2– ele perdeu a mãe quando tinha 11 anos porque seu pai estava muito bêbado e foi atrás da mãe de duncan para resolver algumas coisas com ela enquanto ela ia buscar duncan na escola, então a mãe e o pai de duncan acabaram brigando intensamente que chegou ao ponto em que o pai de duncan espancou sua mãe até a morte, e algumas pessoas testemunharam isso e chamaram a polícia, então o pai de duncan foi preso, e a avó materna de duncan teve muitos problemas de saúde e não conseguiu cuidar dele, então duncan acabou em um lar adotivo
