but I have read books 1-6 out loud to my partner
(we're super early in book 7 and so I've actually never finished the series... I've been spoiled on a few things tho but not everything!)
but bruh
at the time of reading I wasn't in any fandom spaces yet
so everything happening was a SURPRISE
