Do you ever think that the reason Remus wants to be disliked is the same reason as jataro from danganronpa (that kid with the mask)? Like since Remus is hated he can practically do whatever he wants without worrying if he’s hurting everyone cuz they already hate him “this much”. If they don’t care about him he wouldn’t need to care about them which is how he likes it.
If they tell Remus they love him Remus might start to care and will won’t do some stuff and Remus doesn’t want that to happen, Remus doesn’t want to care so he makes himself as unlikeable as possible.
Maybe cuz he’s scared of loving someone back seriously (in a platonic way)
(I feel like jataro and Remus would kin each other lol)
