Oh sure! Thank you for asking! I haven't talked about that fic in quite a while hhhaha :')

I'm not sure how much you've poked around on my AO3, so I'll start from the top: My Second Verse is my 90k+ word canon-compliant xingyun relationship study. I wrote it as my very first long-fic because I wanted to explore Xingqiu and Chongyun's relationship, the ways I interpret their compatibility with each other, etc.

The overarching plot is sparked by Xingqiu receiving a request from Yae Publishing House for a sequel to his main book series. In chapter 1, Xingqiu asks Chongyun to act as his muse for his next book and Chongyun agrees (since that request is pretty vague as-is anyways.) From there the two spend a lot of time together working through their core character traits; Xingqiu is forced to realize he's a self-righteous prick, and Chongyun is forced to realize the way he lives his life suppressing his yang energy is unsustainable.

Things explored in this fic include:

What does Xingqiu value in Chongyun?

What does Chongyun value in Xingqiu?

What can these two grow to learn from a relationship with each other?

What does it mean to love someone? What does it mean to feel lonely?

It's pretty slow-burn with a few sword-fighty action scenes speckled in, but it's mostly introspective drama and alternating POV. Currently the fic is marked as "unfinished" because I had plotted a whole second half from the part where I stopped, but I've been on hiatus from this fic since I hit some severe writer's block :'''') If you're the type to only read finished fic, the fic as-is currently wraps up nicely! I've also received some feedback that the fic doesn't actually go the direction that some people thought it would, if that's something that you're into.

What is the most underrated object in the solar system in you opinion? Similarly; what’s overrated?

Hoo, that's a really tough question for me to answer!

My default answer would probably be Deimos, just bc of its potential usefulness (thanks Atomic Rockets for teaching me about that!) but tbqh... I think Triton is really underrated! The Neptunian satellite system is fascinating to me, and Triton in particular (although I maintain that it should have been named Salacia). It's literally a captured dwarf planet, and one of the densest KBO-adjacents out there. It has rainbow ice sheets and nitrogen geysers and it orbits retrograde, how can you not be fascinated by it? Its geological/cosmic history is so interesting, particularly its effects on the rest of Neptune's satellites. Proteus is visible proof that the capture of Triton destroyed the original moons of Neptune, and it's quite possible there were several objects similar in size to the Uranian or Saturnian moons beforehand that we'll never get to know. Idk, the ice giants and their satellites in general deserve more love, and Triton in particular definitely merits further study via probe.

Honestly, I think Mars is kinda overrated? Don't get me wrong: I love Mars, it's very interesting and will undoubtedly be our next great leap (not to mention it has plenty of potential as SF fodder). But I think there's a bit TOO much public focus on Mars, and not enough on the other interesting bodies of the system (like the ice giants!)

Wendy: Here are some outfits!! It was so hard to choose which ones I wanted to show you, since I have so many!! Though I usually where the same thing (for work).

Jackets and mini skirts are her favorite. Honestly this is only 1/40 of her closet. As soon as she gets her check, she'll spend it on clothes, shoes, and makeup.

🥕How tough is your OC against certain situations? How weak are they against others?

Zira has and always handle some situations with ease since she doesn’t feel anything at all. She believed that situations like this should be handled without anyone or anything holding you back. After all, she was a assassin.

But there are some situations where she was having a tough time because being vengeful was and still is part of her trait, if she knows that someone is part of group/cult then she is in for ride because it gets over her head which both parties would be gravely injured. So yeah, vengeance has been over her mind.

🍋 What is their kryptonite/ ultimate weakness?

Her weakness with her powers is something she can get over because she always have backup plans.

But the ultimate weakness will be vengeance, she spent years finding information about the cults who was responsible for her sister’s murder. As she tracks them down and slay them, one by one. Even slaying the members who work for the gods because she despises them the most since they’re the reason why her parents are dead, used them to play like puppets. She is willing to do whatever it takes, as long she get what she wanted. But sometimes, it will get over her head and might not be able win.

🍐 What is their current social standing? If they could change it, would they, and to what?

Her current social standing is being an a bounty hunter, but she is very picky when it comes to who she is working for since she was a formal spy. If she could change it, she would be probably be artist or maybe an detective. She loves doodling a lot and she always wanted to find information.

For the identifying trait of your art thing, I'd say your art is most recognizable by the shapes. Everything you draw is so shaped and I LOVE it. Especially the way you draw the turtle's mask tails, it's just 👌👌👌 and also, most of your corners are rounded and gives it this.. Idk, maybe sticker-ish vibe? I have a feeling your art would work GREAT with stickers. Honestly, just the roundness (and awesomeness ofc) :]
