When Ginny rescues Pansy from the dragon she’s soaking wet and shivering. 

“Pansy?” Ginny calls out tentatively as she swoops further into the cave on her broom. 

“Yes, I’m right here.” Pansy responds, managing to sound quite aristocratic for someone who’s been imprisoned with a dragon for several weeks. 

“Oh thank god,” Ginny breathes. She watches as a bedraggled Pansy slowly stands up from the darkest corner of the cave. She immediately notices the way she’s supporting herself on the slippery rock walls and favoring her left arm. A heavy weight fills her chest quickly followed by a burning rage. She wishes she’d had time to properly threaten the dragon before she’d sent it off to Charlie. Dropping her broom carelessly onto the mossy cave floor she runs to Pansy. 

“Took you long enough.” Pansy says haughtily. Ginny can tell from the quirk of her lips that she’s relieved.
