I can't give the honest fully informed opinion I would want to since I have yet to read the manga but I feel like people are a bit unfair with regards to Kikyo. Okay, true, she didn't accept (or totally understand) Inuyasha's nature in its wholeness, she could really consider him capable of such an awful betrayal, but you are failing to see that this woman was not less split of Inuyasha, she was wrong but her try was genuine, she did want to have faith, she did love Inuyasha, and the fact that her heart was not strong enough at that time doesn't mean that her feelings were not true or real. And, just to be clear, I'm 100% inukag, but still.
