hii angel 💝 i just had a question,, i was reading some of your works and i noticed that next to some of your items in the warnings it has a ‘(?)’ next to it and i was wondering what that meant lol
good question bb! so whenever i put ‘(?)’ next to something in my warnings, for example: soft!dom!rafe. it’s because i’m writing soft!dom!rafe but unsure if other people would also consider how i’m writing him (or item) to be accurate, so to put it in short; the question mark is there to pretty much leave the item or !rafe up to interpretation 🤍 i’m not the greatest at explaining things so i hope this made sense!

i’ve seen it before and i’m sorry but every time i see anything like ‘anonymous tea’ ‘anonymous celebrity story times’ it just always gives fake to me lol. while i don’t want to invalidate anyone’s experiences they may have had with someone, but the internet, let alone tumblr, is the last place i feel like anyone would talk about it on. i actually think he would love it!! she wants rafe to get the full dramatic effect so she would make him wait for her downstairs while she got ready. there’s a reason why everyone was raving about her when she first came to the island, and rafe is reminded of that when he guides her down the stairs in full glam and an outfit that makes her look like a walking felony.

how do you stay encouraged to write if a fic didn’t perform the way you wanted it to? all of my works are flopping so bad it just makes me not want to post anything ☹️
believe me when i say this; you will have your ‘flop’ moments.. it’s inevitable as a writer. i’ve said this before but i think it’s so so so important to make sure you’re writing fanfiction and creating a community of your own for the right reasons 🤍 don’t lose sight of things because you may not have received the notes or interactions you’d hoped for. if you love every piece of work you put out, and you feel that you wrote to the best of your ability, then that’s all that matters. i have works on here, especially as of lately, that i’ve written but love regardless of the lack of interactions. it’s what comes with publishing works, don’t be too hard on yourself!! just remember that you’re doing this because it’s something you enjoy doing <3

omg i would die if anyone ever made fanart of my work. i think if i saw rafe and my pogue!sweetheart!reader in art form i would actually lose all of my senses. i’m so curious to see how someone else, an artist especially, would envision that pairing and bring it to life 🥹
57.) do you prefer editing as you write, or waiting until it’s finished?
i edit as i write, ESPECIALLY the longer fics because i’m very picky and over analyzing is just a part of me that i could never shake off. i physically cannot go on with writing or finishing a fic unless everything looks perfect in my eyes. however, i’m human, and sometimes won’t catch on to mistakes i’ve written until weeks or months after i published it already 😭

absolutely no one in my personal life knows i write or read fanfiction. that’s a large part of the reason why i’m a little bit more private and haven’t done a face/voice reveal or anything. but my besties love drew and we’re all obsessed with rafe so i wouldn’t be surprised if one of them wrote or read fanfiction either lol. as for ‘would you tell anyone?’ i don’t think so tbh.. but not because i’m embarrassed or ashamed or anything like that, i just like having this little corner to myself for me only <3

this is so hard for me to answer!! i actually put a piece of myself in all of my !reader’s because it’s my way of self inserting myself into my fics lol, so i’ll go by each !reader with a quote from their description!
bambi!reader:

would you write for trans!reader?
while i want to be inclusive to everyone, i don’t think i could write for a trans!reader and do it justice :( it’s kind of the same reason why i wouldn’t write wlw, or mlm (smut wise) but fluffy works, angsty works, etc.. i think everyone could read them. i write mainly for a fem!reader with she/her pronouns just because it’s what i’m familar with <3

you’re not crazy bb! i feel so bad because i’ve gotten so many req’s to do ‘what the !reader’s smell like’ and i never answer them because i don’t have enough knowledge of different perfumes and their scents :( but i will get on fragrantica today and start looking for scent notes that align with the !reader’s and i’ll make a post for it as soon as i can 🤍
