I have zero preference. It's not even a matter of "a good writer could convince me either way." I don't need convincing of anything. They both suit either position in my mind. People who refuse to read one position or another are missing out on so much incredible writing.
And while I'm here, a distinction a lot of people miss or confuse:
Verse/vers/versatile is the term for someone who both bottoms and tops.
Switch is the term for someone who both Doms and subs.
I've been think how I don't care about the top/bottom dynamics in wincest. For me some ships are pretty obvious about that, but I saw so many different opinions about this while I was starting to ship, that I consider them flex at this point
Said that I wanted to ask:
I don't have a specific head cannon for who is top and who is bottom. Because sometimes I need bitchy bratty bottom!Dean or soft dom top!Sam or slutty baby boy bottom!Sam or protective growly top!Dean or needy whiny bottom!Dean or-
These boys just have the kind of relationship where they are both switches because what they need changes moment to moment and their brother is always there, ready to be whatever the other needs him to be.
Top/bottom discourse in the year of our lord 2024?! Aw yeah.
But in a fun, non-wankbait-y way. 🫶 Like, say, apart from the obvious Sam/Dean discussion, who might top in a Dean/Benny scenario (what happens in Purgatory stays in Purgatory)? Or Sam/Crowley (everyone knows that demon has a hellish hard-on for the Moose)? Plus a whole bunch of others!
