Whether it's the leader of brozone, or the sole proprietor of his family, John Dory will do anything in his power to protect the ones he loves. His songs are quite lovely don't you think as soon as they come out of his mouth it almost feels like you'd be willing to do ANYTHING he asks nobody ever questions it… not even his own family but why… why is it that when he asks you… or demands something of you you can't seem to remember after you're done… how strange

Has a massive rivalry with hype from kensit mainly because they're both leaders of their bands and they have different opinions on how they should take care of branch

I can't wait to start writing about his power it's one of the more difficult to pin down

What is Branch's relationship with is old band Kismet and how do Kismet and Branch's brothers feel about each other? Also, do Branch's brothers treat him like Rapunzel from Tangled when they keep him locked up?

Branch

Kismet: childhood friends that he admires dearly they're the reason why he's able to sneak out of the house he and his brothers live in when his brothers are looking

Brozone: family that he adores especially after the events of the great destruction of their old home but as time goes on he begins to question their motives of why they really want to protect him

Brozone: vs Kismet

Kismet: they don't like how Brozone is constantly sheltering Branch, they know that Brozone doesn't like them, but will tolerate them because they're friends with branch, and will sometimes even get hired by brozone to babysit him since they don't know that they are the ones who help him sneak out of the house. Has a small rivalry with the brothers from here to there sometimes and are perfectly fine with poking fun at the brothers and they're insecurities as well

Brozone: don't like the fact that Outsiders of their family (Kimset) just so happened to have gotten so close to Branch, their trust issues stem from how they each took the death of their grandmother and even though they tolerate the boys they know for a fact that there's something… off about them, it also doesn't help that they have no idea what Kismet powers are which makes them even more concerned for their baby brother than ever. Sometimes they get extremely uncomfortable around them because of the rivalry that happens in between them

One thing that both groups agree on is that Branch should definitely stay innocent, and that he should learn about the different types of powers of this world.

The difference is how both groups go about it, Brozone wants to keep Branch sheltered and locked up inside somewhat like Rapunzel, while Kimset wants to let Branch go outside with them and travel to specific places that will allow them to keep their eyes on him (basically over controlling helicopter siblings)…

(that's the complete opposite of how Poppy thinks things should be handled with Branch however)

You mention that a lot of other trolls like Branch in your au. Do these trolls have a crush on him or do they just want him because of his lack of hypnosis ability? (Sorry that I'm asking a lot of questions lately!)

That's a good question and here comes a vague mixed answer

Yes and no not all the trolls are as selfish as the pop trolls, but not all of them are as kind as the flower children are, not to mention not all of them are as perceptive

For example Prince D was able to figure out that Branch had no powers from the moment he met him but just wanted to get it confirmed by Branch first, but Barb when she first met him couldn't really tell not because she's not smart but because she's not as perceptive

It always varies from troll to troll what their intentions motives and endgame are when they meet branch

Are Branch and Poppy dating in your Trolls Hypnosis au?

Not yet

Poppy likes him but a lot of other trolls do too and she's so scared of her own powers and hurting Branch that she doesn't tell him yet

She wants him to like her without using her powers

Branch meanwhile thinks that Poppy doesn't like him and doesn't want to push her away so he treats her like a friend, but that's because she sends him mixed signals, because she's socially awkward and she has no one to talk to about healthy love
