I'm super late but I started to watch Breaking Bad and I love it. No surprise but I'm fascinated with the relationship between Jesse and Walther. At the moment I switch between shipping and father/son. I love how fucked up everything is. I'm pretty sure at the end I will enjoy both - shipping and father/son fics.
Talk to me about how waltjesse act around each other in public versus how they act around each other when they're alone, even in canon. Like they're hiding something. They're so cagey about it. Get flustered when people question it.
It's like they're both aware this is Weird, that their dynamic has a little bit of wrongness to it, and they're aware enough to feel some degree of shame about it in the eyes of other people. But when they're alone together, it's natural. This is just how they are.
