So... "We Wish You a Turtle Christmas" is a thing.

I'm only a minute in, but I'm so sleep-deprived that I almost started cackling at the aggressively '90s font used for the word "Christmas" in the title card. I can't wait to see what else it has in store.

Turtle Christmas, Rise Style

We Wish You a Turtle Christmas is living rent-free in my head, so I decided to draw the Rise turtles and Splinter in some of the scenes. First up, Splinter breaking down the 12 Days of Christmas.

Splinter, exasperated: My boys... I love you, but WHAT ON EARTH am I going to do with 12 FRAMED pepperoni pizzas, 12 "autographs" from April, 22 comics, 22 pairs of Kickies, 30 skateboards, 30 yo-yos, 36 manhole covers, 36 neckties, 40 video games, 40 chopsticks, 42 Frisbees, and 42 kimonos?! Where did you even find space to hide 364 gifts?!

Then, Leo jamming out to Deck the Halls (one of the most absurd scenes in the whole special, if you ask me).

Leo, singing: Deck de holls wit pepperoni~ Donnie: ...Nardo, why are you singing like that? Did you hit your head? Leo: *sticks a gift bow to Donnie's head* Skoodli doodli doot doo~

Mikey singing opera (also quite absurd).

Mikey, singing opera: Oh, little city of New York~ Leo: *being angry/annoyed in the background, covering his ears(?)* Donnie: *staring blankly at the ground* Raph: *ringing a bell, moved to tears by Mikey's singing* Charity Santa: May I please have my bell back?

And finally, the Wrap Rap.

Donnie: *making it rain copper (pennies) in the background* Leo, Raph, and Mikey: *doing a weird handshake/finger touch* All: WRAP RAP!

I'd love to see some of the official Rise team make a parody/otherwise dunk on this crazy part of TMNT history.
