" agatha's features brighten as she's given the okay, moving closer to the anaconda and squatting down beside her, gently running her fingers over the top of her head. after letting the snake investigate her hand, the faerie moves to sit more comfortably, holding the snake's head in her hand. she looks back toward trevor. " w-what's her name? "

when they asked if she'd like to accompany them to the upcoming livestock auction, of course agatha was excited and agreed. it meant she'd get to see cute animals! she called her boss and asked for the day off, which he happily obliged. she got ready for the day and met trevor there after he texted her the address, parking her car and walking up to him, her eyes sparkling as she smiles big and wide.

" i-i've n-never been to something l-like this before, b-b-but i-i'm so excited! we get to s-s-see so m-many cute animals!! " she was glad trevor was just, if not more so, eager as she is to see them all, her smile growing when they take her hand and lead her to the different areas where people were selling their animals. agatha squeezes their hand, feeling glad they're holding it. it was nice and grounding, helping to distract her from the large crowds of people and overlapping chatter and animal sounds. looking around, she gasps and tugs him toward where someone was selling pigs. " aww, l-look at these pigs!! a-aren't they adorable? "

she knew developing feelings for trevor was... well, not stupid, but probably not the best idea. they're friends, after all. really good friends, and agatha doesn't want to drive a stake through that. she doesn't want to ruin it. and yet here she is, in their arms (those strong, safe arms), their lips barely an inch apart. both were a little tipsy and had gotten a cab back to her house, laughing as she struggled to even unlock her door and get it open. she stumbles and is caught by trevor, helping her steady herself.

agatha gazes up at them, suddenly feeling sober. " i-i think— um, i should— " " i think you should kiss me. "

her heart skips a beat the second their words register. her cheeks flush hotly, a warm, light shade of green spreading across her cheeks and to the points of her ears. " k-kiss— kiss you? " she knows she heard trevor right, and yet she can't help believe it. is she dreaming? is this just something she's imagining? agatha can't be sure, but... at least she can be honest about her feelings, right? regardless of whether this is a dream or not.

" i-i-i— i've w-wanted to... to k-kiss you for a little while now. " agatha whispers, her shimmering gaze drifting over their features, lowering to their lips before flickering back up to their eyes. those sweet, kind eyes. a hand comes up, cupping their jaw before moving to their nape to pull trevor down, her lips grazing theirs. she hesitates only half a second more before capturing their lips with her own, her other hand clinging to their sleeve as they kiss.

the faerie doesn't know how else to describe it, other than it feels as though the world has slowed to a crawl, letting the two have their moment. it's wonderful and beautiful and more. it's better than she even dreamt. but of course, she has to come up for air eventually, panting softly as her hold on trevor's sleeve tightens. " t-trevor? w-what if you stayed the night? "

He enjoys the fact his body clock wakes himself up quite early, before his beloved even begins to stir. Once breakfast has been prepared, does he sneak back into room, falling fond at the sight of sleepy eyes blinking at him from under the covers. “Good morning,” he whispers, unable to help himself from climbing back in. “I made ya some crepes. I may have eaten a good chunk of them, but there’s still some there.” He teases.

it isn't trevor waking up and getting out of bed that causes her to stir, rather the smell of food. it smells sweet and delightful, but isn't quite enough to entice her out from under the warm covers just yet. agatha gets comfortable again, hugging her pillows as she dozes back off into a light sleep, waking again but now to the feeling of the bed shifting and the blankets being moved. her eyes flutter open finally, a sleepy smile forming on her lips as she sees trevor. gods, what a joy it is to wake up to him in the morning.

" g-good morning to you, too. " agatha hums, leaning in the kiss his nose, snuggling closer to him. " i-i thought i s-smelled breakfast. i-it s-smells really g-good, of course. " she doesn't want him to think it smelled terrible, though she doubts he would've eaten any if it had. hearing he did so draws a giggle out of her. " i-i see how it is. make them, e-eat most of them a-and j-just leave a handful for me? " agatha is just teasing of course, leaning in to kiss him after doing so. " are you too full to— t-to share a p-plate with me? "

a soft laugh leaves soryn and he gives an understanding nod. it seemed traffic could be hell in certain places regardless of what time it was. but that was okay since he was forgiving of his tardiness for their date. it was rare for the demon to meet at someones' home, but... gabe gave him a really good feeling when he saw his profile and when they started talking via messages. while he isn't inherently distrustful of humans, it was nice to feel that he could right off the bat.

" no, no, you said it correctly. " his smile grows as he nods. rarely has a first date ever asked if they were pronouncing his name right. then again, he wasn't just like some people, was he? gabe was thoughtful and considerate, even for someone re-entering the dating scene after having been out of it for some time. he made that fairly clear on his profile and soryn was understanding of that. a little surprised, maybe, but understanding regardless.

" why thank you! i get that a lot, actually, but it's still flattering to hear. " there are hardly any compliments that are too old or cheesy for him. of course he does hear that little stammer, but he wouldn't ever point something like that out, though it doesn't stop a hint of amusement from creeping into his smile. when gabe allows him inside, his gaze travels over the interior. " you have a really lovely place here, gabe. it's so warm, cozy and inviting. " if soryn ever considered moving out of his apartment, he might look into a house like this, though maybe a little smaller if he was still living on his own.
