET ENHYPEN REST. PLEASE. engenes aren't going to leave them if they don't go on this tour. and not to mention they're already working on another album. they haven't had a proper break basically since debut. i genuinely worry about their well-being especially since multiple members have spoken up about their hardships throughout the tour. belift do better and treat your artists like humans. they're not your robots.

I had a dream where all I did was sit down and watch a film with sans and papyrus and quite honestly when I go to sleep THATS what I'm signing up for.

On the other hand, when I was at the peak of my Jojo era, I had a dream where I got the Jotaro figurine and I put it on my shelf.... THAT'S LITERALLY ALL THE DREAM WAS. THE ENTIRE DREAM WAS PUTTING A FIGURINE ON A SHELF. Woke up knowing it was becoming a problem ahaha
