So has anyone ever thought of a Sandburger?

It's stupid and seriously just came into my mind right now just as the word "Sandburger", but I'm seriously wondering now if sandwiches with cheeseburger ingredients are made apart from the buns.

Or what if there was a cheeseburger with all the ingredients of a sandwich apart from the bread? Or is this like a Turtle Tortoise thing where a Tortoise is a type of Turtle, but not all turtles are tortoises. Why is the word Tortoise spelt so weird?
