I just chalked it up to none of the girls having generally good lives. Stella, Musa, and Aisha are obvious when it comes to their parents, Bloom was canonically bullied by Mitzi for years on end till Alfea, Tecna's parents were retconned cause the people of Zenith didn't like to share what they were feelingvor any type of emotion and in season 7 Flora's pretty distant towards her mother and gives off parentified child vibes.
