About WTTW. I know it's been two months now, and with the recent news about one of the BBAU mod creators, I have considered how I would do things going forward.

The good news: I'm still writing WTTW. I'm still going to finish it.

The bad news: ... As originally intended, despite who's in it.

The reason is: I'm in so deep with the story now, with Billy and Denied being integral main characters, that it would feel cheap and low-quality writing to get rid of them. That and the current set up with Gonzalo, and... Killing them all off just isn't possible.

The victim has stated that we don't have to stop making Billter-related stuff, but it's completely understandable to do so anyway. In my opinion, it's just as okay to separate the characters from the creator. Reclaim them, even. Waiting a while to do so is also understandable and fine. At the end of the day, it's up to you; do what feels right!

In this case, I'm not worried about the update pace. It'll be ready when it's ready.

But since it's been a long time, perhaps I could offer a preview or two? It'll be below the Keep Reading.

Maybe it was/wasn't obvious but yeah, Denied's back. Aldurra not giving up the vest is due to him being too stubborn to get something else, and also me not knowing what to give him to begin with.

Billy gets a new house! Meta-speaking, it was the last thing he had left that was from his original game. You could say he's now completely severed from that. It's a bit ironic, but this was already a planned thing.

This is all I can share for now, but as a bonus, here's a silly drawing I made when I saw that one chair meme:

Since Lithuanians celebrate Christmas on the Eve, I just imagined how Dave would do so, considering Billy (And his family's big so it's a whole thing).

Meanwhile Dia and Spike just scream about having two Christmases.

Danikoshi your opinion is very correct, everyone please read Roxy’s “Welcome to The Webspace,” it has very cool BBAU interpretation and much tragic yaoi. WTTW should be a picture book.

Guys, this new Roxyteal/Radrapo fic is so fire, I think you should all read it. I’m actually going through 5 stages of grief with it. The stakes aren’t even that high! It’s just character drama on relapsing, but WOW, the way Roxy writes it hits so close to home 😭

New Leaf Pro Design QRs - Billter Edition! Codes below.

Let's start with Billy. This takes influence from my personal design of his outfit (sweater collar matches in color, white shirt sleeves at the ends, dark backside with decorative buckle), but surprisingly, all 12 argyle diamonds made it in. Was not expecting that!!

Next, we'll venture into the submarine in the ocean, where his father Bob is! Funfact, while looking at his sprite, I noticed that Billter didn't remove the black tie.

So canonically you could say he has both it and the bow (I decided not to). Had to sacrifice one (1) button, but oh well.

Onto the sailors! I referenced Lithuanian naval uniforms:

And changed the colors so that it was more like the tones used in the game, producing this look.

Then realized I fucked up on Gonzalo's and had to change his to reflect his captain status (four 1/2 inch stripes, not two). Accidentally made him a Lieutenant for a hot second, my bad. I also initially tried using the 12 buttons like in the above reference, but it looked too silly and had to downgrade to the 8. And lastly it wouldn't be Gonzalo without his caplet (or are they shoulder pads? Who knows, it is a mystery)!

Finally, deep in that abyss, is a creachure. Denied!! This one's a lot more cut and dry. My only real comment is that I decided to make the left sleeve more... Tied off? Hard to show with Animal Crossing designs but ah well.

I like the Denied one shots. They’re my bedtime stories. It’s 1AM in Philippines. They are good stories. To be honest last time I read your work was chapter 6 of WTTW so reading the super new stuff is so cool. As someone who didn’t watch you grow slowly, the sudden jump in quality is so cool. Good stories 👍 I thought they’d be bedtime stories but they made me excited. So now I’m walking around my house aimlessly. Good 👍👍👍

Chapter 6... @cornedbread I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but things get crazy later on! Very!! I know it's many many many more chapters and words to go through, so if you ever find the time to catch up (I recommend not all at once, this is not a binge-able story), I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

Okay, I want to remind you the last time I read WTTW was Chapter 6. So imagine the way my eyes lit up when I saw that you rewrote Vol. 1 I’m going crazy, I love the new modern formatting. I’m so happy you rewrote it. Wow, okay, I will write a lengthy review later, wow.

Aw, thanks! It was only the first chapter (the rest are still the same). I still am trying to expand on chapter 2 though, because it's too short for me. It'll be part of its final update alongside the epilogue. Idk when it'll be out, though.

Oh also, all that Denied propaganda is getting to me now. I read 4 chapters of Denied propaganda now I’m jumping for glee when I get to see Denied be respected as an intelligent adult shark man. I like this interpretation, this is good. Good for Billy too cause he needs someone like this.

No matter what timeline you’re in, it is a rule that Billy will always abandon his romantic partners when faced with his own flaws (side-eyes Bido, Billfriend, Beershine, amen to Wellchair nation, we are eating good).

He installed the un-cripple mod. I find it really interesting that he had amnesia and forgot all his lore (memory) after the robot operation. Was that a side-effect or a yearn to supress trauma?

Chapter 2

They said prison for all Alex kinnies and into the slammer he goes. Also, there was an event in the Onceler fandom where a casserole was also used as a bargaining tool… (mind wanders)

So I got inspired by @cornedbread 's idea that every Le has a unique tie, as well as the argyle thing possibly being a uniform. And then this happened.

He has an ascot.

Other details:

The sweater is a vest. Both it and the shirt are tailor-made, so there's no extra sleeve

Hair is neater with no hat

He desperately wants to turn the pants into shorts, and the shirt into a tee

I debated between pink, blue, and yellow-green. Blue is too close to Billy (teal), and yellow-green stood out too much. So he gets The Pink

Hi! I saw your post on your live reaction, and I appreciate it a lot! I'd like to offer one clarification though, and hopefully it'll make sense.

Okay so in the universe of WTTW, the BBAU people are still games, just like here. Every download makes a copy. So there exists an X amount of copies of each game at any given time. It's just that players (humans, us!) added the programming needed for them to be able to decide their own fates, regardless of what canon or prior programming has told them to have.

If you have a copy of Billy's Basics or Joe's Basics, that's yours out of hundreds or thousands of others. The only other place they can exist outside of their games, the player's host computer, is the Internet, referred to as "going Online".

So when Aldurra mentions not having seen a Billy in ages, he's referring to others that exist on other websites, all of which take on more physical forms that these guys can inhabit. Each Billy is different, too - some are with Girlfriend, some aren't very serious, a few are organic and not robotic/a cyborg (very rare Billy trait), and so on. It just so happens that the Webspace's Billy is the way he is.

(And just to be clear, only the Webspace's Billy is a hivemind - those on other websites are still their own Billys living their well-made, digital lives independent of each other)

Alex and Aldurra are both Alexes, but are also different. Dave 1 (You'll see him later!) and Dave 82, as well.

The same principle lies with all other game types, as well. You could absolutely say that every copy is personalized.

Thank you very much for all the info!! This clears up alot of confusion. I like this explanation even more because it connects nicely with WTTW: Coral’s Glory’s story. Orange-san pointed out that because of the “personalised” aspect in WTTW, that means ALL of the different fanon’s interpretations could be connected to eachother if the characters just stepped out of their timeline… Hehe…

What if I just... Made a sideblog. Disable third-party sharing. And use it to dump information on WTTW. Like a wiki. But not a wiki. That could be fun.

It'd be a good resource to keep all of it together. Like that one single instance where it was mentioned that Billy liked Star Trek and that literally never came up again.

Or how despite writing that one tangental bit of l o r e, Gonzalo has not once spoken Spanish the entire story (and by this point, probably never will).

Wait why does Alex hate humans. I forgot...
