Hey everyone. I am working on the new part soon! Life has finally fallen a little but more back into a 'normal' for me. So, here are some doodles. To hold onto until then.
I love all random ships (with in health reason.) But I do love Eri and Kogoro. I think even with how things turned out for them. It is a rare thing of ' there is always love there' kind of thing.
Was on a Inuyasha and Detective Conan crossover kick there for a bit.
Of course, got a copy of Hogwarts legacy during my recovery time. So, we got to toss in a good old Wizard Kogoro for good measure.
Test designs? mask test? Or good old doodles. You be the judge :3

Death Note fans! I have a question that I'm hoping you can answer. As a new fan who just binged the whole series, "that one episode" hit me hard and made me want to rage quit the show worse than I've ever wanted to quit something in my life.

Okay, I think that's far enough.
So. After Rem writes Watari's name, shouldn't they already be disappearing? How would they have time to write L's name down? Or is there a rule in the Death Note that I don't remember? It bothers me that Rem was able to write two names before dying themselves. Was it just an act of convenience on the author's part to get L out of the picture to further the plot?
Potential.
Every dead soul was once a living organism. Plants, trees, animals and people in Soul Society were all once alive. Humans in particular were created in such a way that their potential spanned out before them, if only they had the courage and power to grasp it.
Upon death, a human soul can go one of two ways: locking away their rationality, decision-making capacity and ability to say no, stop, enough, for the gain of power, the retention of growth and evolution; or, excising their potential, their ability for growth and power and ability to become more in such a way that allows them to keep their mind and individual thoughts.
According to shinigami, who in many ways don't understand or even know the meaning of potential, this is the difference between a soul that passes on, or a soul that hollowfies.
The true difference in them, is that a "plus" soul or Shinigami has cut out and/or eroded away their power of progress, in a way that is subtle enough not to be noticed; but, in hindsight or from the viewpoint of a foreign intelligent being, is all too clear and unsettling. A Hollow, meanwhile, has changes that are so obvious as to mark them as an entirely different species, even though they aren't; they trade their higher minds - temporarily - to keep the ability to grow and change and evolve to greater strengths and appearances. And the stronger they get, the closer a resemblance they achieve to their original form: the human one. This, after all, is how Vasto Lorde are born, and they are frighteningly similar to humans in so many ways.
Of the two types of soul, Hollows are the ones who, in the end, have the opportunity to truly become "human" again - albeit, without a physical body.
Shinigami, meanwhile, are stuck; their souls find comfort, an equilibrium, and simply stop there. They have a set amount of power, conforming most often in a 100:1 ratio to what they had as humans (and even that only partially accessible without training), and no more than this. By cutting off their growth capacity, so they have limited themselves to remaining as a fraction or less of what they once were, or could have become.
When attempting to create a hybrid, a Vizard, the process was likened by Aizen to knocking down the barriers between Shinigami power and Hollow power. I, however, hold with a... mildly different hypothesis.
I suspect that Aizen may simply have returned to those Shinigami their own potential for growth.
Oh goodness! Thank you very much, that was way more than I expected in response. That’s actually much clearer and relevant to what I’ve been trying to figure out.
Because a lot more in the way of English related stuff on the subject tends to be from teachers which tend to at most seem to be in an apartment complex sort of thing at most.
And no worries, the only issue was on my end trying to figure out the right keywords that got results. xD Even if I could infer what was meant, having the actual Japanese word makes this SO much easy. Thank you again.
If you don't mind me asking, on the last picture you translated of Grell in her pajamas, what was the word you used for "Team dormitory"? I've been fascinated trying to figure out how the shinigami live and that seems like it has a cultural connotation. I've hit a wall with my usual methods but if I had the Japanese word that seems like it's a good keyword I might be able to jump the rest of my research off of. (Also thank you very much for translating that image in general. It's great. xD)

No, I don’t mind at all! The term Yana used was ‘社員寮’ (しゃいんりょう・sha’inryou), which I just quickly translated into ‘team dormitory’. But I think ‘company dormitory’ or ‘employee dormitory’ would have been more accurate

The image on which Yana probably based the Reaper Dispatch Society is probably this ⇊. Usually a relatively large building, either standing on its own, or even actually attached to the office.
Obviously they come with sleeping rooms, often only offering a bed/futon, one desk and a place to store clothing. TVs etc. really would be a luxury.
The more luxurious dormitories would have single rooms, while shabbier ones only provide shared rooms as bad as cramming six people into such a tiny room as the picture above.
Japanese company dormitories usually have a canteen, as is depicted in this ⇊ doodle by Yana herself. Even if there is a canteen, many dormitories also provide a shared kitchen. Those kitchens are usually the more industrial ones, and the majority of the space is occupied by many fridges for the employees to use.
Other shared spaces include a lounge, laundry facilities and bathrooms, of course. Some dormitories come with private bathrooms and toilets (which are more of a luxury), while others have communal washing facilities.

Ok. Ok. This prompt is suitable for the-long-ass-dn-au-fic-from-my-head™ and I must use the situation. Lawlight Week 2020; Day 7: Renewal/Death.
To be really brief, Kira’d been defeated before L’s birth and then he became a shinigami. It was way too boring existence for him in Mu so he was trying to entertain himself by throwing his death note into human world. L was raised as a detective and one day he takes the note away from a criminal who kept it. I won’t tell any more for now.
Explaining Light’s appearence, he’s still a young shinigami so his face and body are in the process of transformation. Since he still looks like a human, he should wear a mask, because his face is ugly and unnatural for shinigami. Yes, the mask contains Catholic symbol, thanks Obata for his style. Also Light’s clothes have elements of Middle Ages Europe and Japan. For reasons.
I’m going to write and draw more about it, since I started talk about it lol.

Summary: L is consumed with his work and hasn’t paid you any attention in the last few hours. You figure it’s well within your right to do whatever possible to get him to focus on you.
“Come on babe,” you beg for the 1200th time. “Take a break for a bit. I miss you.”
L looks over at you from his crouched position — the one he’s always in when he’s working or focused on something. “I took a break earlier; I had some cake. And how can you miss me when I’m sitting right here?”
You poke your tongue into your cheek, trying to hide your laugh as you’re genuinely becoming annoyed and impatient.
“Yeah, smart-mouth ass,” you bark, hands on your hips defensively. “Not only did you eat your cake, but ya’ ate mine too! And you know exactly what I meant by that; I miss you spending time with me and not on this investigation. Sheesh.”
He blinks at you slowly with his big, sleepy, doe eyes. “You said I could eat it. And I’ll spend time with you once I’ve finished for the night.”
You huff out, “Number one: I didn’t think you’d actually eat it — which I should have known better. And number two: that’s what you said the last bazillion times I asked, L.”
“Because I wasn’t finished the last bazillion times you asked,” he replies, eyes fixed back on his computer screen.
You scoff, speechless. You know your boyfriend is an odd one, but you’ve always found it adorable. Sometimes though, there’s this little part of you that wants to choke him to an even paler complexion than he already is.
“Fine,” you hiss, walking up to him to nudge his head childishly. He doesn’t even blink let alone flinch at the push. “I’ll go play by myself — or maybe even with myself.”
“Keep the noise down please,” is all he says as you start to walk back up to your bedroom.
You scoff again, stopping to glare at him before stomping up the stairs, but to no avail. You know you’re being a brat, but you can’t help it. Sometimes L can be cold and detached from you. You understand that it isn’t on purpose and that he cares about you. But every so often you crave a bit more of him than what he’s willing to give.
Lying down, scrolling on your phone, you get an idea in your schemey little mind. You think you know something that might get L to pay you some attention.
You come out of your pajamas, only in your hello kitty slippers now. Confidently, you stride back downstairs and into the kitchen.
“I’m gettin’ a bowl of ice cream,” you announce, taking the frozen matcha treat out of the freezer. “Do you want some?”
He pauses momentarily, taking his thumbnail between his teeth. “Six scoops with chocolate syrup, please.” He hasn’t seemed to notice that you’re butt-ass naked just yet.
“Coming right up,” you respond, preparing his bowl to bring over to him.
“Here,” you say, nudging his arm with the bowl.
“Thank—,” he stops, looking into the bowl with a deadpan expression. “You didn’t put the syrup…”
Your face begins to burn with frustration, but you ignore it, continuing with your motive. “Lick it off me first and then I’ll put it on.”
He finally lifts his head, scanning you up and down, eyes widening. His eyes dart to your chest where you’ve drizzled some of the chocolate syrup on your breasts.
He slides his slender fingers against the small of your back, pulling you to him. You gasp quietly, his cool hand giving your naked body prickly goosebumps. He then stands up and dips his head down, face-level with your perky breasts. You shiver violently as a result of him blowing cool air on your already hard nipples.
“Hey!” You whisper-shout. You’re already finding it hard to stand as your knees are buckling from the tension. You don’t appreciate being teased.
L starts with your right breast, his tongue is contrastingly warm and soft in comparison to the rest of his body. He licks around it, swirling his tongue teasingly and taking your breast into his mouth entirely, being sure to get every last drop of the syrup. He repeats the action to your left breast and then licks down your stomach and belly button to catch the remaining drizzle.
As soon as he finishes, he takes the syrup from your hand, your grip weak and loose now anyway. He sits back down in his chair and neatly drizzles the syrup over his melting ice cream.
You continue to stand there, wet, wildly turned on, and freezing, but hoping to be warmed up very fucking soon.
You snatch the bowl from his hand, staring a hole into the side of his head as he looks ahead, spoon still held up to his mouth. He licks the spoon clean and then sets it down, turning to you
“How dare you do what you just did to me and then just go back to what you’re doing? Like…are you alright in the head? Don’t tease me like that!” You shout, ignoring how innocent and unassuming his face looks right now.
“I just wanted to eat my ice cream…”He murmurs, finger-pointing to the bowl in your hand. “I mean — you made it for me.”
You gawk at him, utterly empty of words. You can’t even be mad at your boyfriend; he’s too precious. It drives you insane. The look on his face immediately fills you with guilt at how mean you’re currently being.
“Fuck,” you exasperate, placing the bowl back down on his table. You lean forward to grab his face, forcing him to look at you. “I’m sorry. That was mean.”
“It’s okay,” he replies awkwardly, looking anywhere but in your eyes.
You kiss him on his squished-in lips and to your surprise, he accepts the kiss without any cheeky remarks. You swap spit, taking your tongue out on occassion to lick his lips and tongue in circles. Nasty, sloppy kissing is your favorite. You release his face from your grasp so that he can move freely.
He sighs, looking down at his throbbing bulge through his pants. “Look at what you’ve done to me. I guess you were gonna get that quality time out of me one way or the other. But this… this just isn’t fair.”
You unbutton his pants, pulling his dick out of his boxers to relieve him. His pink tip is sopping with pre-cum and your mouth waters at the sight. He tenses up in his position, fingers tightening around his boney knees.

Getsuga Tensho is a technique using Zangetsu's powers and only Ichigo can call upon the technique, it cannot be used by Zangetsu without its wielder or Ichigo without his weapon. And my proof is this line by Ichigo:
He is fighting with Zangetsu, not using him.
And there's also the fact that Zangetsu was literally fused to his hand.
Now then that we established that, let's get to this point.
Final Getsuga Tensho is not just a final technique. It's also a combination of all of Ichigo's powers. Both Shinigami, Hollow and Quincy. And why is that?
When Ichigo was fighting Zangetsu he was fighting both his Quincy (in Young lad Zangetsu) Hollow/Shinigami (In white Ichigo) in a fused state. And achieving FGT is him basically accepting both powers, and making himself a weapon for a short time, becoming Getsuga itself.
Heck we talked about his design resembling Yhwach why not talk about how his design resembles a Hollow in how the mask wraps around half of his face with little teeth and how the black spirit energy is like his Tensa Zangetsu's Getsuga Tensho (shinigami power) only strengthening my thought about it not just being a final technique/attack but a fusion of all of his powers, both mastered and latent (which is why Ishinn had Ichigo do it, not him. His wouldn't probably match Aizen)
And the nail in the coffin is what Aizen says here.
Aizen here is beyond Quincy, Shinigamis, Hollows and humans, no one can stand up to him. He's on a higher plane than all beings except Ichigo. Who overpowered him with ease, who's on a higher plane than he is.
There's only one being that can be on a higher plane than the Quincy,Hollows,Shinigami:
Yhwach, the Quincy King, the Almighty. He's the only one who could over power aizen that much and without even trying.
Now I am not saying that Ichigo is somehow using the Almighty powers, that's stupid. I am saying that he was using his Quincy powers which are from Yhwach himself. Fusing it with his other abilities to make Aizen look like a joke.
And even then, FGT is probably just an imperfect version of Ichigo's final form he used against Yhwach. Because FGT is used when Ichigo didn't fully realize and unlock his Quincy powers/Blood. And that it's a one shot weapon where he can use it only once and lose all his powers after whereas his final form where he realizes and mastered all of his powers he uses to its fullest potential and doesn't just disappear.
And that it looked like how Zangetsu looks like when he was fighting him for the Final Getsuga Tensho.
And all of this leads me to believe that Ichigo was using his Quincy powers there and that's how he overpowered Aizen that easily, especially in base.
TL;DR FGT is just an imperfect Final form that Ichigo uses against Yhwach in chapter 676.
