Fuck I love being a werewolf.

I love not being human nor wolf, but rather a wolf-like creature that can pass as human. There's just something so special about that to me. To literally be another species, but still be able to blend in when I need to. To be known as the "wolf girl" in my family, yet having none of them suspect a thing. Being able to smoothly and silently trot under the radar of humanity, yet at the same time have the instincts and abilities of something not human at all.

I love what I am, I wouldn’t change it for anything or anyone. No matter what.

anyone else think rainy days bring so much comfort to your soul? I don't know what it is, but it just pouring outside endlessly makes the canine in me feel so at peace and calm. i love rain

Canine Tears -

I miss the snow like I miss air when I'm underwater.

I miss my paws like I miss my feet on the ground during a long car-trip.

I miss the forest like I miss home when I'm away.

I miss my tail like I miss a smile during tears.

How long until I can breath again?

Will I ever be able to rest?

How long must I be homesick?

Will my tears ever dry?

When I say "connect with nature" I don't just mean the aesthetic forests with deer and beautiful flowers.

I mean the weeds growing through concrete, the fungus that grows on the rotten shed, the nettles that always seem to return and the scary, spindly cellar spider in the corner of the bathroom.

Nature is not always pretty or magical - the pigeons and seagulls you swat at are nature too, the wasps and flies that hover by your meals are animals too, store-bought strawberries and the leaves that fall from your neighbour's tree are not all that different from the Giant Sequoias and it's seeds.

If you want to connect and understand nature, I mean *really* connect to it, in it's entirety, you have to seek out and learn about the ugly, scary and mundane things as well. You don't have to like it, just don't forget that it's there.

I can't describe the surge of energy I get every time I look up at the night sky and see the stars or the moon look down at me.

That is my taileg, good sir. I don't have a tail but my brain still needs to release the energy and emotions somehow, so the signal goes to one of my feet instead, making it wag. No, I can't stop it, I've tried. Just look away if it bothers you.
