"I only ever asked questions."
you know it's bad when your friend goes: "you still use Tumblr?"
And your English teacher just takes a long look at you and sighs.
Moraine & Siuan, staring at each other, tears in their eyes, altering sacred oaths and basically getting married
everyone else in the room: "yepp, they most definitely hate each other. Definitely. Jipp. We're such detectives"
This is my Jemily manifestation 🕯️
I know Will isnt gonna be on this new season because the actor dude said he wasnt doing that role anymore
So we’re not gonna think about him anymore
I think what the real hype could be is that they will finally address the fact that they have feelings for each other
It could be earlier on in the season and its awkward so it’ll be like a mini arc for them
Sort of “we work together we are cool around everyone but Im not strong enough to look at you in the eye”
I expect flashbacks
I better get flashbacks
Ofc the team will notice but also they have to focus on, yknow, the serial killer
Garcia will be involved somehow
But theyre gonna be very pride and prejudice about it in that there will be hella yearning and zero touching
Again this is the bare minimum that I expect with the hype theyre giving jemily
Anything less gets a riot
Anything more and I will find all the producers and writers and give them a forehead kith
Thats all
Viva la jemily, bitch
Barbie 2023
as a transguy, I watched the Barbiefilm with a great sense of both belonging and disconnect. It's an incredible movie about feminism, the way that men see the world and how women exist in an unfair world. It's a movie about the beauty of life and what it means to be human.
There is a line in the movie: “We mothers stand still so our daughters can look back to see how far they have come.”
Which for most people was a gutpunch. For me it was that too but after a small while, I realized that for me it applies differently. Because my mother also has that mindset. In her mind, she has three daughters. I have to live with the fact that she'll always see me as her daughter, not her son. Never a boy, who still knows and understands the struggles of being raised as a woman.
And that hurt.
Because while I know who I am, my mother thinks of me as an idea in her head that is never going to change, an idea that has disappointed her beyond measure.
