Here’s a reference for my 2k12 tmnt oc misty! It’s already been posted on my deviant art probably about a year ago and I wanted to post it here too before I post anything else. Get ready to read a long ass biography lolol
Misty was born as a normal gecko in the kraang laboratory along with other different species of reptiles and mammals. The kraang would experiment on these poor creators, sometimes even humans. as an accident, one of the kraang robots tipped over a canister of green ooze, spilling over three little geckos. Unfortunately, two had an unsuccessful mutation, leaving one alive. They didn’t know what to do with it so they put her in a room with another experiment gone ‘wrong’. Luckily for the two small mutants, not even a day later they were found by a curious turtle who heard their cries, and was brought to their new home that same night.
Since misty has more DNA of the gecko, she has the ability to see in the dark and climb walls. She’s also cold-blooded, meaning she has to stay as warm as possible otherwise she’ll get incredibly sick. The turtles worry for her a lot, especially with her carefree attitude. In the winter she’s always wearing layers upon layers just to keep warm. Donnie has installed a heat lamp in her room for the winter and a regular heater for any cold summer nights.
Misty’s family relationship is quite strong and she’s extremely close with her uncles, father and grandfather. Even when everyone has an understanding that Leo has taken her in as his own, the turtles and splinter to her are all her parents/guardians. As for Danny(I’ll post about him later), some would consider the two cousins whilst they identify each other as siblings. They grew up in the care of 5 great people, 7 if you include Casey and April. Family means the world to misty, next to waffles. Waffles are good too.
This is Danny. He grew up with my other oc, misty. This one is not as long I promise lol also apologies for the poor quality, i dont know how to properly save pictures from my computer art program
Daniel had a human mother when he was born, who was mutated by the kraang while she was in the early days of her pregnancy. They kidnapped her and held her until she died by giving birth to him. He came out a mutant, slowly dying. The kraang were sure he wouldn’t survive and place him in a room so he doesn’t get in the way. After Michelangelo found danny and misty, he got Donatello to nurse him back to health.
Danny was raised in a loving and protective environment, so it’s only right of him to grow up the same way. He would put himself in harms way for his family and their priorities always came first. Whatever they needed, he would be there in minutes to help them out. He spends all of his time with any of his uncles or his sibling (misty; kinda explained in her reference sheet)
Daniel is a Komodo dragon mutant with a bit of human DNA. He is incredibly strong and said is a fast grower. his uncles found his strength could go a far as lifting vehicles two times his size and breaking through concrete walls. Danny also has alopecia areata which is a hair loss disease.Due to him being a Komodo dragon also means he’s a carnivore. When doing research, donnie found out that his species will eat anything they can hunt, even if it means their own kind. That worried him so they slowly eased him into a vegetarian diet. Luckily Danny understood when he grew up. Luckily for him being half human, he is able to live normally with this lifestyle and still be completely healthy.

I was playing around with Misty’s outfit designs because I was unhappy with her normal red shirt and black tights. Not gonna lie I’m really into the new look even if she does look like she’s in the foot clan :,D I’m still trying to figure out Danny’s but I’m in love with how this turned out!

This is a tmnt next gen oc I’ve had since 2017, but I’ve never properly drawn her until now! I still haven’t given her a name yet unfortunately. She’s shini’s apprentice so she’s also learning witch craft :) I love her so I hope you all do too <333
Lost Years AU
Casey looking into the crib was inspired by the ending of The Last Ronin. And you've heard of Krangified, well, get ready for Splinterified. I've turned Casey into Splinter because my AU is based on the idea that these baby turtles replace the last generation.
