having a job that isn't as demanding as hayden's means she's usually home before he is. she could get the penthouse a bit cleaned up (because agatha felt it was good to come back to a neat and tidy home), dinner cooked, and anything else that really needed doing. given everything he's done for her, and continues to do, agatha only felt it was fair, even when he would argue otherwise. there are things she enjoys doing, and one of them is making hayden happy.

the second she hears his keys as he unlocks the door, she's there to greet him. kissing hayden, she takes his coat from him and hangs it up, taking his keys and placing it in the candy bowl by the door. before agatha can ask how his day was, his arm was around her waist and his lips were planted against hers. agatha's arms drape themselves over his shoulders and her fingers lace together behind hayden's head. a loving smile forms on her lips as she pulls away, gazing up at him.

" y-you w-were on my mind a-all day, too. " she says, her voice soft. one of her hands move and she cups his cheek, caressing his skin. " i— i-i'd a-ask if you were hungry, s-since i did m-m-make d-dinner, but... something t-tells me you'd rather have d-dessert f-first. " agatha giggles and stands on the tips of her toes to kiss him once more. she pulls away, only slightly this time, lips grazing hayden's when she speaks again. " show me h-how much you missed me? p-please? "

subtle smut sentence starters / accepting!

his words make the faerie's heart flutter against her ribs and her arms slip away after being around his neck, a hand making its way into one of his. she tugs him back toward their bedroom and leaves him there in the space between the doorway and the bed. standing on her toes, she plants a kiss to his jaw, gazing lovingly at him as she moves away and begins to undress for him, tossing her clothes aside. agatha can see his gaze traveling lower and lower until she's fully nude. she used to hate being stared at, but that was before meeting simon and johnny. it was before she'd known how good it felt to be stared at in longing or in desire, the latter of which he does now.

agatha's smile grows a bit and she moves to sit on the bed, leaning back slightly against one hand. " i couldn't stop thinking about you while you were away, johnny. you were on my mind so much that i just couldn't help but touch myself to my thoughts of you. " she softly tells him, gazing up at him in need as she moves her legs apart. her free hand travels down and she spreads herself for him to show how wet she is. " does this show how much i've missed you? because i've missed you so much, johnny. i need you so bad. "

" um... w-well... " agatha rubs her neck, leaning back against her broken down car. she smiles sheepishly up at him. " no? i-i-i mean, i-if y-you're here, surely there are o-other people around right? i-i mean, i can't— i-i c-can't be s-stranded in the middle of nowhere with n-no one who can possibly help me. " why did this have to happen? all agatha wanted to do was go on a road trip! it doesn't make sense for there to be no one else here.

agatha takes out her phone again. still no service. she groans. she can't even call for a tow truck or anything! she sighs heavily, stuffing her phone back into her pocket before massaging her temples. " come on, th-there h-has to be something i can do to— t-to g-get out of here. "

"hey … did you hear that ?" (from jovie, for agatha!)

okay, so maybe wandering through some abandoned building at night was not a good idea. it was jovie's fault for making it sound so appealing! now the faerie has an iron grip on the other's jacket sleeve and has not let go since they entered the building. she wasn't just afraid, she also didn't want to lose sight of her companion. she didn't want to possibly make her uncomfortable by making them hold hands, so she opted for the hold on her sleeve. it just makes agatha feel better this way.

that was, until the strange sound they both very clearly heard when they perked up at the same time, looking in the same direction it came from.

" i-i did, yeah... " the last word leaves her lips in a slight whine, her hold on jovie's sleeve tightening, her knuckles turning even whiter. agatha inches closer toward her, almost right up against her. now she definitely feels afraid. " c-come on, jovie, i-i-i— i think w-we should go. "

" i appreciate that very much, nnoitra, truly. thank you. " agatha's smile grows, the corners of her eyes crinkle. she was happy to have someone like him in her life, even when she's never called on him for anything like that. he's always been such an amazing friend to her, and she's certain, if this date ends well (which agatha believes it will), he'll also be an amazing boyfriend. she's positive she'll always feel especially safe at his side.

agatha thinks for a moment, head tilting slightly. " i doubt you'd need me at your side to feel safe, i know i'm not exactly imposing, but if you ever need to walk somewhere and want some company, you're always welcome to send a text or call! i'd be more than happy to accompany you anywhere. " she tells nnoitra, her smile growing. that is, of course, if she isn't always busy. she giggles then. " i suppose i could also drive you wherever you needed to go, too, but i know my car is a bit small. " maybe agatha could look into getting a different car? it's certainly something to consider. she always thought a small truck might be nice.

she glances at her phone, looking at the lockscreen. seeing the time makes her visibly perk up more. " it looks like it might be a nice time to finish here and head to the movie theater. " she nods eagerly, folding her hands atop the table, kicking her legs a little. agatha would very much love to see a movie with him today. it'd be a nice way to finish their first date, right? that's what she thinks, at least. " that is, unless you'd like to take a raincheck on the movie? the weather is nice and since the sun has set, it'll have cooled off, too, so maybe we could take a walk instead. " she offers, her smile growing once again. there's always another time for movies!

He didn't mind that she'd been scared of him at first ( or at least intimidated by him ). He WANTED to be intimidating. He would never be friendly for no reason, but he wasn't going to display aggression towards someone who didn't bring that out of him ( it was very easy to make him aggressive though ). He chuckled to her "woman's tuition" comment. Considering how man times he'd been called a misogynist... Her woman's tuition might be off. Not that he'd tell her that. Why call himself out?

When she said she wasn't afraid of much these days - He was surprised. He wondered how it was possible to be that physically weak without being scared. Being defenceless... It was one of his nightmares. Feeling weak was the WORST, which was why he hated being sick.

She was afraid ( or at least made uncomfortable ) of guys who wouldn't take no for an answer. Nnoitra knew that no such guy would dare approach her as long as she was with him. Maybe someone who was shit-faced drunk. They'd soon fucking regret it. The last thing Nnoitra would allow was someone hitting on his girl.

❝ Ya can call me. ❞ He said, reassuring her. ❝ Or if ya know yer gonna be walkin' somewhere alone, ya can lemme know, 'n I'mma come walk ya. ❞ Unless he was busy at work. Protecting her was pretty much the ONE service he could offer in a relationship, so of course he was eager to do that. He needed to be needed. Otherwise there was no point, right? Otherwise he was just fucking useless.

agatha walks along the edge, bending down every so often to pick up a shell, clean it off in the water, and gently place it into the bottom of her bag. she likes doing this on days when there are either so few people here, or none at all. no one bothered her this way and she didn't have to worry about anyone else picking up shells as well. the faerie would clean this off more thoroughly when she got home and add them to her collection. given almost no one was on the beach today, she really assumed she wouldn't run into someone before heading home, but it seems that won't be the case. and it isn't just a someone she runs into, but he seems to be a mermaid! agatha can only stop and stare in surprise for a moment.

and then he speaks and it's like a song that draws her in, but something causes a spike in her anxiety and agatha falters. she eyes him, then the water and swallows the lump in her throat. " i— i-i'm sorry, i-i'm a-afraid of the water. " she admits timidly, staying where she stands. that, and if legend is true, mermaids drag unsuspecting victims into the depths to their death, and agatha isn't keen on that happening.

What was supposed to be a secluded area that he could sunbathe in peace as the waves came close enough to keep his tail from drying out was interrupted by sound of movement. Siren's have stronger hearing than one might think, above that of a humans. Head tilts over his shoulder, eyes open and slit pupils watching figure of @fiorserpen come into view. Well, he has no time to slink back into deeper parts of water, might as well pretend to have beached somehow to earn the trust and sympathy of another. How rotten of him, going straight for trickery. ❝ Please do not be afraid . . . I mean no harm. I am simply a little out of my depth here. ❞

" did you know it's bad to eat raw flour? " agatha asks while licking cake batter off of a spatula.

" now that it's basically fall, we can get pumpkin spice lattes, right? "

“Get me a glass of bourbon.” (Shiro)

" of course, babe. " she smiles, bending down to kiss his cheek after he sits on the couch. the faerie moves to their small liquor cabinet and pours out a glass of bourbon, bringing it to shiro. " here. i'll get the first aid kit and we'll tend to your knuckles. " stepping away, she retrieves the kit from the vanity in the bathroom, bringing a chair in from the kitchen and sitting across from him. gently agatha cleans the broken skin with a cotton pad soaked in alcohol. she applies a salve to his injuries and wraps bandages around his hands, humming as she does this with both of shiro's hands. once the bandages were secure, agatha smiles and kisses his bandaged knuckles. " there we go, my love. are they starting to feel better? "

the faerie's breath hitches when he says her name so sternly and she quickly looks up at him. lips purse and she straightens up a bit. yeah... maybe sticking her tongue out at those men wasn't the best idea. still, they're grown men, right? surely they could handle a child sticking their tongue out at them. maybe that was just agatha's opinion, though. she swallows and gives a quick nod. " y-yes, sir. " she thinks, and her expression reflects that as her head tilts. " why, though? i-i haven't hurt them. "

THE MEN SEEMED TO HAVE UNDERSTOOD . their defiant scowls shown & attempted to be masked after the act of the young one . his gaze does not waver from the group , but he still has a habit of making sure she understood herself . ❝ agatha . ❞ the vampire spoke in a stern voice , red hues sliding down to her . ❝ you cannot hide behind me forever ; choose your battles wisely . those pathetic dogs would have torn you apart if they did not know who you were associated with . ❞

when he ruffles her hair, then a smile forms on the little faerie's lips. she watches as he emerges from the wall, fully formed and more human in appearance again. " m-murdered? " she stammers out, smile faltering. admittedly, she doesn't yet understand the full scope of his abilities and that it'd take a lot to kill him, or some special method to do so. his level of power is beyond agatha. there's too much to try and comprehend! still, she nods in response to his sage advice. " i understand, dad. i-i'll try to be strong and stand my ground next time. " though, could she? or would she keep running to alucard? probably. he's the one who's taken the most care of her, like a father. he's the one she feels the safest around. why wouldn't she run to him when she's afraid or being threatened?

HER CURISOITY WAS ONLY BOUND TO BLOOM . she was getting older , wiser now with the schooling the hellsing organization had to offer . she was slowly excelling , but remained childlike . perhaps that was why the hand on her head ruffled her hair gently . [ a silent message that she was safe & protected . ] stepping out from the wall fully , presence fully formed instead of shadows & eyes , the vampire smiles at her softly . ❝ humans can be cruel to things they do not know , or who they do not know . you would be surprised with how often i've been murdered ~ . ❞ he laughed lightly at his own humor , finding such occurrence enjoyable than something shocking . ❝ if they see a slimmer of weakness , they will strike . know this . ❞

" what? would i— what? "

" —oh, that makes me remember! " agatha quickly finishes a stone out of her pocket and holds it out for her to see. it wasn't shiny but it was completely smooth, about the diameter of a golf ball but squat enough for it to be comfortable in her pocket. " i think it's some form of metamorphic rock, like phyllite or gneiss! "

   “no  one  offers  to  show  me  a  cool  rock  they  found  anymore.”  a  soft  frown  crosses  her  lips.  “adulthood  is  dumb.”

wait, what? " what do you mean? i don't even know what you said before! " how is she supposed to know she doesn't count? oh, she can just feel that headache getting worse now. thank god for the topic change. " it's... fine, i guess. " agatha says, gathering her things and heading out of the shop, locking the door behind her. " i still have to live in secret, but i suppose that's the price i have to pay to do the things i want. "

"AWW COME ON! You're a faerie you don't count for what I was talking about!" Wait, let him think on that more. "Maybe." Bad idea to let him think on it. "Say, what's it like living among the humans hm?"

the faerie can't help but pout now. " june, you know i forget things easily. " still, she's very glad she likes the rock. " you can keep it, if you want! if it is what i think it is, it's some gneiss for my nice girlfriend. " don't ask her, june. no, she couldn't help herself and the cheeky smile on her face is evidence enough of that.

   “wait…  you  had  a  rock  on  you  this  whole  time  and  you  weren't  gonna  show  me?”  june  takes  it  from  agatha,  running  fingers  over  it.  smooth.  almost  perfectly  so.  it  is  quite  amazing,  she'll  admit.  “you  shouldn't  have  hid  it  from  me!  i  like  cool  rocks.”

the faerie's hands move away slightly. " hey, it's okay... i'm not going to hurt you. " she tells it, her voice soft and gentle. she continues to reach out, fingers coming in contact with its face now. she smiles now, fingers moving over its smooth skin. " you're quite the interesting creature, aren't you? "

   hisses  softly.

agatha gasps softly, gaze flickering up to the siren. she stands there in stunned silence for a moment before her brain finally registered what he said to her. " o-oh, yes! " she smiles and moves closer, the water up to her knees now as she bends down to offer what she'd been washing off after finding it. it was a beautiful and almost perfectly intact queen conch shell. agatha had hoped to maybe keep it for herself, but... " w-would you like to— t-to h-have it? "

❝ What's that ? ❞ The siren pops his head up out of the water and speaks softly to the other. There's a curious glint in his gaze as those pale blue eyes stay trained on what @fiorserpen holds. He's curious, too curious to fit in with the average siren but that's because he's not just a siren ( one parent being a normal merfolk after all ). ❝ can Dew see ? ❞

the faerie blinks. once, twice, three times. did she hear him right? " m-m-marriage? " oh. oh. she didn't expect to be told that at all! then again, it's not exactly like she's well versed stories revolving around mermaids or sirens, therefore she has no knowledge of traditions and such. and agatha didn't even know they existed! talk about a lot of information all at once in a very short span of time. " w-well— " she swallows, her cheeks flushing a deep green as her heart flutters against her ribs. oh, boy. oh, boy. " you are v-very beautiful, b-but... um, i just— w-well, i thought this would just be a g-gift. " agatha admits with a sheepish laugh. " b-but i-i-i'm not saying no!! i think... i mean, f-for me, i-i like to get to know someone before taking such a leap w-with that person. so, i-i'm not saying no, it's just i'd prefer to— t-to g-get to know you first. " she tells the siren with a warm smile. " w-we can start with names! i'm agatha, agatha hase. s-since i can tell y-you're a s-s-siren, i feel that... i-i can share that i'm a faerie. "

It would seem he stunned her, then again maybe it was simply his beauty that stunned her like it did ( that vainness that comes with being half siren appears in his mind all the time as it is just some of his nature ). Curiously, he looks to see what she was offering and then his pale blue eyes are growing wide when he sees just what it is and how she offers for him to have it. His gaze snaps to hers and he knows she wouldn't know the gravity of what she just asked of him but he knows and feels a swell of warmth in his chest ( and in his cheeks as well for that matter ). She seems like a good soul just from the way she treated him already. ❝ Dew accepts . . . Dew will cherish this shell for the rest of his life but you should keep it safe for Dew . . . But Dew feels you should know that this is the equivalent of marriage to our kind. ❞ He almost sounds shy as he utters that last bit. ❝ did dew's beauty make you want to be with me forever from one glance ? ❞

she hums to herself as she works around the house. doing laundry, cleaning the floors, dusting surfaces, taking care of dishes. it felt good to have that boost of energy so she could take care of things here. with the good day she had at work, agatha was especially in high spirits, more so when muri passed by and kissed her. she stops, her cheeks flushing.
