Misconduct Chapter 2
2.6k For now this chapter is just needed information. The meeting between Tseng and Genesis. Over the next week I'll be adding a couple of other chapters.
âYouâre late.â
It appears as though Genesis is already grating at Tsengâs nerves. The expression crossing Tsengâs features made it known he was far less than pleased by Genesisâ punctuality. Well lack thereof. The way Genesis sauntered in the room as though he had not a concern in the world. Sipping on a bottle of Banora White juice, truly not a care in the world. His eyes scanned across the room before meeting Tsengâs gaze. âAt the very least, Tseng, you could have pulled a seat up for me.â
âI expect everyone who works under me to be punctual. There are no exceptions. Especially those Iâm doing a favor for.â Tsengâs voice calm, and emphasized the âfavorâ portion of his statement. He didnât expect working with Genesis to be easy. Tseng knows, fully, how difficult working with Genesis could be. There wasnât much of a choice after Rufus stated outright, he only wanted Tseng indirectly working on this assignment from here on out. It was impossible to take him away from this mission with the amount of information heâs gathered over the years. Rufus merely thought Tsengâs skills could be used in a more efficient manner, or so he claimed.
Wheeling one of the chairs from the desk in the center of the office, setting it in front of Tsengâs desk. As Genesis took his seat, setting his drink on the desk now before him, crossing his legs and leaning back in his seat as he regarded Tseng. âIt was five minutes. Is there no grace period around here?â
Tseng genuinely struggled to prevent himself from rolling his eyes. Having his own rather rowdy crew to deal with, now the addition of Genesis. They had no choice but to rely on someone else, the other Turks failing to cover nearly the amount of ground in which Tseng was able to. Not even coming close, something Tseng couldnât quite comprehend. In parallel it was completely reasonable, it took a special kind of skill to get close to their target. âThereâs no such thing as a grace period in our line of work. If youâre not early, you are late. Even a few seconds can determine if you will succeed or fail.â A small smirk gracing Tsengâs face, âI donât think I need to go into too much detail. Youâll hear all of this during your safety training.â
The smugness in Genesisâ features faltered for a moment, the jab at, what he felt like, was his pride immediately sparking irritation within him. âWhat role do you want me to play in your childish schemes? It looks like a desperate move to have an outsider do your work.â Genesisâ mind was filled with questions regarding why he had to pair up with the Turks. Theyâve reached out to SOLDIER before for assistance on plenty of missions, but nothing long term.
Pulling out a rather large binder, setting it down before Genesis. âThereâs a lot, so try to follow along the best you can.â Standing up, Tseng walks over to the wall mounted monitor behind his desk. Powering it on, the screen illuminates with a blue hue before transitioning to a powerpoint like screen, various charts appear spread about, âThis is a quick overview of the sudden spike in crime through sectors one through three. Mostly violence and drug related crimes. Both seem to be going hand and hand as most of the perpetrators that have been brought in display similar symptoms that are causing them to lash out. After questioning many of them we found out they appear to be coming from a similar source, though we are positive there is a far larger source.â Using the remote to bring a new slide into view, a series of buildings. By the appearance of the storefront it was a small franchise, specializing in herbal remedies. A map, in the bottom left corner of the monitor, pinpointing the locations of each store. Noting that they franchise started with a store in sector three nearly five years ago. With two more locations opening up earlier in the year.
Putting two and two together, Genesis pieces together the correlation of the conversation at hand and the images of the businesses âNot to criticize your, oh so wonderfully structured government, but a âherbal supplyâ does sound a bit obvious. So is it that surprising?â Genesis couldnât resist his urge to comment, the very concept throwing red flags. Images of the inside of the store showed a very clean and organized environment, products placed neatly in glass cases on the side of each wall with a few shelves in the middle of the floor. Not a very large place at all, each store having a similar layout to another. âThe decorations kind of scream âdrugsâ may I add.â
Tseng could do without the interruptions but he couldnât deny that Genesis was right. For the past half year theyâve taken to regularly sending in health inspectors which require testing of the product being sold. Unless the inspectors were in on whatever plans this franchise had, Tseng would assume they were innocent. However, that couldnât be the case. âIt is just a front, a way for them to do business discreetly. So far we donât have any physical proof that these stores are truly attached to the spike in crime, they do a good job at keeping it all under wraps. We do, however, have a crack in their foundation. Not a very large one, but if you can get through to them, you might have a solid lead.â
As the slide transitioned Genesis couldnât help the coy smile playing on his lips as he examined the image of you on the screen. A cheeky mugshot, smiling proudly as if you just won the jackpot. âThis must be our little criminal. That is certainly a shame,â his eyes following along the screen, taking note of your preexisting criminal record. Scanning over the portion highlighting your record. âViolent little thing.â Noting the numerous assault related offenses. Another charge for distributing illegal substances along with weapon violations. âCertainly not an upstanding citizen of Midgar. You didnât think to lock them away by now?â
â(y/n) (l/n). They have a way with Shinraâs legal system. Though, we keep rather close tabs on them due to her past affiliations in the slums, namely, Don Corneo.â Tseng, motioning to the binder that was set in front of Genesis. âEverything you need to know about their past is heavily documented. You need to be well informed with who you will be dealing with, so I suggest you do a bit of studying. They have a tendency to be incredibly elusive and have a persuasive way of talking or guiding people that are investigating them to redirect their attention elsewhere. Their mannerisms are also documented, you need to know exactly what to look for when you two speak. More than likely will resort to being deceitful within seconds, very guarded.â
âYou know Tseng, if youâre already so knowledgeable on this case,â Genesis states matter of factly, pausing a moment before saying whatâs on his mind. Heâs certain none of the other Turks would be efficient enough to document so much detail about anyone or anything, âWhy arenât you covering it if youâre already so deeply acquainted?â
A question that makes Tseng visibly bristle, his body tensing at the intrusive question, otherwise giving away no indication that he was bothered. âIâm needed for more important tasks, I will still be working on this case. Albeit itâs from a distance, Iâll be your assistance. This task cannot be done by you alone. It will take a team effort. Though we could have tried resorting to our other Turks, theyâre familiar with them and wonât cooperate. Someone else needs to get as close to them as I did. While not a perfect fit, you should do.â
While a little outdated, the information displayed had your last known address and pictures of the outside of the residence. Every entrance and window was detailed, down to how they opened. Images of your daily driver and the numerous license plates you were caught using appearing under the photo of your car. A mild look of surprise crossing Genesisâ features, his voice mirroring his disbelief. âI see this car every other morning. If they donât live near me, they certainly frequent the area a lot.â
âAre you certain itâs the same car?â
âDrives like a total asshole? Unbearably loud motor, smells like it gives off more pollution than the reactors? Will nearly kill anyone just to be stuck at the red light with us?â
âSounds about right.â Tseng canât help the ghost of a smirk playing on his lips. You were always a rowdy one, it didnât matter what you were doing. Your fiery personality displays in every action you perform. âNext time you see this car, I want you to trail it. Keep a healthy distance, you have to remain undetectable. They will catch on pretty fast, if your presence is detected. If they opt to evade, you let it happen. Youâll be a new face to them, and that should instill a level of paranoia within their mind. Thatâs not what we want, not yet anyways.â Tseng knows all too well how you operate, this is why he makes this request. âThey donât frequent the same location regularly, always on a randomized schedule. Just a tactic used to throw anyone off. They have a typical day to day routine, each activity will swap times each day. I want you to find out if theyâve added anything new to their routine.â
Genesis canât help the frown taking place on his face. Following you wouldnât be a problem. Using his personal vehicle for work was a problem, especially putting one of his prized possessions at risk. Being a man of finer taste Genesis went out of his way to make sure his car was one of a kind. âDo I get a company car for this?â
Tseng truly didnât want to entertain this question, yet he had to make it clear to Genesis that any order was to be fulfilled. No matter the circumstance, âYou could be riding a bicycle and I fully expect you to pursue them. I will supply you with anything I see fit.â In short, it wasnât a no. There wasnât a need to change vehicles just yet. âEven seeing a new vehicle in their usual commute has caused them to change routes in the past. If you tip them off, weâll discuss it.â
As Genesis flips through the binder of information, it seems like all of the information on you has been very well documented. The data goes as deep as your childhood. All of your previous addresses logged into a list, the numerous places they could find you in the slums, all of your associates and family members. The pages highlighting your time in Wall Market were the lengthiest. Starting out your path of self destruction with that area at fifteen. It was almost odd to Genesis how Shinra felt the need to monitor you so closely rather than arresting you and charging you properly for everything youâve done. Maybe an inside source, thinking back to Tsengâs comment on how you âhave a way with Shinraâs legal system.â
Allowing Genesis time to skim over your file. Tseng watches his face go through a small flurry of emotions. Mostly Genesis raising an eyebrow here and there, nodding his head and giving a disapproving grunt as he continued reading more about you.
It made sense to Genesis now, dealing with you truly was the punishment. While in his eyes he immediately saw a criminal that probably didnât have a thought in their head, you were almost an expert when it came to organized crime. For the last two years it seems you havenât been up to any trouble, nothing more than boring day to day data taken down. Your current employment at âGaia's Elixirâ herbal supply being one of the first jobs listed since your teenage years, starting around the same date the location in sector two opened. It makes sense to assume you were tied into these strange occurrences with the occupants of Midgar and the timing of your presence at your, for lack of better words, job. Your past heavily inclining you would continue your previous actions. Finally asking the question Genesis dreaded the most, uttering out in a resigned tone as he leaned back into his seat. âWhat do you need me to do?â
Tseng, reclaiming his seat across from Genesis, using one of the arm rests to prop his chin in his hand while giving a thoughtful look before straightening his posture. âI think it would be best to befriend them first. Theyâre more willing to do so if the person they would be acquainted with can do something for them. Your high rank within Shinra for example, something that could be taken advantage of. In theory you could help them get away with plenty of unlawful acts. I suggest meeting them in as casual of a way as possible. Outlined in the pages regarding their general affairs, youâll find bars, restaurants, parks etcetera that Iâve known them to frequent. Time yourself accordingly and it can go in your favor. Thatâs your main objective for now. Next weâll focus on pinning whatever charges we can gather on them so we can bring them in for questioning. Any other questions?â
He nearly wanted to mention the Turks usual interrogation tactics. Fully aware of how underhanded they could be about most of the cases they handle. Perhaps if the circumstances were different they would have brought you in and forced any information out of you. âCanât take the same approach every time,â Genesis thought to himself, unable to conjure up any questions to ask. Considering anything he would want to know seems to be right before him. âAnd when do I start?â
âRight now.â Pulling a PHS from his pocket, handing it over to Genesis as Tseng provides the final details, âThis is to stay with you at all times. Iâll be tracking your location and will get notified whenever you begin moving. This is also your only way to contact me, the number is already saved. Youâre also required to answer at all times. What youâre doing doesnât matter. You are free to go now. Remember, the moment you see their car-â
âFollow them, I got it.â Genesis didnât like hearing that in the slightest, his tone making it clear. To constantly be watched by Tseng couldnât possibly be a good thing. His micromanaging ways would quickly wear down on Genesis nerves, almost positive Tseng would pay him random visits while working alongside him. The when and where Tseng would pop up was on Genesisâ mind. Pocketing the PHS as he got up from his seat, picking up the binder while making a mental note to keep it somewhere secure. To Tsengâs displeasure leaving the seat Genesis moved from its usual home left out of place.
Before Genesis could reach the door, Tsengâs voice rang out, âBy the way, Iâll send over a copy of your safety training schedule. Luckily for you, itâs three days out of the week.â Watching as Genesis walked out of the door without a word. Tseng couldnât help but sigh, envisioning how this mission would be carried out. His hopes werenât high, but he knew as long as he worked with Genesis it had the potential to be completed.

sidenote:Adding Tseng in last minute caused this story to change drastically, but I think it was for the better. Wanted to give more of an update but I'll be adding a couple of more chapters throughout the week. Also mid way through (I don't know why) started typing this out as though reader was female. If i missed any pronouns I didn't make gn please let me know. Though I called myself combing through it numerous times.
Sorry I like my men toxic and nobody can convince me that Tseng would give you a fully healthy relationship. Heâs just not the worst guy you could date. So here are some of Tsengâs toxic habits. I wish we could post powerpoint slides. Like I guess NSFW for my choice of words. Edit: Okay Iâve typed more. Itâs NSFW, it wasnât that when it was just scattered notes i swear. granted, this is still scattered notes
Forgiveness?
Tseng. The man you forgive a million times because someone like him is so hard to come by. Even if youâre a person who doesnât tolerate bullshit. You know that it would be impossible to find anyone nearly as good as him despite his mistakes. Tseng knows this too, taking advantage of your level of comfort in him. The connection between the two of you so deep there wasnât a possibility you could view life without him. Tseng creates soul bonds with his significant other, he has to have all of you fully invested in him. You would also want for absolutely nothing, he can provide everything you could ever want so you can focus on the future you want to build for yourself. Whether itâs school, art, creating your own business, etc. Tseng is there to guarantee everything goes according to plan if itâs financially or if he has to pull a few strings. Seeks out people who would be reluctant to replace him but arenât very co-dependent. If you manage to leave Tseng, say good riddance to developing any new relationships. Heâs either going to make any of your new significant others vanish. If itâs someone he canât kill, heâll find a way to scare them away from you or find a way to put them in prison.Â
My alternative reasoning as to why all of your other relationships would fail? The dick of course. Yes. The unbelievable wee wee. Thereâs not a soul in the world that would be able to learn your body the way he does. Have you ever heard of people being nearly ready to pass away because they lost their dick? Well if you havenât, you have now. Even thinking of him fucking someone else the way he does with you is enough to make you want to vomit. That shit will have you sliding down the wall crying. You can try all you like to fuck someone else, it wonât compare. The way he touches you immediately sends electricity down your spine. Itâs all in the way he knows how to touch you. Where to touch you. A subtle brush of his fingers along the small of your back while youâre riding him. An almost tickling sensation that causes you to press yourself against him as he leans up to kiss the most sensitive parts of your neck. How about when all he needs to do is look into your eyes and knows exactly how you want to be fucked? You canât think of a time you had to ask him to do anything, your minds were seemingly in perfect sync. Always so so willing to please you. âSo you wanna fuck other people huh?â He whispers in your ear mockingly while driving his cock deeper into you. Your knees pressed against your chest, legs hooked in Tsengâs arms as he ensures you wonât slip out of your position. No, you really donât, not when heâs reminding you of what youâll be missing. Youâll be calling him the next day for more, innocently asking for him to come over to âtalkâ. There wonât be much talking, just Tseng bending you over the kitchen table. His hands gripping your hips tightly as he fucks himself into you so deeply, ignoring the way your hands push against his abdomen in a half-hearted attempt to slow his tempo down.Â
There arenât many people in this world that would be nearly as attentive as he is. The way he can easily tell all of your needs within moments of talking to you. Reads you like a book and it canât help but make your heart flip, cause like, âwho sent this man?â and why does he know all of your emotional needs and exactly how to take care of them? Tseng carries aspects of his job along with his relationships. The same way he gets to know his enemies closely, heâll do the same to you. Memorizes all of your sayings, even can predict what your response would be to most questions or statements. Itâs almost more eerie than heart warming. With this comes the ability to manipulate you endlessly. Gaslighting has never been easier honestly. Lying to you about anything or forcing you to agree with his point of view would be childâs play. The way he carries himself during an argument, so well composed, rarely letting his emotions control him paired with the way he effectively strings his words together to soothe you. His calmness will make you question why youâre even so worked up. Tseng isnât, so why are you? Tseng makes you see everything through rose colored lenses, and despite your aching heart when he hurts you, Tseng could never be wrong in your eyes. He only does whatâs best for you.Â
Gaslighting? Probably.
Truly remembers every word youâve said to him and will use it against you. This goes back into my last little paragraph but deeper? Uses traumatic things from your past so you can believe that maybe your emotions, in regards to something Tseng has done wrong, are nothing more than misguided reactions. Will have you think that maybe youâre projecting your fears from past experiences onto him when you challenge him or try to hold him accountable for any wrongdoings. Certainly will guilt trip you knowing exactly what makes you feel like youâre the biggest piece of shit in the world. He doesnât have to do anything outrageous. Itâs the way Tseng subtly changes his body language. Slumping his shoulders just a bit, the way his brow furrows at your words or actions, breaking eye contact and staring at the floor like a scolded child. To put the cherry on top, itâs the ever so slight change in his tone of voice. The wavering in his tone as he speaks softly, not too soft for it to sound out of the ordinary, but enough for you to believe youâve hurt his feelings. Usually resulting in you coddling him, now youâre the one apologizing because you ânever meant to make him feel badâ even if itâs because you were grilling him for something as major as fucking his boss behind your back. Believing that it must be your fault if heâs off sleeping with others. Master manipulator for sure. Heâs good at lying, like we see what he does for a living.
Like to make you cry because he's the only one that can also make you better. At times heâll do this just to make sure heâs got complete control over you still. Wrapping his arms around you in such a calming way, his warmth and sweet words coaxing you to relax against him so he could âmake it all better again.â More makeup sex. Somehow gets a kick out of cheering you back up. One minute you were sobbing because his words were a little too cruel and now youâre sobbing because he wonât stop fucking you so good. Tseng has a way he likes to position you in times like this. Having you lay on your stomach, your back arched just enough for his hips to flush against your ass as he completely sheaths himself in you, whispering in your ear asking âyou still love me, right?â Christ, he has a way of making himself emotionally needy at just the right times. You canât help but whimper, whine, and eventually choke out, through your moans, your appreciation, love, and devotion to him. Always ends with him cuming in you, some aftercare, then holding you in his arms for a majority of the night unless work calls him away.
Sometimes-y af?
He can pick and choose when he wants to pick up your relationship or not but you cannot do the same to him. Loves someone who he can come and go as he pleases with. You're so stupid and willing. Loyal to a fault, though the only person itâs negatively affecting is you. There isnât a time youâve turned him away thus far. Constantly taking him into your arms, babying him as though heâs some angel despite you knowing he isnât. Tsengâs just managed to get you to the point you couldn't care less about his deceptive ways. You just want him by your side, no matter what the circumstances may be. The entire world can see the invisible leash and collar Tseng has put on you, yet you manage to stay blind to it all. Youâll wait like the good little puppy heâs molded you into.Â
Itâs a wonder he can be such a gentleman and a conniving son of a bitch. The kind to end an argument by demanding to be left alone but will ask âwhat you're doing tonightâ a few hours later---he's going to fuck youâgiving you a reason to keep accepting him back into your loving arms. He knows youâre a gift from the Goddess but he canât help that he likes being toxic at times. Itâs why he treats you so well and the sex is so unbelievably good. He needs to cement himself into your soul so he can continuously get away with everything, so things can continue to go exactly as he wants it to. Tseng prefers a life with you that has no consequences. For him. You, however, have to deal with punishment if you dare treat him in a similar manner to his treatment of you. Will show his displeasure with hurtful words and by neglecting you. If that doesnât have the desired effects heâs willing to scare you into submission. Once again, nothing too outrageous that he would do. Tseng might just choke you a bit, push you against a wall, or if you try to run heâll hold you against him tightly. Whispering into your ear about making you disappear if he canât have you the way he wants you. Telling you how he does so much for you and he at the very least deserves you on your best behavior at all times or else he might just have to break that pretty neck of yours. Isnât too big on yelling, he can get his point across just fine without having to do so.
Stalker? Obviously.
Tseng has trackers in your cars, phone, and bags. It doesnât matter where you go, heâs going to find you. Heâs definitely followed you from location to location, making sure you were doing what you said you would be. Sure heâs always been able to track you, but that isnât the same as seeing you. You could be doing anything in the areas you claimed to be in. Tseng is even familiar with the faces of employees of each store you frequent. Has tracked down every family member and friend of yours, performing thorough background checks on all of them. Even closely looking after some of the people closest to you. Tseng has to approve of the people you hang around of course, he wonât tolerate anything that he feels is a negative influence and will force them out of your life. Tseng will sit outside of your house for hours after leaving, wondering if someone will come over. If he knows someone is coming over heâs got your home micâd. Listening to all of your conversations, evading your most private conversations. Hates to hear when you vent about him, makes it hard to come back to you and act nice when in reality he wants to correct you for telling his business to your friends and family. Doesnât mind when youâre speaking highly of him though, you help boost his ego most of the time. Getting space from Tseng is impossible. Your attempts to drive around and find a nice parking spot are all for nothing. Heâs following right behind you. Is definitely going to block you in with his own car, angrily getting out of his own. Once he made you leave your car where it was entirely. Pissed that you would try to get away from him at all, it doesnât matter if itâs just for a few hours. Pushing you into the passenger seat of his car, driving you back home all while yelling about how stupid you were and that you would always come back begging for him.Â
He was always right about that. Nothing would stop you from wanting Tseng back if he finally decided he was done. A relationship with Tseng is either on his terms or very much a âtill death do us partâÂ
Totally gotta say, if Tseng manages to find a partner it's almost always going to be with people he has no business dealing with. Coworkers, enemies...yanno shit like that. Right up his alley. Things that simply cannot last forever and were doomed from the start is more of his style. (imo)
Sweet and innocent doesn't seem like it would appeal to that man at all
Misconduct Chapter 3
I really don't have a description for this chapter one. We finally get to see some of reader though.
For Tumblr Description Only: Turns out I didnât add this last upload to tumblr but had it on ao3.
So notes for certain visuals, feel free to of course adjust to your liking:
*Y/N vehicle list *for now*: 1980âs Buick Grand National. All black, of course. Also dark tints, for sure (pls yes, perfect condition)
*Genesisâ vehicle *yanno heâs got some rich shit*: 2016 Rolls Royce, maroon and with seats to match. (Iâll get to the custom specifics later)
I have something special for Tseng but we don't see him around too much for a bit so I won't be adding here.
I guess POVâs will be changing. Makes it easier to write, dunno how to swap them smoothly. Iâll state when and who POV it changes to. Please lol, I donât know how to address povâs decently so work with me.
Reader pov:Â
âWe're short a package.â You state groggily, yawning as you read over the inventory list again. Moving the clipboard impossibly close to your face as you follow each line with your pen. It was 2am by now and your desire to go to bed was becoming greater than your need to nitpick through each shipment. Then again, it was your job to make sure everything was accounted for. Even being a single item off would raise a lot of questions, making your job far harder for yourself than it needed to be. The tasks were easy in your eyes and didn't require you to do much besides risk your livelihood on occasion. This was the third time the new shipment has been counted. Pulling the clipboard away from your face, glancing in the direction of the newcomer you were stuck with for the day. A frown taking over your features as you think back on your distaste when it comes to working with anyone. Everything goes so smooth when youâre alone, usually never having a complication.
You were certain it wasnât your fault the numbers were off. Inwardly groaning as you walked over to him, âHey, Paul. You can head out for the night. Iâll wrap this up, weâve got most of the count complete anyways.âÂ
Paul, an average height, darker toned male with glasses, couldnât have been any older than 18 you presumed. A patchy, scruffy beard lining his chin with a connecting mustache turns and gives you a worried look. His voice adds on to your overwhelming desire to get him out of this building. It was like the man wouldnât even open his mouth when speaking, mumbling each word so low you could hardly hear him. Really you wanted to ask âwhat the fuck did you just sayâ, but you were doing your damndest to be nice. It wasnât like youâd have to deal with the kid very often. âI wonât get paid if I leave now?âÂ
âIâll pay you myself if it gets you the hell away from meâ sighing as he goes back to rifling through each herbal bag. Your voice stops him from his actions.âWhoâs going to know you left early? I truly donât care, youâve done enough today anyways and itâs late.â Adding a point in to further sway things to your liking, âItâs free money, why say no?âÂ
Considering your offer for a quick moment before asking with a hint of hope in his voice, âAre you sure?âÂ
Poor boy, he looked exhausted anyway. No doubt this sort of lifestyle is having an effect on him, wearing him down quickly. Too bad heâll find out the hard way that once youâre a part of this scene, leaving without going in a body bag wasnât very much guaranteed.Â
âDonât worry, if youâre working with me Iâll try to accommodate as much as possible.â Your words echoing in your mind were far more harsh, ready to restart the count so you can carry on with the inventory process and get back to the comfort of your bed. Truly it wasnât entirely his fault you were in a sour mood, over the course of the week youâve hardly had a moment to rest. Having the next day off should prove as a nice reward for being stuck with such a large shipment.Â
Finally accepting your offer after a bit of persuading, Paul hands you the sheet of the count that heâs âcompletedâ up to this point. Glancing over the form as he retreats to grab his bag, watching him in the corner of your eye to make sure he doesnât take anything on his way out. After he leaves you immediately disregard the form he gave to you, tucking it behind the sheet of paper you were filling out on your clipboard. That wouldnât be of any use to you.Â
Sighing as you look at the mess of little white pouches on the floor, each one with a unique four digit item number on the front in a large, bold Times New Roman font. The name of each herb underneath the item number along with a small description of its intended purpose, from sleep, focus, energy, etc. Sorting through Paulâs side of the inventory count would be troublesome. Leaving the items in an unorganized state, like items that were supposed to be placed together stuffed in random bins. Â
After hours of reorganizing the packages by item number and weight you finally get the inventory count to match the shipment log, each herbal product being properly counted for. Not a single package is missing. Good, you can finally get out of here with what little sanity you have left. Storing them in the small warehouse, a series of tall silver wire shelves lining the walls, three lined up to create a few aisles. You neatly store each item in their labeled location. A look of relief crossing your face as you toss the last item in its designated place.Â
God, you couldnât be more excited to leave. Heading in the direction of the small office tucked in the far back corner of the warehouse, making sure to deposit the papers containing your count in the filing cabinet behind the small oak desk. You begin grabbing your belongings, stuffing your laptop into your backpack in a hurry before placing it on your back. Digging into the pockets of your black cargo pants for your keys as you make your way to the rear exit, locking the door behind you and giving it an extra tug to be sure the door was secure.Â
Rolling your eyes as you get to your car, throwing your bag over the driver's side, landing into the passenger seat with a thud. âFuck,â you forgot to enter in the results on the spreadsheet. Knowing you have a bit of leeway in your place of work you decide youâll worry about it later, it was something you could do from home anyway. Besides, itâs five in the morning and you havenât achieved an ounce of shut eye in what felt like the last twenty-four hours. Plopping into your seat you start the car, the motor roaring to life. The sound of your straight piped exhaust making your car twice as loud as it should be. Something your neighbors often complained about in the past. After a few choice words caused them to quickly quiet themselves down.Â
Pulling out of the parking lot and speeding your way through sector three. Lucky for you the streets werenât too busy, a Saturday morning coupled with it being so early, working out in your favor so you could barrel your way through the streets to your home in sector two. Only slowing down through areas you knew were patrolled by Shinra squad cars and yielding for an innocent driver you nearly sideswiped in your half asleep stupor. Probably not the most ideal condition to drive around in. How else would you get home though? Â
Finally making it to your subdivision. A large, wealthy area on the border of sector one and two. One of the few areas in Midgar where the houses were a decent distance apart, the houses having yards with perfectly cared for grass. Each house follows a similar structure, two and three story style homes, tan and gray brick homes. A few of them here and there are decorated with vinyl siding, matching the colors of the brick homes. Driving into the long, inclined driveway leading to the big detached garage of your own two story home. It wasnât the biggest house in the neighborhood, but it was an upgrade from your upbringing in the slums. Fitted with massive picture windows on the bottom floor and a small portion of the top floor and arched windows on the top floor. Like the other homes the yard was well kept, bushes that were along the front of the house evenly trimmed.Â
Parking outside of the garage proceeding to climb out of the car. Hardly remembering to grab your bag on the way out, you slam the door shut before following the walkway to the front door. The lack of sleep fully catches up to you causing you to drag your feet along the way, your fingers fumbling the keys as you unlock the door. There was only one thought in your head. âSleep.â Slowly making your way to the living room you canât help but drop your bag on the floor besides the large white sectional. Your arms feel as though they aren't capable of performing any miniscule task. Not even bothering to take your boots off you sprawl out on the couch, dangling your feet off of the edge in an attempt to keep your shoes off of the fine fabric. Having no intentions on leaving for the duration of the day,you drift off to sleep in no time.
**Genesis+Tseng pov**
5am wasnât early in Genesisâ world, not by any means. It still didnât mean he was in a pleasant state of mind at this time. His mood quickly soured as another driver almost slams into him during his commute to safety training, the original source of his frustrations.Â
Narrowing his eyes at the rogue driver as they attempt to give Genesis the right of way, coming close to already blowing his cover as he realizes he was conveniently coming face to face with you. âSpeak of the devil and they shall appear right?â Though he was driving ahead of you Genesis made sure to keep you within view, watching your car through the mirrors of his own. Fishing the PHS out of his pocket, Genesis calls the number saved for Tseng silently urging him to answer as he watches you in his rearview mirror. turn into a suburban area.Â
Inwardly cursing as he watches you turn into a suburban area. He got lucky coming across you so quickly, by any means Genesis was going to trail you. He needed to get this mission over with as soon as possible. Genesis wasnât a great driver, but he was a legal one. There was no wonder the wild u-turn he executed almost caused two other drivers to crash. That really wasnât his problem, focused wholly on following you as requested of him three days prior.Â
Ending the call and immediately dialing Tsengâs number again. Once more being met with voicemail, âWhat did he give me this for if he wasnât going to answer it?!â Genesis couldnât help but think about how unprofessional it was of Tseng to not pick up. Keeping in mind that the lead Turk is a busy person. Yet, Genesis was not caring if he was or not. This is urgent. Though, wasnât everything else Tseng dealt with?Â
Tossing the PHS into the center console, Genesis tails your vehicle. Maybe he couldâve done this with far more tact, only being about two car lengths away from you while tracking you to your next location. Trailing closely behind as you take him through the winding roads of this subdivision.Â
âCouldâve sworn Tseng said they were more attentive than this.â Genesis muttered under his breath as he parked in front of your neighbor's home. Scrutinizing you as he watched you walk to the door of your home and pull out a set of keys. âThereâs no way they live here.â Thinking back on your poor track record overall in life and lack of work history. Genesis canât seem to think that someone like you would be living within a twenty minute radius of himself. Whatever you were doing was clearly paying off.
The sound of the PHS ringing, jarring Genesis out of his thoughts. Swiftly grabbing the device, answering and pressing the mobile device against his face. Genesisâ voice takes on the tone of a scolding father, similar to Angeal scolding Sephiroth and Genesis for their childish behavior. âWhere were you when I called the first time? What am I to do when my assistant doesnât answer his phone?âÂ
At first Tseng didnât think much of Genesisâ words, expecting the sassy attitude out of the red haired man. Something about Genesis' words caught him off guard. Leaving an almost bitter taste in Tsengâs mouth at being referred to as his assistant. The realization of the little statement caused Tseng to stop his explanation. âI was in a meet- I donât recall a time Iâve ever ranked low enough to be your assistant.âÂ
âLow enough?!â Genesis almost couldnât believe his ears at Tsengâs insult. In reality he had no choice but to swallow his pride and accept the jab at his rank. It was no secret Tseng outranked many in Shinra due to his cushy little place at Rufusâ feet. Begrudgingly returning to the reason he called, âI found (y/n) on my way to training. Think Iâve found out where they live now. This isnât the same place you have in your files, assuming theyâve moved recently.âÂ
In an attempt to make himself less obvious, Genesis sheds his coat before stepping out of his car. Only so much could be done while approaching a stranger's home this early in the morning. The bare minimum he could accommodate was not approaching your property while practically waving a flag that screams âlook at meâ. Be discreet right? Heâs prepared for this, he thinks. Having acquired a few tools to help along the way from Scarlet the day after his meeting with Tseng. The door shut with a thud which didnât go unnoticed by the darker haired male.Â
âWhat are you doing?â Tsengâs voice had a skeptical tinge to it. He could practically hear Tseng rubbing his face in a stressed manner as heâs able to tell Genesis left his hidden spot to do who knows what. âDo not approach them at their home, we donât know what youâre getting into yet.âÂ
âAlready on it.â Genesis announced almost proudly, ignoring Tsengâs direct command as he marches up the driveway of your home. Having been waiting outside for the past fifteen minutes, he was almost sure you wouldnât be coming out any time soon. Examining his surroundings as he approaches your car, finally noticing the cameras posted around the outside of your home. He made his way up here now. No point in tucking tail and running. Advancing towards your car while surveying the area, being mindful to be sure nobody was in near to spot him.Â
âI asked what youâre doing. You can not make decisions on your own in this case. Is this not why youâre here now?âÂ
The reminder from Tseng did nothing to persuade Genesis from pulling the small stick on tracker out of his pocket. Situating himself on the ground, sliding under the side of your car just enough to secure it in place on the inner portion of your frame behind the driverâs side wheel. âIâm making a way to find them more efficiently.â Quickly rising to his feet, Genesis heads back to his own vehicle, sparing a few glances around on his way. Without hesitation Genesis settles himself back into his car and drives away.
âTseng, what you should be doing is thanking me. Thereâs now a tracker attached to their car and itâs already synced to this PHS.â The help from Scarlet comes into play. The tracker was a tiny device, hidden well enough that it shouldnât be noticed for quite some time, if at all. One thing Genesis wasnât interested in was patrolling the city in a vain attempt to find a single person. As it stands it wasnât unusual for Genesis to see you in the area, your way of driving and choice of such a loud set up would make you stand out and be memorable for anyone. He knew it was only a matter of time before you crossed paths again. The occurrence happening sooner than later was a complete stroke of luck on his part as his investigation to your last known address proved to be listed for sale.
Tseng had low faith that Genesis went completely undetected in his actions. However, he could admit that this was an advantage in two ways. One, having your location whenever you made a move. Two, knowing where you live. It was a slight surprise to Tseng that you may have moved once more, knowing you werenât even at your last place of residence for a year. âGet back to HQ, I need the tracking information shared with me as well as their address. What time was your training?âÂ
Scoffing as Genesis navigated back to the Shinra building, his hope to miss safety training almost straining his very soul. âSix a.m, mind you, itâs a quarter to six now.â His silent prayer may be answered by the goddess above. With the amount of time it would take for him to arrive combined with exchanging information with Tseng thereâs no way he would have to suffer through that for the day.Â
âWe can work around it, I can have it rescheduled for this afternoon's class.âÂ
Genesis was sure Tseng was getting a kick out of this. There was no mistaking the mirth in his voice as he made it known there were numerous time slots for these classes. âSince when did Shinra take safety seriously?â This wouldnât consist of anything but a couple of slideshows and materia introductions, so why was it so imperative that Genesis took these classes?Â
âYeah, sure whatever. Iâm on my way.â Ending the call without bothering to see if Tseng had anything left to say.Â
Hm hm, what have we got on the schedule for today?
Transactional relationship Tseng. There's stupid and not so fuckin stupid variations.

Or or or (my personal favorite)
Possibly having Chapter 4 up and Tifa+Gb!Tifa's Hc's
Nsfw. Just a funny kind of ooc thing that I've been thinking about for months. Genesis x Reader x Tseng. very very short little thing i typed in between typing other shit
"Team work makes the dream work." Genesis says as your pancaked between himself and Tseng. They were fucking you in a standing position, your weight supported by Tseng as his arms were hooked under your legs, pressing your back firmly against Genesis.
Genesis' cock invading your tight ass while Tseng bullied his length to the hilt in your pussy. Genesis assisted your weight, holding you in position by grabbing your ass.
They were going to make you cum again. After a while you weren't sure how much more you could take, but you would accept anything that was given to you. You were so fucked out you almost missed the moment Genesis offered a high-five to Tseng and he accepted. Genesis' contagious behavior rubbing off on the Turk in a way he would only allow the two of you to see.
"Agreed, especially when our work looks as good as this." Tseng remarks before trailing kisses along your neck.
What would you write for the title "Break Me"?
More toxic TsengRu in my mind for the win? Maybe. Angst, dubcon with a little fluff at the end. Well..whatever is fluffy for these two.
Like oh god. By default we know, Tseng and Rufus are....something. But what if Tseng didn't want this kind of life with Rufus? Tseng was content with their companionship but as time went on Rufus started wanting more and Tseng felt obligated to give him everything he asked for even when he truly wanted nothing more than to say no. Eventually coming to a point where Tseng's mentally broken by it but can't see his life any other way.
Tseng x Reader
Misconduct Spoiler:
'Fuck', you could hear him gasping for air. The heinous actions you performed to the man mutilated in your bathtub left him croaking in pain. Screaming for help, screaming for you.
Sure it was torture for you. Still being able to hear his dying breaths while you were a coward. Burying yourself under the cover, tucking your head beneath the pillows in a poor attempt to hide yourself from your own actions in your bedroom. The walls between the bathroom and your room did nothing to silence the sounds of the man actively dying.
And you had the nerve to cry. How for a single moment could you be so evil? Though, it wasn't for him. Every tear shedding for another selfish reason. No amount of liquor you drank before prying what you needed from the sorry soul in the bathroom would help you through what you've done. Nor would it allow you to see this through till the end.
You could end his life, why be hesitant when you've done this so many times? Kill. Dispose. Clean. You've been here numerous times. Why should who you've been torturing for the past few hours in a desperate attempt to get answers matter?
You've done everything you can to prolong his pain. Leaving him crying for the gods he never believed in.
It was heart wrenching. He was important to you, one you could imagine taking over the world with. A lifetime companion that displayed nothing but loyalty and love. You fought a lot throughout your past, an occurrence destined to happen based off of the sheer amount of time spent around each other. Growing together. No matter the disagreement. One would consider him your right hand man. Until now. Perhaps that's why it hurts so terribly. He's vowed his soul to you at one point. Now here he was, making a feeble attempt to turn you in, he should've known better.
It was pitiful, the way he had to learn that you were as ruthless and disgusting as every rumor detailed. Describing how you would stop at nothing to protect yourself and those that could easily expose you.
That was when Tseng learned too, after calling him over to help him take care of your little problem. The lengths you were willing to go through. It both entranced and repulsed him.
