Ch. 2 Sample:
….
Than why had he …?
His eyes found deep purple splotches across his body and had a yellowing afterglow under the skin. They were thick with fluid. The damaged muscles ached when he moved as he twisted and turned around in his inspection. In particular, his throat was deeply damaged, set with a heavy line of bruises wrapping around the front of his throat. His adam’s apple sent a sharp life of pain when he swallowed.
His hands grazed the sensitive flesh, massaging the sore muscles against the sensation.
His fingers slipped across the area, a single hand covering half the mass. It was clear he had been choked.
A pierce of fear lept through him, feeling his sense of control slipping. He really was breakable, a china doll.
He sneered and gritted his teeth, sharply striking himself across the face. He mustn’t be so pathetically feeble.

Elliot Alderson appreciation week↳Day 6: Favourite Episode or Season
“I’m not speaking to you right now, so I’m writing… writing down all the things I would tell you if you hadn’t betrayed me. I can’t trust you, and even though I could really use someone to talk to, I’m choosing an inanimate piece of paper over you. Hope that stings a little.”

Are you a one or a zero?
For the writing requests,(idk if this is good it’s the first thing that came to my head lol) but could you possibly write something for maybe Darlene’s reaction to Tyrell and Elliot being in a relationship?

This isn’t edited but please enjoy this sweet fluff and love <3
******
This wasn’t going to be simple. Somehow, the impossible had happened, and the two had begun dating.
It started a few months ago in secret. Elliot had invited Tyrell over to the F Society arcade for a late night of coding. They were in the middle of planning for the next stage, and in a moment of celebration of their big success, Elliot had pulled him close. He took a step and let his heart flutter, and kissed him.
Lips flew and pulled taught, needing, hungry, and desperate. They desired to end the fraction of space between them. The night snowballed into a consistent arrangement between them. They were fuck buddies, at least for first.
Tyrell was pinning for him from the very beginning. He restrained himself from sharing it in the fear of ruining things. It started off simple, hot, and fast desire needing to be quelled. It would happen anyway at the snap of a call. Surprisingly, Elliot had quite the need.
___
Over time, things changed. Quick fucks turned into quiet moments in bed. Feeling the soft palm of the other hand, a butterfly touch tracing its contours. They would speak in low hushed volumes, lips brushing up against the edges of the other ear. Listening to the trickle of Qwerty’s fish tank while they spoke about nothing, their minds floating together about the life they wanted to live. Together.
___
Their feeding shifted. Slow pinning melted to love. Tyrell would bring him tea when he came to spend time with Elliot. Join him for Flipper’s daily walks and even went to the grocery store together. They liked buying ice cream and Tyrell preferred his soy-based. Mint chocolate chip. It was better for his indigestion.
It came time to tell Darlene. It had gone on long enough and they didn’t want to be ashamed of their relationship. They weren’t, but they weren’t sure how others would take it. Especially her.
Elliot suggested they should take her out for fro-yo. It always made her happy and especially put her at least.
She had a sweet tooth.
___
Darlene was surprised to see Tyrell at the store. She threw on a curt smile as she slipped up her glasses, raising a brow. “Hello, knuckleheads.”
“Hey,” Elliot smiled, strolling in with them.
Tyrell stuck by his side, patting down his shirt as if to wick away any creases that weren’t there. He felt his insides a buzz, hoping they would settle in time.
The three made their orders, paid, and sat outside at the park outside. It was a warm day with the birds chirping, picking at the ground for any loose bits.
Darlene was suspicious. She knew her brother was one to keep secrets from her and she quietly hated it. She wanted to know the brother before her and yet he was always so tight-lipped. It had made her grow patience, but it still bothered her. And she didn’t like there being elephants in the room.
“So, are you going to tell me what’s going on here?” She eyed them both, spoon flicking out like a baton.
Tyrell shifted in his seat, “What do you mean? Do you not like the ice cream?”
“-Fro-yo,” She corrected before mashing her spoon back into her bowl. Mixing up the bits and punching a scoop of it on her end, flipping the utensil in her mouth. She yanked it out of her mouth, slurping down her bite. “You know what I mean Elliot, are you gonna ‘dish or what? You’ve wined’ n’ dined’ me, is the fat lady gonna sing?”
“-Ah,” His skin flustered a bright pink, shifting in the park bench. He flicked his eyes over before returning them.
Tyrell sat cupped his fro-yo in one hand, resting the other on his thigh as he peered at him. “It’s- okay,” He murmured.
He gulped, “W-We wanted to bring you here...”
Darlene eyed him, cocking her head back. “We?”
“Yes,”
“Are you two...? Dating?”
Elliot’s mouth hung open, taking a beat. “Yes...”
She snickered, flickering over to both of their beat red faces. They were like schoolboys in 8th grade, trying to ask out their crush for the big school dance. “Sooo... for how long?” She smirked, forking another bite in their mouth.
Neither of them touched theirs, at least not since this avenue in the conversation.
“Four months,” Tyrell interjected, breaking the silence. Elliot had wanted to be the one to tell her about them, but it seemed appropriate to swoop in and help him out.
“Four months...” She smiled, “That’s good. I’m happy for you guys.”
“You’re not mad?”
She shook her head, “Of course not, you know me. I get around, men, women, and people in between. I’ve never been for labels,” Or cared for swinging one way more than the other. She cared about the person, that's what mattered.
“I’m not mom or dad, just ‘cuz they birthed us doesn’t mean I’m a dinosaur or anything. You remember Sam from high school, right?” She elbowed her brother's shoulder, “Sam wasn’t a she, they were nonbinary. When I would bring them over we used our friendship as a cover. They weren’t out, it’s what they wanted.”
Elliot’s lips parted in a quiet smile, finally taking a scoop of his melting treat. “Yeah, I do. They were nice,” He sniffled, feeling the pool well in his eyes. “Thanks, Darlene,” And the dams broke, streaming across his face.
“Elliot-” Tyrell pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket, slipping it into his hands and the other used it to qualm his tears.
Darlene threw her cup down as the two rubbed his back, soothing him as he doubled over and released. The years of suppressing his emotions and self had weighed on him. Fearing that because he was different that was wrong, strange, and other. Another name to the list of being an outsider- bisexual.
But it wasn’t this way. And the ones he truly cared about, supported him.
They accepted.
“Hey, it’s okay,” Her lips cooed in his ear. “I’ll always love you Elliot, nothing will change that,” She peered at Wellick. “I’m happy you found love.”
Tyrell had burst on his own, quietly sniffling with them. He wiped the stream from under his eyes, “Thank you, Darlene, that means a lot.” He beamed, chucking to himself. He had worried for nothing!
“Of course, just don’t fucking break his heart,” She shot, getting a look from the tech. “What? You’re my big bro, kill me for being protective.”
“I won’t, that’s the last thing I want to do,”
Elliot leaned back into the bench, taking a deep breath. “Fuck, I’m happy to have you,” He smiled, cleared his nose while stairing into the sky. “To have you both in my lives,”
“Hug?” Darlene asked, rubbing her hand on his thigh. “Group hug,” Elliot corrected.
And so they did.
