Massages!!! Wherever your body aches most/wherever you like better. But usually on the space right under ur bellybutton; they knead on it like dough unless it hurts you too much but they try their best regardless

Bringing you comfy and big clothes (bonus if its theirs!!) so that you don’t have anything on that could make your cramps worse bc of tightness

Do you like stuffed animals bc they’ll bring you all your favorites for you to hug very tight!

Just. Generally being sweet, tender and adorable with you because they know you hate everything when you’re like this so they want you to feel okay with yourself again

If you happen to be on ur periods together they’ll be cuddling up to you 10x harder bc your presence makes them feel like themselves again if it makes them feel wrong

It's genuinely so crazy to me that there are some guys out there unaware/not very familiar with menstruation. I don't know, maybe growing up in a household full of cis women made me so comfortable around the subject (and obviously because I experience it myself every month).

But I don't know, the idea of barely being aware of it is so fascinating to me?? It's so foreign, actually. I couldn't imagine barely knowing anything about it.

This also goes back to that headcanon made up by @br1ghtestlight about Jimmy Jr. being totally clueless about it, pfffffffft.

can we PLEASE stop writing periods/menstruation as something that is an exclusively female aligned thing in fanfic?

there are other people who get periods. MEN get periods. GENDER-NONCONFORMING people get periods. not just women.

it gets kind of tiring seeing ‘period comfort for fem!reader’ or when you try to read a period comfort fic, thinking it might be gender neutral only to find out it was meant to be for female readers.

periods for a lot of people, who are not cis!women, can be very dysphoric and the fact that there is little to no writing for people who aren’t women, doesn’t help.

please, at the very least, try to be gender neutral. you don’t have to use pronouns/anything else that mentions gender when talking about periods.

nobody is asking you to rewrite all period fics to be more inclusive, but we’re just asking for women aligning people to keep us gender-nonconforming people, and men in mind when writing period fanfics.
