“Oh... kidding me.”
Louis picked himself up off the ground and frowned at the newly-formed gash on his palm. Great, lovely, exactly what he needed on the way to his first class of the day. It stung against the cold winter morning air... and so did his elbow.
Uneven pavement in the sidewalk. How do people keep their jobs, sometimes?
“Maybe investing in those horn-caps wouldn’t be a bad idea...”

Danessa was running a little late to go to the Back Ally to be with her boss, Gohin. Her nose picked up on a faint scent of blood. In her line of sight she sees a taller male deer and stopped “Are you okay??” she asked him catching her breath. She’s not used to the winters, so the cold air made it hard for her to breath while running.
“Hm?”
Though those days are long since gone, the mask wasn’t gone entirely and Louis’s fingers found themselves curling over his palm as his hand fell to his side, hiding the wound.
“Oh.” An ear flicked and the deer relaxed muscles he didn’t realise he’d tensed as he looked at the doe. “Yes, I’m alright. Nothing serious, at least.”

The girl walked up as the hybrid of the Deer and Reindeer grabbed his wrist and saw the blood and wound. Her touch was warm “Nope, you’re not and if you don’t get this clean and disinfected, you’ll be in bad shape” she smiled “Hold on I got my things for this kind of stuff” she said. Danessa’s action weren’t out of announce or enjoyment, but she takes her job serious.
It took a surprising amount of strength to keep any signs of annoyance from showing. He didn’t have the mental space to pull his hand back from the girl before she grabbed it, as he hadn’t been expecting it. Her following words only got a small huff; the nurses at Cherryton had much the same attitude, so he just resigned himself to it.
Plus, the quicker this got dealt with the better, so he wasn’t going to complain or fight back either.
“Alright,” he said with a one-shouldered shrug. “Do what you must, I guess.”
