I’m curious on your opinion for something. So I’m trying to come up with symbols for both shigaraki and dabi. dabi is pretty easy in that I can use fire for his symbol but I’m struggling to think of anything for shigaraki other than like a hand or something. do you have any ideas for symbols that can be used to represent shig?
When I make things with iconography for them both, I use staples to represent Dabi and cracks to represent Shigaraki
(And mulberries represent "I will not survive you")
They could have made Twice's character even more dramatic now that I think about it.

What if when he's firing in Deika he breaks his arms and he turns into a puddle? He was right, he was right, he wasn't the real him, he was just a clone, and he finds out only when he's melting over Toga's body while trying to help her because she's his best friend ans she deserves so much better from this world, and he couldn't have helped her since the start because he wasn't a real people, he was just the copy of himself and everything he's done since that moment was simply an automa trying to emulate human behaviour.
And after all of that, there's like a cut to another part of Japan, in a shitty apartment, and we see the real Jin doing something mundane and without any connection to the League and suddenly, suddenly the voice in his head that has been tormenting him since the incident disappears with the melting of the copy he didn't know was still wandering around.
And now I hurt.
People what's your standard English typo? Because mine si "suddenTly" even tho there is no T in the word and I'm perfectly aware of it. And I still type it. Yep.

My Roman Empire is the fact that Aziraphale said “I need you”. I know we’ve dissected it enough on here, but I think about it every day. It was his final impulse, his last cry to get him to stay.
He could’ve said “I want you”
He could’ve said “I like you”
He could’ve said “I love you, I’ve always loved you”
But he didn’t. And what he did say was so much more heartwrenching than any of those things could’ve been. He said “I need you!!”
He said I don’t just want or like or love you. I have never been without you, and I don’t know how to do this on my own, because no matter what has happened to me, you’ve always been there. I simply cannot do this without my other half, you are the most important thing in the world to me. I need you.
Ughhghhhhhgh like why did he say that it haunts me in my sleep.

i’m so normal about this
genuine question:
i see a lot of people hate on song of achilles. the main complaints i see are that patroclus is too babygirl, achilles and patroclus are too soft, etc. etc. but the point of the book is that we get the point of view from an unreliable narrator?? like, of course achilles is seen as more soft and sunshiney, it’s 1) a hypothetical fiction book and 2) based off of a separate fictional poem. of course patroclus narrates himself as not a fighter, because he compares himself to achilles all the time.
it’s not meant to be a perfect love story romance: it’s a story of pride, ego, heartbreak, and yes, love too, but the center point is always that it’s patroclus’s story. and anyways, if we’re going to hate on greek mythology retellings, then why do i never hear about people hating on circe? is it just because song of achilles is explicitly queer? her story is also a dramatically skewed retelling.
i have a lot more thoughts on this, but i’m just confused??

Soooo I've been shitty sick and around the holidays binged The Blood of Youth and of course latched onto about 70% of the side characters. That's how it always goes, especially when a show has so many of them.
I was wearing my jade green pajamas with gold accents when I watched the first few episodes so falling in love with Jade Deity was a given, but also oh my god I wanted to pinch Jin Yan's cheek. They both actually had me in tears by the end and it wasn't tears of rage like I'd (lovingly) assumed.
