Headcanon: general dating
Shin mostly acts timid and shy, but he has his moments when he can’t help but leave a snarky remark, all of which he never means in a harmful and rather a teasing way. And also to flex his knowledge in an attempt to passively impress you, but we don’t talk about that
I sure hope you don’t have noodle arms, otherwise the two of you will have a problem. Because of his lack of muscle, he won’t be the one jumping right into it when there is something heavy to lift, and he’d appreciate it greatly if you would do it instead
He’s not scared of spiders, but he won’t let them get close to him anyways, let alone kill it or put it outside. That being said, if he happens to spot a spider in your shared apartment, he will go to another room, waiting for you to notice it. Just so he could do the "You saw it first, you get rid of it." if you end up asking him to get rid of it. As if he wasn’t the actual one to spot it first
His love language is quality time. He loves just being next to you, chat, game together. If you not only want him to feel loved, but also get flustered and have the butterflies in his stomach do backflips forwards, then go for physical touch, words of affirmation or gift giving. Not all at once, choose one. Otherwise he’d get the feeling you’re trying to butter him up and the initial intend fails to get noticed
For every new piece of technology you get, like a phone, a tablet, computer, etc, he makes sure to make it as immune to viruses and the like as possible. As well as make it easy for you to work with if you’re not good with those types of things. You don’t have to worry about the device not working out for you since Shin was the one to select it for you personally, taking everything you need in the device into account and really taking his time to research

Seeing him without his beanie is a rarity, so much that it can feel odd to see him without. The only times he’s not wearing it is in bed, under the shower, and early mornings before getting ready.
