Fun facts about wolves that I find super interesting!!
1. Wolf pups are born deaf and blind, and weigh 1 pound.
Super cute, they're so small! By 2 weeks their eyes open and by the time they're 6 months old they're nearly as big as the adults!
2. Wolves can hear things up to 10 miles away
Now this is only under certain circumstances. They can hear the best on the open tundra, and in the forest they can hear things up to six miles away. Woah!!
3. Wolves don't pose a threat to human safety
Even in wolf country, you are more likely to be killed by a bee sting than a wolf. :3
Bonus fun fact for wolf lovers:
The Czechoslovakian Vlcak, also known as a Czechoskovakian wolf dog, is the closest relative to a wolf as it was bred by crossbreeding German Shepherds and Carpathian Grey wolves.
