runnin’ round the country club trying to keep yourself entertained while you are supposed to be with rafe, top and kelce.
thinking about rafe, topper, and kelce, helping to teach you how to drive….
you were about to be gifted a pretty new car for your birthday but you still didn’t know how to drive so the boys said they’d help teach you! you stood in the shade picking at your nails as the boys planned an easy enough route for you to practice on without hitting anything or anyone.
“can we get going pleaseee, you guys can trust me- i read a car manual once, i know how things work….”
“fine, we should be alright i guess…” rafe mumbles as he opens the drivers side car door for you to hop in, he sticks out his hand for you to grab to help you climb into his truck. with rafe in the passenger seat next you, top and kelce in the back you put on the seat belt and place your hands onto the steering wheel to wait for instructions.
“i can’t believe you are lettin' her use your car man.” kelce shakes his head with wide eyes
“it’s better than lettin’er practice in one of yours, mine the safest one if anything were to happen.” rafe turns his head back to you “j’us don’t crash…kay?”
“mmhm…how do i start?”
rafe, with his tendency to stress easily, guiding you through the basics of starting the car and adjusting the mirrors. his hands grip on the steering wheel as he instructs you like a child to put your foot on the brake pedal.
"kay, slow and steady now babydoll" rafe says, his voice stern yet soft, letting go of the wheel so you could try keeping it straight. "we don't want to accelerate too quickly, jus' easeee onto the gas...not too much!" you press down on the pedal with your foot as the car moves forward a few inches then breaks suddenly causing everyone in the car to jolt forward.
“jesus!!…” topper breathes out, both him and kelce then grip onto the handles on the inside roof of the car.
"oh god, i'm sorry!" you wince
“s’alright s’fine just try- try again…” topper encourages as you place your foot back on the gas pedal again
slowly you start to get the hang of it, cruising slowly down the street at a decent pace, everyone seems to be relaxed as you are gaining confidence behind the wheel. then your phone starts to ring, you look down to were you set it down near the cup-holders which causes you to lose a little control of where you are going and makes the car swerve slightly and speed up.
“EYES ON THE ROAD!” they all shout boyishly, panicked and clearly stressed. rafe’s hand flies out in front of you to emphasize its importance.
“that might be kie, can i get it?”
“NO!!!” they all shout again
“jeez, ohkay!”
kelce mutters little prayers under his breath "please, let us survive this.” you let out a nervous yelp when up ahead you see a squirrel just chilling in the middle of the road.
“what do i do!”
“JUST SLOW DOWN!” “EYES ON THE ROAD!” the boys shout overlapping their panicked voices, you scream and squeeze your eyes shut and turn your head away.
“NO HEY! DON’T CLOSE YOUR EYES WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY!?” rafe shouts all rambly
“ohkay!” you hit the breaks just before the squirrel scampers off up a tree.
“ALRIGHT OUT.” rafe commands, pushing his hair back out of his face, then unbuckling you. “I’m driving the way back, switch.”
as rafe gets out of the passenger seat and rounds the hood of the car to get into the driver seat as you climb over the armrests to get to your new seat.
“jesus kid…you know what?...you wanna go somewhere in your new car? call me and i’ll take you wherever you wanna go….s’dangerous havin' you out on the roads like this.” rafe huffs as he starts the car again.
“we almost died!” topper lets scoff almost in disbelief at how things took a turn.
“I got slightly distracted! wasn’my fault.”

today rafe, top, and kelce convinced you join them for a little gym sesh at the country club with the promise of some dessert and a martini after. as you entered with the boys the sound of weights clanking and music played in the background filled the atmosphere.
"s'nice in here!" you smile and look up at rafe who is guiding you to where he wants to start first. "you wanna watch and then i'll teach you yeah?" he says grabbing your hair lovingly from behind to get it out of your face, like a makeshift ponytail. "mkay i'll watch you." you look over to see top and kelce have gone to to their own thing not to far away. rafe sits down to bench press as you stand behind him to "spot" him as if you could ever lift that thing up.
"jus' gonna do a few of these, 110kg maybe 4 or 5." he just talks as if you know what that means, you nod and watch him start to lift, muscles workin', sweat forming, you watch him and your heartbeat increases he just looks so masculine and watching him is just so-
"you wanna try now babydoll?" he asks sitting up, bringing you back from your day-dreamy thoughts.
"okay but go easy..." you sigh, you reach out your hand to poke at his shoulder muscle then to squeeze his bicep.
"ya like that?" he grins. "rate out of 10 baby"
"10/10! i love your muscles and when you are all sweaty..." you giggle and sit down on the bench. "i know you do." he tilts his head to press a kiss to your cheek and then he removes the difficult weights and just leaves the bar for you to try.
"the bar is 20kg so just take it nice n easy, arch your back a little f'me" his words make your heart melt a little and leave you wanting to press your thighs together. "hands wider and lift....to under your chest kay?" he hovers over the bar with one hand just in case as you start to lift it and bring it down. "atta girl there you go..." he praises as you lift it back up and onto the little resting handles. "easy yeah?" he asks and you nod.
"it was kinda light!" you giggle all flushed.
"you wanna do 25 each side now?" you asks and you shake your head willing to try it.
"kay just do what you did before kid, m'right here" he places the weights on and guides you as you lift it, bring it down and back up again.
"niceeee baby, really nice, how do you feel?" he leans closer to you from behind. "i feel like m'not ever going to hit chest again." you giggle.
topper and kelce come over, top hands you some water and you take a few sips before handing it back to him. "feel my heartbeat!" you pant, grabbing toppers hand to place on top of your tit. "mmh oh wow!" topper's eyebrows raise and he blushes feeling your heartbeat...and your tit.
"none of that shit." rafe smacks his hand away, pissed he's touching you at all, and you oblivious of what you said, smile and turn to find the exit to get your drink and maybe a tiramisu.
"can i feel?" kelce asks with a smirk which causes rafe to turn to him like he can't believe he just asked that and glares at him. "fuck no." he huffs then turning to where you were standing then realizing you have already wandered off like a curious puppy to get what you were promised. ᥫ᭡ᥫ᭡

I was walking into my house when I heard giggling coming from upstairs, so kitchen it is. Maybe I could call Topper see if they wanna hang out before this storm so I pull out my phone to text him, I pulled out my phone and opened up my messaging app.
Rose had come down stairs and of course she has to complain about something, "I'm going to my room and Toppers coming over." I said to Rose. "If you want to sleep over do it has his because I will not be kept up by you two getting drunk and making a ruckus." "Yes ma'am." God she is so annoying.
"Rafe buddy I'm here" Topper shouted through the house, I shot up out of my desk chair running downstairs before Sarah could steal him away. And there he stood all tall and hot Topper Thornton. Wait did I just call my best friend hot. "Rafe buddy you okay?" " Yes definitely let's go, come on bub." I grabbed his hand and started to pull him up stairs but he caught up quickly and we ended walking upstairs hand in hand with a blush making my face red as I looked up and saw him smiling at me.

Rafe's POV
I looked at the clock and saw that it was getting late, and I'm kinda hungry. I look over at Topper who was sitting in my desk chair, who looked kind of bored. "Hey Topp?" "Yeah Rafe?" "Uh... Wanna get some food?" He paused the game looking over at me and said "Yeah sure."
As we head out of my room Sara walks out of hers with Wheezie who walked past heading downstairs, "Hey Topper! Rafe." "Hey Sara." "Sara" "Oh by the way Dad said Topper can stay during the storm since his mom's on the mainland." I looked over at Topper who looked a little uneasy.
"Cool we're going now bye." I say grabbing Topper's hand and dragged him away from Sara and downstairs to the kitchen where I see Wheezie smiled at my little sister grabbing my keys "Tell Dad I'm staying at Topper's tonight. Bye Wheezie" I keeped walking to the door when I realized I was still holding Topper's hand I looked at him expecting him to be mad only to find him smiling at me. As we walked outside I let go of his hand to lock the door. Topper not noticing kept walking I hit my head on the door.
God I'm an idiot.
I feel someone grab my hand and pull my head off the door rubbing my forehead a bit then grabbing my chin making me look at them. Topper.
"Bub don't hit your head you could get hurt. Come on let's go," grabbing my keys from me "I'm driving you look tired." He says pulling me a little till I catch up walking side by side hand in hand until we got to the truck."I can leave my jeep her right?" "Huh? Oh um yeah definitely."
