I’m going to make a compilation video of the Five Eunuchs’ behind the scenes shenanigans at some point, but for now, enjoy the sword one! 🗡️

I do find it amusing that at least 3/5ths of the Five Eunuch’s actors got ghostly or undead lipstick in other roles (twice in Yang Chaoran’s case, since he’s Happy Ghost and… grumpy ghost? Ah, I really need to watch A Group of Guiguzi). The middle two are even matching with dyed grey hair.

Almost forgot, there’s possibly a second one for Li Junxian. I think. Not sure about the context, but the makeup looks great

A mirror between eunuchs and ghosts

I was just skimming this show for Happy Ghost’s actor, hoping he might interact with Beauty Ghost once or twice. I didn’t expect to be emotionally devastated and compelled by his tragic relationship with a puppy-dog-eyed arsonist, but here we are.

(They interacted once. Beauty Ghost whacked him.)
