Despite Classpresident!mingyu's annoying behavior, he's a good president and knows how to keep everyone behave (except for himself but it's okay you do it for him anyway)

A bunch of rude words rolled out of your classmates mouth when they saw the final results of the election on the board. But despite this, they know that Mingyu is a good president, it’s just that—he's irritating.

But it's no secret that their annoying class president is absolutely whipped for you. Hell, even the students from other buildings knew about this.

Sitting beside him, you carefully take notes on whatever your teacher is saying. While Mingyu kept looking at Jun’s direction (which is 1 seat away from him) when the teacher was looking at their laptop, Mingyu took this chance to call Jun in the not so silent way.

“Psst! Jun! Jun!” he whisper-yelled to Jun who turned around and gave him an unamused look, while Mingyu just giggled before pointing at Wonwoo’s sleeping figure.

Jun only rolled his eyes towards Mingyu, causing the male to pout. And this goes on for the rest of the period.

“Mingyu, stop that. You're distracting everyone y'know…” Minghao sighed but Mingyu didn't listen, and proceeded to call Jun for whatever reason he had. Minghao looked at you for some help, hoping you could at least get Mingyu to behave.

“Mingyu—”

You didn't even finish your sentence when Mingyu suddenly sits properly as if he's not sitting like he's inside his house. Hearing his name roll out of your mouth is enough for him to shut up and turn his whole attention to YOU .

‘uh oh’

“Hm? Need something?” He shot you a teasing smirk and you just dismissed his teasing, “are you sick of me?” he propped his elbows on the table and his head resting to his hand. He didn't even bother acknowledging the teacher speaking infront of him, he's just… staring at you with a smile on his face.

“No? Of Course not—” you denied

“Would you like to be?”

You knew the true meaning behind that lyric that Mingyu pulled, him being labeled as the annoying kid in class, making fun of others in a playful way. when the truth is he's just a guy who's deeply in love with you.

And he makes it loud and clear.

While you're staring at him, your hand accidentally brushes against his, that small skin contact never fails to bring a small blush on your face. “Just focus on the lesson, Mingyu.” The male sighed at his failed attempt of flirting with you (he won't admit that he spend nights researching about your favorite songs and how would he pull it off as a smooth pickup line)

You saw Minghao slipped a note under your notebook, you carefully took it and read what's inside—eyes widening in shock.

what ifs... silicon is part moth... just cute little moth creature who likes bright lights and technology... who likes coding and can fly among stars and eats leaf sometimes...

maybe bright lights can be used to lure them away from home...? maybe used as hypnosis in a way... am mean, moths are drawn to lights, even if said lights old kill them...

concept is still in the works and is pretty deep in the weeds as far as my own personal worldbuilding for the setting goes but...thinking about maybe having ulysses become a minor god? like a decade down the line living in the divide he notices he hasn't aged at all...courier's just like "oh. yeah. this can happen sometimes. sorry i didn't give you a heads up."

not 100% settled on what his domain would be yet...maybe just. history? could form a past/present/future trifecta w him, courier, and revelation.
