Why are you writing about the forbidden play?. it´s not real, it´s an hallucination, the Telegony was lost for a reason, also is way more modern than the Epic Cycle, is bad fanfiction, like a shipper´s dream making not canon relations, Odysseus was s.a, Circe´s didn´t have a crush on him in the Odyssey.

In the Telegony, they have a child Telegonus, the boy is not bad, but a little mary suey, like everything he does, is good, like killing his father because he became mad (Odysseus) and didn´t know it was Circe´s child. Like man please let Ody and Pen have a happy live and the same for Circe´s.

And I, enjoyed Madeline's Circe, until the Odysseus part because then I realized it made canon the Telegony!, arrghhh, welp sorry for the rant, but yeah that´s the reason they´re in hell and burning for all eternity. :D

Ooh! Aw :) the Odysseus/Penelope/Diomedes ship makes me SO SAD because in Dante's Inferno Odysseus returns to sea years later with Diomedes (leaving Penelope alone) and they both die and are punished for their wanderlust/dissatisfaction with life and they're like tied and burning together and :((( not only do they have to hear eachother being tormented, they also left Penelope alone, saying they'd return like last time, except this time it was actually, finally a lie :(((
