How do I feel about the Danganronpa V3 characters

(Girls edition)

Kaede Akamatsu

I love her

A great (female) Protagonist. She feels much more realistic in my opinion in the sense that she has confidence but it actually comes from those around her, so if they get angry at her and call her out for her bull crap she feels absolute remorse and is willing to apologize compared to some other characters. While she does tend to dabble and toxic positivity it's not on purpose she doesn't mean to be toxic she just wants to protect her friends which is kind of like real life relationships.

A very supportive and cheerful girl, and I like the fact that she's not only a main character but also I love interest.

I see myself in her in the sense of when she's determined to do something she puts her mind to it and not much can really stop her.

It's obvious she has a crush on Shuichi so the fact that she was able to have sex with him was fantastic. (Cuz that's what she wanted)

Can be shipped with a few people but they feel awkward in comparison to her ship Shuichi

Seems to be bisexual but also sapiosexual

It's thanks to her, Shuichi was able to become the next protagonist and thanks to her Kibo was able to follow and Shuichi footsteps

As the Ultimate Pianist, The way she can bring hope with piano playing is incredible. Like how Clair de lune (a beautiful piano song that) in my opinion brings Shuichi out of despair is amazing. Plus her talent allows her to hear people much better than when you play as Shuichi

Maki Harukawa

I love her (fav)

An awesome love interest and a fantastic choice for a survivor if I'm being honest, because she's able to lead on Kaito legacy alongside Shuichi, she's not alone and she helps Shuichi to remember that he's not alone either

Well she might be cold and standoffish it makes sense considering her tragic backstory. I mean a girl who already lost somebody she cares about and it's basically forced to hurt other people, while being around people that she wants to protect, who wouldn't really be distant from other people

This girl screams bisexual but she also seems to be Morosexual (people who are attracted to stupid people) but she also seems to like protecting others as well

It's a little difficult for me to connect with her in the sense of her assassination abilities, but her being a caregiver is something you can actually see in the game. You see her constantly worried about people like Shuichi, Kaito and sometimes even Kibo and the fact that Himiko, is a survivor is another indication of her need to protect others as Himiko is physically weaker than everyone else, to mention she's never afraid to speak her mind

She's s a part of the training trio which I love I mean those three are just the perfect combo

In my opinion she deserves the two talents that she has, as their polar opposites of one another, and yet they work so well with her kind of character. She's an Ultimate Assassin yes but she is also an Ultimate Caregiver as well (maybe not a child caregiver) but she does care a lot (she shows that side more to Shuichi than she ever does to Kaito)

Training trio roll: the Powerhouse

Himiko Yumeno

She meh

A decent character I don't like the fact she doesn't get much character development until after Tenko dies. To be honest she's kind of annoying before chapter 3 and even as the game goes on she's still not my favorite she gets better just not that much

Not the best choice for a survivor. (if anything Rantaro should have been a survivor, and if we're going for another female have it be Kirumi)

I get the whole point of the survivor is to basically have them continue on the legacy of a lover they lost, but outside of that Himiko really doesn't do much outside of being the staple holder for Tenko and Angie's memory which no that shouldn't be all she has to offer as a survivor

Outside of some of the things that annoy me about her character she would have been a great rival for Kibo if he was the main character like magic vs science that would have been awesome

The love triangle between her Tenko and Angie is adorable though because it shows three characters who are all female can be in love too

Her talent and introduction is rather cute if I'm being honest being the Ultimate Mage/magician is adorable but the problem I have is the fact that she can't seem to differentiate fantasy from reality something I can do pretty often as a fantasist

Some of her quotes like 'what a pain' or 'this is a pain' while annoying or actually kind of funny in the right circumstances

I do like the fact that she definitely had some of the cutest beta designs I think I've ever seen that definitely highlighted more of her magician side than this because it just looks like a school uniform with a witch's hat but overall she is quite adorable

She is such a tsundere and she's totally pansexual, she also thinks very highly of herself and has a bit of an ego for someone so small

Kirumi Tojo

She great

I just love her overall but she definitely has a few issues with her story line that I wish were a bit more flushed out, and the fact that she doesn't know how to cut cognac is just absolutely adorable (don't worry I don't even know how to spell it you're not alone Kirumi)

My biggest issue with her is the reason why she decided to kill. It was for her people, but if her people found out she killed somebody her age just to get back to them and protect them, they wouldn't want her as their prime minister. (Like what we saw in her execution they wanted her to quit). Why it wasn't because they were upset at her abandoning them during their time of need, it was the fact that she was willing to kill someone just to get out of the bad situation she was in. What kind of prime minister does that, she's a good person so the fact that she would do something so low would probably be the biggest reason why they wouldn't want her in office. I mean how can they trust someone to protect their children if she's so quick to kill them

I love her talent as the Ultimate Maid but I don't understand why they call her mom, big sister (Onie- Chan) makes more sense

The fact that she's very respectable of everyone's opinions and she treats them all with kindness and respect and just like an awesome older sister, really compliments her charm and beauty (considering beauty appears in her name if you look up the kanji that makes up her name) and that also explains the gifts you give her during your free time events with her

The way she treats characters like Kibo a robot boy who's always being picked on and Shuichi definitely symbolizes an older sister vibe, which is why it makes me sad that she started treating Shuichi badly during the second trial just to save her own skin

Well yes she doesn't live that long in the main game but I think what makes her such a lovable character is the impact she has on the group before she betrays them. She can cook any type of food and is very willing to listen to them no matter what and doesn't judge them for their choices she's even willing to help them improve their lives that is just the emotional support they needed for all that nonsense a much better choice for survivor in my opinion

Overall I love her character I just wish we had more time with her which is why she's not a bit higher in my opinion when it comes to favorite characters and opinions but I do like the symbol that use for her it looks like a rose

Miu Iruma

Yikes (she needs help)

Where do I even begin with her. Well she's a very insane vulgar character that's a start, and while she's funny (and kind of insane how she always gets the killer right) there's just something about her vulgaris that really makes my eye roll

One thing I do find funny is her insults to everyone like: Calling Shuichi Sherlock homo (very accurate might I add) or calling Kokichi an abortion now that's funny, but also kind of messed up (I guess that's what makes it funny)

I really enjoy her talent I just wish she put it to better use than just sex object type things (like come on girl pull yourself together)

A pansexual girl who obviously has abandonment issues which is probably the reason why she offers her body up so much. If you think about it (minus the trauma) she's a lot like Mikan

When it comes to her character, I don't quite see the context behind some of the shipping with her like with Kaede.

It's also implied that if Kaede had stayed the main character she would have been her Rival the whole game. (Which would have been awesome not just because we would have had a female protagonist, but then we would have had our first female rival)

Angie Yonaga

Scary

I think her talent is pretty cool. I mean artist implies she can do all different types of art which is awesome considering she's a foreigner

Scares me about her character is the fact that it's implies she grew up in a cult

And the fact that she tried to indoctrinate so many members of her classmates into this cult (including trying to marry Shuichi doesn't really help)

In terms of her character when it comes to her love life she screams bisexual in my opinion but she also seems like the type of person who doesn't care about that so totally pan or maybe she doesn't know it's anyone's guess

She definitely seems like the type of person who would be nice to Kibō but she's nice to anybody so I guess that's a plus

Her importance to the story was kind of there but not really she was easily forgetable in my opinion and she wasn't really my favorite

To be honest I didn't like her as much as some of the other characters

Her being in a love triangle with Tenko and Himiko didn't help

Overall not a great character but not the worst

Tenko Chabashira

I don't hate her but I don't like her (she's got issues)

Yikes, this girl I have plenty of issues with but I will start off with this her talent is pretty cool. I mean martial arts specifically Aikido that's definitely different (I'm glad it wasn't something generic like Kung Fu Master)

There are times where even though she claims to hate men, but she does defend people like Shuichi and it is kind of nice to Kibō but that's about it

Personally I have a head Cannon where she doesn't know much about transgender or other types of gender people and the reason why she's in the middle with characters like Kibō is because she wants to learn more about them (or because they're just scared of her)

As amazing as it is to have her be a lesbian based character, the problem I have with her is that she acts like a stereotypical feminist

And her being lesbian is me putting it lightly I'm still on the fence about that because the game gives us hints that it could be possible for her to be Bi she seems to lean more towards girls, or someone she admires (watch her love hotel seeing when she and you'll know what I'm talking about)

I don't like the fact that she calls them degenerate males she has no good reason to since they haven't done anything to her

And the reason they give her for not liking dudes isn't really a good one in my opinion she wasn't molested or raped by them no it was because her master was teasing her and she just took it too seriously

Other than that there isn't really much to say about her not really my favorite (but I do find her flustered sprites quite funny)

One thing I will admit is that I do like how open she is with her feelings, and how protective she is with Himiko

I do think her behavior is a bit better than Miu's but that's just me

Tsumugi Shirogane

I hate her guts

Where do I begin I'm just going to make her section really quick and short because if I were to go over everything that I don't like about this girl this would be way too long

She gives Cosplay a bad name

In the game she says fiction can't change reality that is a bullshit lie, not just because fiction has changed the lives of so many people in the real world but also because of the context of the final chapter

In the game she says fiction can't change the real world, but at the same time she's trying to use Kibō (a fictional character) to change the audience's opinion about Hope in the quote unquote real world

To quote her words not mine "if the audience surrogate falls into despair then the audience should fall into despair" that's literally using fiction to change the real world

And following on that the fact that she constantly calls them fictional characters is basically devaluing their lives

She lied about the Cos Pox thing too

She's a worst liar than kokichi (and that's saying a lot)

I get why they had to make her design super plain so that way she'd be easily forgettable, but I just don't see what people like about her. she's willing to frame, hurt and kill people and then devalue their lives just because she doesn't see them as real

The games confirmed this themselves. If she never framed Kaede we wouldn't have lost an awesome protagonist, and we wouldn't have lost the Ultimate survivor / adventure in Rantaro, and Shuichi would have never fallen into such a depressive state (not to mention we could have had three protagonist or four)

The sad part is that many people believe that she was a part of the previous killing game with Rantaro which means her personality would have been different

If that's the case man I feel bad for that past version of her

I love your Trolls Hypnosis Au so far! Floyd is giving me Poison Ivy vibes! I'm guessing that Brozone in this au is evil as well of the rest of the trolls. How does Branch react to his brothers in this au?

In the beginning (because of a few spoiler things that I won't say just now) he looks up to his big brothers and will believe anything they tell him. He sees them as heroes and trusts them more than anybody else (at least for now)

But as the story progresses he starts to slowly realize that something was definitely off about his brother's behavior

And while he tries to give his brothers the benefit of the doubt he will inevitably find out their true nature, their true intentions… and what they've really been doing with their powers when he's not looking.

He'll essentially go through an internal conflict having to choose between believing in the brothers who could be lying to him or believe in his friends who might be hiding the truth

But I'll say it right now his brothers aren't the only ones Branch needs to be wary of

And as for his brothers they're Not entirely good but they're Not entirely evil either. They're possessive, crazy and very Very manipulative, but they do care about the trolls around them… just to a lesser extent (but at the same time it could be a lie)

But to be honest after everything they went through… can you really blame them

Any questions about Floyd or any of the other brothers I'll be willing to answer but it's not just them there's a boatload of characters that I cannot wait to get into so if you guys have any questions I'd be more than happy to see what you guys can come up with

Shadow house Shirley and Rum Headcannons

(This is implying if they did pass the debut also spoilers for the characters and the story)

Shirley

Speaks in the first person whenever she's alone with Rum

Because of Shirley's lively and mischievous personality she absolutely loves to pull pranks on the other shadows and also makes herself look like a victim of the older shadows it's her way of getting back at their dolls for hurting Rum

Unlike Louise who only sees Lou as her face Shirley loves Rum for who she is her shy, timid personality makes her want to hug her no matter what

The only person she actively lets get away with hugging and touching Rum is Emilico because she understands that those two are good friends and she trusts Kate

She sees John as like a big brother figure and he sees her in the same way he actually finds her pranks to be quite funny

Compliments Shawn for how intelligent he is and tells him to take good care of his master because she sees John as being hopeless

She's like MaryRose in the sense that she remembers that she was a morph which is why after they pass the debut she tells Rum that she wants to do a mirror impression with her

She's the one who puts her accessories and does her hair in a mirrored style to Rum so that way anytime they're out and about they can't say that they're breaking Shadow house rules since Rum is technically copying everything she's doing

In reality by doing the mirror impression she actively is defying Shadow house but she makes it seem like she's not because that's how mischievous she is

She gives Rum her lavender bow back because she knows for a fact that that lavender bow on her finger didn't belong to her in the first place

Because her soot power allows her to transform by wearing the soot she admits from herself she takes a great interest in learning sewing so she can make other people's outfits to make the transformation look more believable

She also never told the shadows house that she developed her soot power because she doesn't want to that's a Secret between her and Rum

Whenever she's outside her room she never admits any soot showing how she never lets her emotions get the better of her but when she's in her room her power is so high that she makes soot scalactites meaning she's on par with Kate with how much so she can create

She doesn't like Barbie but she doesn't mind Barbara, this is because from her own experience she knows that the living doll doesn't defy the actual Shadow mistress/master their representing

She knows for a fact that Barbara has a crush on rum which is why she purposely lets them dance together whenever she gets the chance

She gets super jealous when other people try to get close to Rum because she wants to keep her for herself

Because of her sewing skills she likes to dress up Rum like a baby doll in all different types of colors

She'll take off Rum's portrait whenever they're outside of her room on purpose so that way the two can talk to each other even when they're not supposed to be and will take the blame for whenever Rum is about to get in trouble and blame it on Edward since people genuinely don't believe that she's a mischievous person because instead of Rum making faces to represent her Mistresses personality surely actually copies Rum's shy personality in order to keep the shadows house unaware about her true intentions

Likes hanging out with a living dolls more than she likes hanging out the shadows

Even though her soot power is physical at first the more and more she practices it with rum the more becomes the third type of soot power in the sense of it can mess with other shadows and it's all thanks to Rum gaining soot from other Shadow Masters and giving it to her mistress to try for herself

When Shirley eats another person's soot she's able to transform into them even if she's never seen the shadow themselves and after a long time of improving her power she can also use another person's slip power if she's so desires allowing her to gain all three types of powers physical mental and the unspoken type

This makes her one of the strongest shadows Shadow house has to offer but they have no idea about that because she never lets them know so she's never gets to take the special lessons because she doesn't want to

She lets Rum where her clothes because she thinks she looks beautiful in them

Doesn't like to see Rum be treated as nothing more than a mere face

Will transform into the bow on rum's finger to follow her when she has to do morning cleaning

Thinks Louise is developing a crush on rum but at the same time she thinks everyone is because that's how highly she thinks of her living doll

Enjoys dancing with MaryRose but will actively take Rum's portrait off there since it's a private space for a few minutes before the other dolls can get there

Studying can be quite hard for her since she's as smart as rum but doesn't have the same memory so rum tends to remember things for her

Loves to admire the plants sometimes we'll even draw them if she finds the time and will take some back to her room to continue making outfits for Rum based off those flowers

After learning that the research team makes perfumes based off of the flowers in the greenery she tries her hardest to learn how to do that too

Her favorite instrument is a harp and she learns sheet music pretty quickly

She likes the fact that Patrick is a bit more gentle with Rum than any other Shadow she's seen

During the debut Ricky tells surely not to worry because he's sure Rum will come and save her, well after they pass the debut she thanks him for telling her that because in her eyes he was actively looking out for her "darling Rum" and takes him calling her (scary because of her silence) as a compliment

Purposefully uses her transformation power to sneak into the kitchen and grab different types of food for Rum to eat

Doesn't like Sarah but enjoys Mia's company (she won't admit it but Sarah sometimes scares her)

Rum

Her mistress gives her cute compliments and pet names, even when they're outside of her room she calls her that on purpose as a way to differentiate her the Shadow from her living doll

Always gets nervous whenever her mistress has her take off her portrait while they're outside of her room

Thanks to Emilico she's able to speak with her finger more often something surely tends to copy whenever they're outside of their room

Sleeps in her Mistresses bed more often than normal (Shirley tells her to come sleep in her bed because she doesn't like being separated from her)

Thanks to Shirley she's able to make friends with other shadows and living dolls

Secretly touch starved which is why she likes it when her mistress or her friends hold her in the way that they do

The youngest out of the entire debut class so everyone feels an immense amount responsibility to protect her

Always gets nervous around Barbie because of Mistresses Barbara interest in her

Gets flustered whenever John compliments her whether it's in public or in private

Patrick loves spending time with her and enjoys talking about flowers with her and was horrified to find out that mistress Shirley was in a trap with poisonous flowers surrounding her

Louise actively teaches her how to stay physically healthy and she lets Louise use her soot power on her on purpose so that way whenever she needs to act confident she can

Cry's tears of joy whenever Shirley tells her just how much she loves her

Get super embarrassed whenever she wears an outfit her mistress makes her

When she drank the coffee and was back under the brainwashing of the house she was surprised to have her mistress tell her to put on her outfit and when they looked in the mirror together she called herself her "Mistresses face" which terrified her Shirley's fear and worry for her is what helped her break out of the brainwashing

Collect soot from other shadows whenever she starts cleaning in order to bring them back to her mistress

The only person who knows about their secret is Kate that's because she told Emilico

Likes it when Emilico worries about her

When her patients is pushed to her breaking point her personality becomes the exact opposite of her normal personality or Shirley's. Instead of being incredibly mischievous and playful, or shy and nervous, she becomes angry and sarcastic rolling her eyes and getting pissed off at the smallest thing something surely definitely enjoys because it allows her to see a different side to her living doll but it scares everyone else

Because of how shy and timid she is as a living doll everyone assumes that her mistress must be the same and she gets nervous when her mistress decides to use that to their advantage

At first when she did the mirroring act with Shirley before they left their room she was worried she wouldn't be able to handle it so when surely decided to have them communicate with their hands more and made things much easier

After Shirley gave her the lavender bow she was of course terrified by that prospect but when she put it back on her finger she remembered who originally gave her the idea to do that in the first place and she was able to gain her memories of the outside world back much quicker than Emilio did

Because of her photographic memory she's able to remember a lot of things even under the influence of the brainwashing including the form mistress takes whenever she spies on her

Isn't used to compliments so when she was called the super living doll room because of how smart she is she was blushing out of her mind

Is good friends with Maggie a person on her team but surprisingly Doug has also taken a good interest in her and so has Oliver and Susanna

Because of Shirley actively getting mad at the twins for what their dolls did to Rum, whenever they have their daily cleaning the Bell twins sometimes will treat her better and over time actively try to become our friends once they realize just how nice Rum really is

Her innocence and pure Heart combined with her adorable face makes her attractive and easy to approach to many shadows and living dolls, but the one person SHE actively goes to however outside of her friends is Barbara

Her and her mistress are Dorothy's favorites they don't know it but Dorothy really enjoys them… she was the one who picked them out during the selection after all

Dorothy purposefully sent them a gift which was a pet morph the other adults knew about it too but they don't know why she sent it to them out of everyone else to begin with

Shirley doesn't want to become an adult because she knows she'll lose rum if she does and rum doesn't want to lose surely either

They're on good terms with Lulu and Lorelei mistress (Lorelei actively likes Rum and Lulu thinks it's cute because their personalities are so similar yet so different, same thing goes for Candy and Stella)

Matilda finds rum quite adorable and loves to tease her about how cute she is

Candy and Stella are also good friends with them. Candy tries to help Rum become more confident and Stella always hides behind rum and Shirley whenever candy gets angry at her

Has a crush on everyone in her debut class especially emilico

Actively tries to show Shawn what she's capable of, after he complimented her saying that she has guts she wants to show him more of that as a way to prove it to herself

Blushes whenever Ricky pets are on the head even if he's copying his master, and she enjoys when Ricky actively looks out for her so she tries to do the same for him

Always gets nervous whenever Louise talks about how beautiful Lou is but when they're alone Lou makes it clear that she thinks Rum is prettier not because of any makeup she wears but because of her genuine kindness and she never lets her emotions stop her from trying to improve

She gets her rejoicing party coffee sent to her personally because the last time they gave it to her she pretended to choke on it making it seem like the Starbearers were actively trying to hurt her, this was a part of Shirley's plan to get the coffee so she can grow stronger by drinking it since it has some of the Lord grandfather soot in it

Rarely wears makeup even when they're outside of her room she only wears it in front of Barbara or Louise

Sometimes will act like a veiled doll thanks to one of the outfits mistress Shirley made for her in order to find out more information for her team

Prefer the second option of Barb actively using all six strings to try and make Branch go back to normal, because she realizes that one string is powerful enough to basically steal someone's identity and she didn't like that cuz it only confirmed in her head even more so that the pop trolls are bad people, even more so for doing this to their own kind, and she would actively want to help Branch because she could tell he's in pain

will the pop Zombie Branch AU incorporate movie elements. I'm curious to see how it would collide with Barb's Tour plan of stealing the strings.

what would happen it Pop Zombie Branch was hit with the Rock String, would the two cancel eachother out?

also I really want Barb to meet Pop Zombie Branch and maybe realize 'turning someone into a zombie might be messed up'

Unfortunately, I haven't planned that far ahead yet. I'm still in the planning stage for the au. But it might be fun the speculate

I think if they were in World Tour, Peppy would command Branch to follow Poppy, trying to stop her from doing anything that can harm her. As the story goes on, he starts to become restless due to going so long without the Pop String; even trying to steal it while Poppy isn't looking (she stole it from Peppy) so he can try playing it himself so he can be "normal" again

If he were hit by the Ultimate Power Chord, the Rock would overpower the pop string and he would become a rock zombie.

However, if Barb meets Branch before her concert, she'd probably see what the effects of ONE string can do and think using all the strings will fix it

Oh! Also real quick, I'm now calling the au Hypno Pop. It has a nice ring to it I think

It's obvious Creek didn't want to considering how much he appreciated Floyd's performances but that doesn't excuse what he did that's probably the reason why he went with them in the first place

AKA screw you Creek Floyd deserves better
