let me tell you guys something that ACTUALLY happened in my screenwriting class last week
one of the female writers in our class is writing a feature about this gang of teenage girls who sort of become vigilantes and murder men who harass women (thatâs a shitty logline of it but itâs actually fucking awesome and highly stylized and over-exaggerated like tarantino in a good way bc i fucking hate tarantino). ANYWAY their first kill is this guy named taylor. taylor is one of the girlâs boyfriends. it is heavily implied and the writer confirmed that he abuses and rapes her. not explicitly seen, but she has bruises, there are scenes implying it etc.
so. she wrote the part where they kill taylor. and one of my professorâs comments was about how he felt like he didnât hate taylor enough.
to which me and my female friend were like um what?? we hate him. he fucking raped and abused her. wE HATE HIM. HE IS A HORRIBLE PERSON.
and my prof was like well yeah i hate him but i donât HATE hate him. and we argued about it. so he took a poll of who hated taylor. ALL of the girls in the class raised their hands. none of the boys did. when he asked who didnât hate taylor all of the men raised their hands. and me and my friend started laughing because of COURSE they did.
and my prof was like why are you laughing and the writer was like âi think theyâre laughing at the gender difference in that answerâ and my prof was like âwell, from my male perspective, i donât think iâm being sexistâ

and then my prof went on to say âi feel like we need to see taylor be horrible. like bad solution, he kicks a dogâ

Anyway, fuck them, I can't stand them đ¤

i feel the same way! i was attacked by an blink/once for posting something about bts on my insta! they sent me a death threat and told me that bts is trash and that i should kill myself for liking them. i know itâs a non-army, but seriously? like what you like, and i like what i like! iâve slowly drifted away from the bts fandom because of people like that, and am more of a once/blink/exoL/carat/reveluv! people like this make me ashamed for liking kpop, i swear ...
Hands down the main reason I become less and less of an army is the fandom.
Many of them are immature, totally new to Kpop (so don't know how to respect to senior groups and stuff), hateful and think BTS is the one and only true kpop group chosen by God himself.
They brag in every comment section and tell you what *insert any random Kpop group* hasn't achieved in comparison to BTS. They put your favorites down in order to let them shine even more.
And Im so sick of it! If it's a post about idk EXO, SuperM, Stray Kids and your comment is not about one of them then don't comment! It's so simple!
