Sometimes I like to write my thoughts, I'm unsure if this counts as poetry though.

can you tell I like cannibalism as a metaphor for love

And there she was, sitting on the floor, her tears flowing, thinking about everything everyone told her all those times she defended her beloved’s lack of attention because she slowly realized it was all true. It hurt her that it was with the only person she truly fell in love with, so she was destroyed. The shadow of her insecurities was overtaking her glow; those sweet chocolate eyes that once looked at her with warmth now had an ice-cold stare, an empty look with no sentiment. SMLG.
