WIP - Work In Progress
I do not know if I ever talked about this, but I use Reedsy (which most of the time I recommend) to write my works. But since I tried to write on my new tablet + keyboard set, I couldn't write on it with the keyboard or my phone for a long time. Whenever I tried to write a word, the second letter of the word would appear behind the first, like "irstf" as an example. It's been a struggle. I don't have any idea what happened or if it was just a me problem???
All of this to say, I'm able to write on it again! SO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANSSS
Here it is a list of all my work in progress, which I plan to keep updated every week, so if you are waiting for something to drop, keep an eye here.
Chapter Four from The U In Us OT8! Hybrid Series - 0/100% (I'm plotting stuff, I promise is going to be good)
When you call them your husband - Ateez reaction - 12,5/100%
You keep distancing yourself - Ateez reaction - 12,5/100%
When they reject you... but it wasn't a confession - Woosan reaction - 10/100%
Defense Mechanism - Ateez Reaction - 5/100% (this is an old old idea, so Im not sure if I want to keep it, we'll see)
The scream I scrumpt like????? Excuse you? This was perfect, how dare you make my delusions tonight all about this Wooyoung?
Anyway, can we have more?
21:23pm
"I'm closed Y/n" Wooyoung huffs, back facing you as he continues to clean down his station thoroughly.
You knew they were closed. You knew coming in here you'd probably be walking out without a tattoo, but something dragged you from your couch to the little tattoo shop you've grown so fond of, or perhaps more fittingly, the tattoo artist who you can't seem to get enough of. "Just a small one Woo please, it'll only take a few minutes!" you protest, sitting yourself down on his table, much to his dismay.
"I just cleaned that" Wooyoung groans, stopping in his tracks to look at the progress you've undone.
"Come on Woo, it'll take like ten minutes" you practically beg at this point.
"Sorry pretty girl," Wooyoung utters nonchalantly, moving so his hands lie on either side of your waist, his face deadly close to yours, causing your breath to hitch, "You and I both know it doesn't take ten minutes. I have to sketch it u-"
"Free hand it."
Wooyoung has to hold back his laughter at that one, "Y/n you're insane" he chuckles, shaking his head lightly. That smile. That stupid, stupid smile that keeps dragging you back here, and subsequently adding a number of tattoos to your body, all from the heavily tattoed man in front of you. You can't help but to admire the tattoos decorating his arms and neck, all so delicately placed, all telling a story.
"Wooyoung" you plead, hooking your finger around the chain hanging from his neck, dragging him even closer to your face, "I trust you. You're the best tattoo artist I know. Please?"
Honestly, you don't know what bravery grew in you to drag the dark haired boy close to you by the necklace like that, and neither does he clearly, his eyes growing wide for just half a second, just one half second of the tough boy facade falling. The same bravery grows in Wooyoung, clearly, as he leans closer, placing a delicate kiss under your ear, causing your cheeks to flush immediately.
Before you could even say anything, Wooyoung's back is once again to you, walking over to where he had just packed away his equipment. "So what tattoo are you thinking?" the boy questions.
"Wait you'll do it?"
"How could I say no to you pretty girl."

THE U IN US - ATEEZ SERIES - CHAPTER THREE
Summary: You weren't really the lonely girl™ of campus, but it does feel like it when you look around, and there's no one by your side when everyone else are talking and whispering between each other. You did have "friends", more like "group projet friends" that you managed to get for yourself, but they were the ones that were real close, you were there only when they had an extra empty seat. But it seems like the gods above took your nonchalant facade as a challenge. Oh, you don't think you need friends to survive through college? Bet.

TWO MASTERLIST FOUR
You were always an early riser. The sun was breaking its first lights on the horizon as you got ready for the day, but there wasn’t a single bone of excitement in you.
Your room reflected the mask you were trying hard to wear early in the morning, spotless and perfectly organized, that was until anyone noticed how messy your bed still was.
You feel asleep early for any college major, but somehow slept a total of 4 hours only. None of them knocked on your door, and you didn’t hear a single peep or saw any lights on from your own slightly open door. They were capable of managing themselves well, you knew that, so you closed the door and were left to your own thoughts for the rest of the night.
Your brain wouldn’t stop running to all the things you needed to do while waiting for a more appropriate hour of the day to actually do them. It was a suffocating feeling, and you hated to feel so impotent. So you cleaned everything you came across at 12 A.M. trying to be as quiet as possible, too restless and tired of all the toss and turn you did already.
You walked out of your room, and it was almost like every single worry you had all night was just in your head. The cop, the plan, your father, they’re now living with you, the shopping you need to do, the paperwork you have to get, their legal documents you have to find wasn’t splashed on the beige walls and the cold porcelain of the floor, so maybe you could just ignore it before your coffee.
“Good morning”, Seonghwa said as you reached the 3/4 of the stairs, now sure that you could see him on the couch and he wouldn’t scare you. Still, he did notice how you grabbed harder on the handrail and had a hard time trying not to smile, but his ears twitching could give him away. “I’m sorry”.
“It’s ok”, you chuckled. “Have you been up for a while?”, you asked as you reached the bottom of the stairs.
“No”, he looked over to the windows, the sunrise clear on the horizon. “I did not even notice how early it was until I came up here”.
It was partly true, there were no windows on the basement area, instead a huge glass door that lead to the pool on the other end of the corridor. He did not see the sun rising and did not take notice of the time, he just did not sleep at all.
“Want some coffee?”, you said as you went around the living room to the kitchen.
“Sure, thank you”, he said but made no moves to follow you.
Seonghwa was enjoying the quiet to put his thoughts in order, something he couldn’t do lately. The last week took a toll on the whole pack to the point their scents changed a little due to stress. Nothing was planned and neither him nor Hongjoong wanted to put their trust and safety solely on your words.
Your presence on itself was something, he couldn’t decide how he felt about it yet. It was annoying how submissive and fake most of them got in your presence, including Jongho, which was a shocking sight back on campus. It was in Seonghwa’s nature to be attentive and caring towards others, he was aware of it, but he only offers that to his pack and pack only. There were no humans left that are worthy of that, Jongho himself said to him once. Yeah, he saw you before. All of them ended up on the hybrid protection department at least twice until now. You were just a human child bored out of your mind. What’s so special about it?
“Here it is”, you left the mug on top of the coffee table, eye smiled at him and then left.
Seonghwa was paralyzed on his spot. He did not hear your steps nor your closeness to him. Now the only thing he could hear was his own-scared heart.
There was a dark cloud on top of Seonghwa’s head, so you give him his coffee quick and left him alone on the couch.
Now, you had the least a whole hour until you had to leave to take the subway. It was enough time to make a small breakfast for yourself and revise your notes for today, but not to make a decent meal for 9 freaking people.
You went to grab your coat near the entrance, even though in less than an hour it would be boiling hot outside.
“Can you tell the other boys I’m grabbing food for us?”, you raised your voice as you looked over Seonghwa, at least 10 feet away, still on the same spot as you left him starting at the wall.
He winced because of your loud tone, and you signed, now aware of your mistake.
“It won’t take long, sorry”, you just left, it felt like the best thing to do.
Perfect, you said to yourself.
Perfect, Seonghwa said to himself.
He knew some of the others could mess up this new arrangement out of guilt for searching around your father’s office, but he couldn’t let it happen.
Yunho was the first to walk downstairs, the both of them needed to have a little chat.
You could only hear the click and clack of the cutlery hitting the porcelain plates. For a table with 9 people, it was quieter than when you eat on your own.
The house was always just that, a house, a balance between a safe place for you to rest in and someone else’s property that you had no control over, but never you felt so uncomfortable in it.
The night before you noticed how proper Yunho and Jongho were, but now, looking at all of them, it seemed forced. It was, because it was. Of course, they were trained to be.
“You are really serious about food, aren’t you?”, you couldn’t take the silence anymore.
Most of them nodded, a small chuckle giving a little bit of life to the table. It was true, call hybrid instincts or whatever, but they meant business when it came to food, but they knew very well there was more than that to the atmosphere in the room, and it was best for you to stay unaware of it.
“It’s just that good”, Mingi said suddenly, as he took another bite of the fresh croissant. “Melting on my mouth”, he mumbled more to himself than anything, still a little shocked at how good it was.
Your neighbors glaring at you as you left with four filled bags out of the small bakery three blocks away was worth it.
“You should have it as a sandwich later”, you said, more than happy to have an actual conversation.
Mingi wanted to hear all about your best recommendations, while San, Yunho and Hongjoong had a staring contest.
Wooyoung, San and Yeosang, a trio you never imagined would work well together, but somehow it did.
On the way to university, you found out, actually, the three of them were dance majors, not just Wooyoung. To your surprise, Yeosang did most of the talking for them this time.
In all honesty, Yeosang just wanted to hide in a hole and disappear. Never in his life he thought he’d want Wooyoung to talk more or that he would wait for a miracle, but at that moment, he caught himself doing both.
Every single loud noise made him jump out of his skin, from the sound of the rails to the loud people talking on the phone. It was all too much all at once. Your attention on him and him only was new, his face was all red, and he couldn’t look into your eyes. His hands hugged his bag against his own chest, but the weight wasn’t enough. If it wasn’t for two hands on his thighs, a clear sign of protection and sureness, he wouldn’t be talking at all.
Bless your heart, you gave every bit of encouragement and reaction to every thing he said, but it was not helping.
“S-so, we were trai-”, Yeosang already small voice was interrupted by the announcement of the next station. The doors closed, and you held tighter onto the pole as it started to move again.
“Training for what?”, you asked as you did your best to maintain the space between you and San’s body.
“There is a performance at the end of the year”, Wooyoung said it, faster than Yeosang could think.
“That’s so cool, so there’s a date already?”
She thinks, am I cool? It was unconscious how all of them perked up at the compliment. Wooyoung tail seemed like it had a mind of his own, swaying left to right. Yeosang turned even more red in the face, his fluffy gray ear covering the sides of his face as he recoiled between the two bodies on each side of him. San cleaned his throat as he looked the other way, he was not comfortable with how much he enjoyed it hearing such a small compliment from you.
Yeosang was a few beats late when he noticed you were still waiting for an answer.
“Oh, hum, no, I d-do not think so, right?”, he looked over to the other boys, who agreed.
“We’ll let you know so you can come see us”, Wooyoung said as he rubbed Yeosang’s back slowly.
“I’d love that, thank you, but are you sure it’s okay for me to come?”, you asked him, then glanced at San, who was already looking at you.
“We want you to come”, San said.
He said a ‘we’, when you were looking for an ‘I’.
It was a painful and awkward silent the rest of the way, until the three of you could breathe again.
“It’s not here”, Seonghwa said a second time since coming back to your father’s office.
He was already tired due to a sleepless night, now he had to spend all his energy to look for papers that weren’t even there.
“Then look again, it has to be here somewhere”, Hongjoong was loosing all his patience as he analyzed every single paper they found left on his desk.
Seonghwa took a deep breath. Hongjoong was being unreasonable, all of them already knew that, including Hongjoong himself.
“You know there’s no reason for why he would leave that behind, and it’s clear he hasn’t been here in a good while, so why are we doing this again?”, Seonghwa put the old box down on the table, all of it was useless anyway.
“This might be the only lead we get, do you just want to give up on him?”, the last two words barely a whisper as Hongjoong took a step closer to Seonghwa, the papers left scarred inside the drawer.
Both of them did not want Yunho, Mingi or Jongho to hear what was going on up there.
Standing so close to each other like this, eye to eye, they could almost touch the emotions swirling in the room. It was frustrating to Hongjoong. They had a goal and a chance, so why would they fail Yunho now? His anger, resentment and fear towards himself more than anything filled the room and suffocated both of them. Seonghwa looked nothing but empathetic and warm and welcoming to Hongjoong’s fears and worries, even when he could only feel the opposite, Hongjoong’s presence almost physically pushing him out.
It took Hongjoong only a moment to give up, which furthered Seonghwa’s worries.
“We’re going to figure it out”, Seonghwa whispered as he kneeled by Hongjoong’s side. He collapsed on the office floor, now holding onto himself. “We always do, don’t we?”
Hongjoong’s eyes seemed unfocused looking down to something on the ground, Seonghwa’s words barely registered in his mind.
When Seonghwa touched his shoulder, Hongjoong looked up to him.
“We always do, don’t we?”
“We do”, he sighed.
Seonghwa wished to say much more at that moment, but Hongjoong in that state would not hear it.
So he only did what he should do, offered a helping hand for Hongjoong to stand once more.
By the end of the day, you did all you could to not go back.
You called Jongho to tell him to get the food delivery when it was close enough to the house. He was surprised, jacket already on hand to buy lunch himself, but it was too late for a polite decline.
The bell rang and you hung up.
You did not come to eat with them, even though you had over two free hours in between classes, but they did not know that and even if they did, would they really call you out on it? It was more comfortable for them that way, so they could be free to behave like they wished to.
You stayed to study on the library after class, which you never did, you rather the comfort and quiet of your room for that, and it was barely 4 p.m.
The list was your salvation to skip dinner. This time, Jongho had time to thank you for the meal in the name of them all.
“It’s not a bother, don’t worry”, you said as you walked out of the second store, bags in hand and the phone tight between your shoulders and cheeks.
“We can cook for ourselves, you know. Don’t you trust us?”, he had that pouting voice through every word, and it took a small smile out of you.
“Of course I do, but you’re my guests and there’s a clear rule, guest don’t do any work around the house, so get used to it”, those words hit him like bricks when you thought it was a string on fresh water.
It was silent on the other side of the line, and you thought the call ended.
“Are you alright?”, his question caught you so off guard, you stopped walking in the middle of the busy street and a woman bumped into you with full force.
“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?”, you smiled to her, but the woman didn’t look back to see your apologetic self.
Your voice was sincere, so Jongho allowed himself to stay calm.
She does not know, she’s not mad at you, he kept repeating to his stupid mind. Of course, you did not know and were not avoiding them on purpose because of it, but he felt his heart heavy still.
“We were just worried, you didn’t say anything so… but you’re safe then?”
“I’m coming soon, alright? Don’t worry about me, I’m just shopping for some stuff I need”, you walked faster, now feeling guilty to left them without a proper warning.
The moment Jongho hung up, the other 7 were waiting for an update. The winter night and the neighborhood made it seem later than it was. It was only 6:28 p.m., but there wasn’t a single soul outside and barely any noticeable noise.
“She’s coming soon”.
Mingi plopped on the couch, relieved. He barely talked to you, yet your presence and actions warmed him, and maybe he was getting too comfortable too fast, but just the thought of you leaving them now made him want to sob.
Yunho sat beside him and Mingi’s gray ears turned to him instinctively, but he had nothing to say. He knew Mingi well enough to know this meant something else to him, it was the possibility of another person abandoning him, and he was ashamed as it was of it. So Yunho did not point it out how that mentality wasn’t good for him at that moment, just offered his arm, that Mingi was elated to accept and cuddle with.
“Do not forget what we talked about today, can you do that Mingi?”, Seonghwa’s toned softened as he talked to him, a bit different from the actual conversation they all had.
Mingi only nodded.
It was a reminder for Yunho and Yeosang as well, no matter how they felt about the topic, they’d do their best to keep the roof on top of their heads.
Before you could grab the keys in your purse, the door suddenly opened.
You watched with your heart on your feet as a yearning Wooyoung took all four bags out of your hands and disappeared inside, too stunned to say anything.
“Uhm, Wooyoung, were you waiting for me?”, you asked as you stepped inside and closed shut the door behind you.
He hummed instead of answering you.
Beside him, there was no one in the living room, and the lack of noises was enough for you to assume they wanted to keep to themselves.
He carefully laid down your bags on the couch, then stood there with a small smile on his face.
“Is there anything else I can do to help you?”, he stood there shy and small in front of you.
The contrast of his behavior from yesterday evening to this gave you whiplash. Is this Wooyoung, or that was Wooyoung? Then, you knew he was trying his best to charm you, and he did. So was he not like that usually, or will he not be like that to you?
They carried huge baggage with them, and maybe you’ll never get to figure out even a small percentage of it, that was clear to you. Still, it is hard to be the one that had to pretend and ignore the elephant in the room.
“Yes, there is actually, but can we talk for a bit first?”
Wooyoung’s tail stopped its course in the air and his smile faltered, he nodded.
Both of you sat slightly turned to each other, but Wooyoung could not hold your stare, so he looked at the painting on the wall instead.
He thought his minds was playing tricks on him, but you seemed much nervous than he was. Your body was screaming to get out of there and run just like his. What could they’ve done for you to be so tense? Surely, you were not scared of him if you weren’t even scared of Hongjoong or San.
You took a deep breath. Your own mind exhausted you the whole evening and night because of this very moment, you were tired of overthinking every single thing they did.
“I just want to make it clear, so we can stop walking on eggshells around each other”, your voice was barely a whisper, still Wooyoung flinched at the reminder of his own confusing behavior towards you, just like the others he’s been hot and cold to you for no reason, when you’ve been nothing but nice to him. “I want you and the others to be here, and you do not have to do anything because you feel like you have to please me in return, can you understand that?”
He nodded.
“I am also not mad at you by any means because of yesterday”.
That made him look at you, because you deserved at least that level of respect, even though your face was a bit blurry through his tears. He knew your kindness was undeserving, and he would do anything to compensate for it, no matter what you say.
You wished to hug him, and maybe he read your mind, because a second later, Wooyoung launched himself into your arms.
It was a silent cry at first, you were stunned in place, surprise by the trust and vulnerability he was showing to you, then you heard his sobs and the sound broke your heart, you never heard before and never wanted to hear again.
You held him tight through the soft tears, loud cries and slurred words he muttered under his breath on your shoulder. Even when your arms stared to hurt, he did not let it go, so neither did you.
It was comfortable to be near you like this, for the first time Wooyoung understood why San liked you so much, and that did not leave a bitter taste in his mouth this time. You were warm and kind and really soft, almost better than his favorite blanket.
“Wooyoung”, you broke your little bubble, and he hummed into your neck. “Can you call the others for me, please? I bought some clothes for you all to try on”.
He was perfectly comfortable in that position, leaning into your side and the last thing on his mind was to move away, but the moment he looked at your soft eyes and pretty smile, he got up.
He should not be understanding San in this way.

stretch marks w/san
imagine you and san lay in bed together on a lazy morning. the curtains are only just open, casting a hazy light over your barely clothed bodies.
san is wearing nothing more than a pair of plaid joggers that sit low on his hips. you on the other hand, wear one of his shirts and a pair of pink cotton panties. the shirt has ridden up around your waist, thighs on full display.
san likes that fact, perhaps a little too much. your thighs are his favourite pillow, after all. it’s even better when they’re bare and he can lay with his head pressed firmly against one, fingers drawing dainty patterns against the other. it’s no secret just how much he likes the skin to skin contact.
you sit with your back against the headboard. you have one hand on his head, fingers running through his short hair, tugging at the strands every now and then. in your other sits your phone.
“i like these,” san hums, tracing his finger over your thigh in the shape of a lightning bolt. you pull your eyes away from your screen to watch as he traces over a stretch mark before moving to a different one and giving it the same treatment.
“my stretch marks?” he hums in response. you put your phone down to give him your full attention. “any reason?”
he flattens his palm against your thigh and rubs it up and down.
“pretty…” he sighs as he leans forward to kiss the meat of your thigh, “they look like water does when it’s rippling. you know like when the sun hits it and you can’t help but stare at it for a while?”
he looks up at you with wide eyes.
“fuck, you’re pretty.”
you can’t help but crack a smile. not when he’s looking at you like you hold the sun, moon and stars in the palms of your hands.
“sappy baby,” you call him, running your nails over his scalp. his eyes flutter closed at the sensation, a low groan leaving his lip, “you must really love me…”
“more than anything,” he whispers as he opens his eyes again, “and every single day i find something new that just makes me love you more.”
he kisses your thigh again, and again, and again. it takes a moment to realise that he’s pressing kisses to every single stretch mark he can get his lips on. when you do, you giggle.
“you really like my stretch marks, hm?”
“oh, i’m never leaving these babies alone,” he cracks a smile, “i didn’t think i could love these thighs any more than i already did but you always find a way to prove me wrong, don’t you?”
you roll your eyes.
“you’re so stupid.”
“yeah… stupid in love with you.”

You let out a huge sigh of relief as you submitted your final assignment for the semester. You flopped back onto your bed and laughed in relief, feeling your pulsing headache beginning to ebb away.
The last day of the semester came way faster than you were prepared for. And you weren’t nearly as stressed as your normally would’ve been.
Maybe because tonight, you and Wooyoung were leaving to go visit his dad.
Wooyoung told you the next day after you asked that his father responded with an “enthusiastic yes,” and couldn’t wait to meet you. The last week of the semester flew by after that, and now you were here.
You checked your phone, and you had thirty minutes before you had to meet up with Wooyoung before you started the drive back to his dad’s house. Thankfully, you’d packed most of your things the night before, so you spent your time double and triple checking everything, and collecting everything else you might need.
And before you knew it, Wooyoung was texting you.
Heyyyyy
I’m parked outside your dorm, I finished early
Did that essay kill you?
Come onnnnn, we gotta go sooooooon
You ignored his texts until you were leaving the dorm. You got outside with your bags, being met with the early Winter weather. Cold air, a little bit of snow on the ground. Par for the course for northern November weather.
Wooyoung got out of the car and helped you with your bags. “Did you bring your whole closet?” He asked as he put them into his trunk.
“I had to, this is all I have.”
“Oh, right. Well, you can borrow some of mine if you run out while we’re there.”
You were going to be with Wooyoung and his dad, and maybe other family, until classes started again in January. A whole month away really was a small vacation, and you were ecstatic to be away from this building with your best friend.
“Thanks, Wooyoung,” you said softly, hoping you wouldn’t have to bother him with borrowing his clothes. He smiled and motioned for you two to get in the car.
And then you were off. It wasn’t a long trip, about a forty minute drive, but it felt way shorter to you. You were both incredibly relieved to be away from school, but also incredibly excited for what this Winter Break would hold.
Your heart was pounding as Wooyoung entered his home town. He hadn’t told you much about where he grew up or where his dad lived, so when Wooyoung drove into a rich suburban neighborhood and pulled into the driveway of an extravagant house you were floored.
The house was a minimalist, modern aesthetic. The colors were sharp and contrasted starkly, the windows were clear and clean, there wasn’t a speck of dirt anywhere.
“You didn’t tell me your dad was loaded,” you joked as Wooyoung turned off the car. But when you looked at him, he was nervous. You couldn’t really fathom why Wooyoung was nervous to be home, unless he himself didn’t want to see his father.
But if Wooyoung didn’t want to see him, why did he bring you along? It didn’t make sense.
“I need to tell you something about my dad before we go inside,” he started, looking down at his hands in his lap, fidgeting with them. You couldn’t help the numerous ridiculous thoughts that filled your head, trying to predict whatever Wooyoung was about to say.
“My dad…” He was already hesitating and trailing off. Warning bells were going off inside your head. Wooyoung thought for a long while, before you could see him mentally make the decision to just rip the bandaid off. “My dad isn’t a masculine man. He prefers to dress like a woman.”
And you sat stunned for a few seconds as to why your best friend thought this would be an issue for you.
“Wooyoung, I’m sorry, but do you know me?” You asked. He looked up at you, and along with nervousness, guilt started creeping into his eyes. “I don’t care how your dad wants to dress or act, as long as he’s not an asshole.”
You saw Wooyoung’s whole body relax, melting back into the car seat. He laughed softly. “Yeah, I don’t know why I was so nervous. I just didn’t want you to be surprised when we went inside to see him.”
You nodded, and smiled encouragingly. He smiled back, and you both went to get out of the car.
As you two were grabbing your respective bags, Wooyoung said “ah,” remembering something. “By the way, he prefers being called ‘mom’.”
“Are you sure your dad doesn’t have something to confess?” You said, half joking. Wooyoung laughed and shook his head.
“No, no, it’s not like that. Believe me, I asked a couple years ago. He likes being a man, he just also likes looking feminine.”
And then the nervous excitement bubbled up inside you as you both walked up the driveway, then the sidewalk, then the stairs to the front door. You could feel the mix of emotions clawing at your body from the inside out as Wooyoung struggled to grab the correct key.
The excitement of meeting your best friend’s dad, along with the nervousness of wanting to impress him was making your stomach churn. But not in a way where you felt sick, your body just didn’t know how to calm down from everything.
Wooyoung finally got the key out and unlocked the door. Your heart felt like it was going to burst out of your chest and run away.
You walked inside and were greeted to the inside of the house reflecting the outside. Modern, stark, clean, but with tasteful decorations scattered throughout. Some paintings, statues, plants, decorative lights.
But all of that was second to the gorgeous man in front of you.
Wooyoung’s father-or, mother, as he preferred-was sitting on a large, plush couch to the left of the door, watching a movie. He looked over the couch and smiled at the two of you. You forgot to smile back, because you were staring in awe of how someone could be this beautiful.
You didn’t hear what he was saying as he stood up to greet you two, because you got a full view of him and all the air left you.
He was wearing a long sleeved sparkly sweater dress that stretched down to his knees, with sheer tights underneath. His black hair was fluffy and fell freely around his perfect face, reaching down to his jawline.
Oh, his eyes and smile made your knees weak. You could feel nervous tremors run up and down your thighs.
What might’ve surprised you the most was his hourglass figure. He had tits, hips, and a tiny waist.
Oh, what a Winter Break this was about to be.
“Hey!” Wooyoung called, and you suddenly remembered you weren’t in a dream. Both men were looking at you, Wooyoung slightly annoyed, and his mother amused. “Eomma, this is my friend. This is my mom, Seonghwa.”
“It’s wonderful to meet you,” Seonghwa said, holding out his hand. You took his hand and tried to give the best handshake you could. His grip was firm, but delicate. Your eyes flicked down to look at his hands, and to your surprise, even his hands were feminine.
“Thank you, it’s good to meet you too,” you babbled out, struggling to make sure your voice didn’t waver. Seonghwa smiled warmly as he pulled back, and he turned to Wooyoung to hug him tightly. Wooyoung struggled to return the hug with his bags on his arms, but he still managed to make it work.
“Did you go out?” Wooyoung asked Seonghwa as he pulled back, looking over his mother’s outfit. “You’re all dressed up.”
“No, but my son and his friend visiting me is reason enough to dress up.”
You swear you could feel your head starting to get light. Wooyoung glanced at you, then back at his mother.
“Okay, well, I’m gonna go unpack.” Wooyoung looked at you before continuing. “There’s a guest room close to mine, I’ll show you.” You nodded, and you two started for the stairs.
“Don’t be too long!” Seonghwa called, “Dinner will be ready soon!”
You felt your heart stutter at the mention of a home cooked meal for the first time since you couldn’t remember when.
Wooyoung brought you down the hallway, turned to the right, and stopped at the end. “This room on the far end is the master room. Belongs to my mom, obviously.” Wooyoung waved his arms around to express his point, then motioned to the door on the left side of the hall, the one he was in front of. “This one is the guest room, and the one on the other side by the corner is mine.” He pointed to the door all the way down the hall.
You nodded, your eyes betraying you and drifting to Seonghwa’s bedroom door. The forbidden room, your brain was telling you. You had no reason to go in there, but the idea of going beyond it-
“Okay, dude, I can see that you were checking out my mom, okay?” Wooyoung blurts, making you whip your head back to him. You’d hoped you didn’t look as obvious as you felt, and your worst fear came true.
If Wooyoung saw it, so did Seonghwa, and the mortification slowly took over your body as you felt your face burn hot.
Your first instinct was to apologize, but you stopped yourself. All possible words left you, and you just stared at Wooyoung with fear and embarrassment all over your face. Wooyoung sighed and shook his head.
“We’ll talk about this later, go unpack your stuff. Wait until I come get you.” And with that, he walked off to his room and disappeared into it.
You didn’t even get to appreciate the gorgeous room you got to stay in, because you were too consumed with guilt to properly look over it. It was large, lavish, and comfortable, but you felt awful as you started unpacking.
You were drooling all over your best friend’s mom the second you walked in the door. You couldn’t help yourself from feeling awful the entire time you put your luggage away.
You jumped a whole foot in the air when you heard a knock on the door. The door creaked open and Wooyoung peeked inside. You were just finishing up as he came into the room, and you felt simultaneous relief and dread.
Before you could stop it, words began tumbling out of your mouth. “Look Woo, I’m sorry, I know it was insanely disrespectful of me to act that way in front of your mom, I should’ve acted better and I-”
“Woah, slow down,” Wooyoung said, holding his hands up. You stopped and swallowed back the rest of the words you thought of saying. You realized then that Wooyoung didn’t look upset anymore. In fact, he looked resigned. “I’m not mad. I think I was just protective.” He looked away for a second before he looked back at you. “I didn’t want you to think of my mom as some kind of porn character.”
“No, never!” You immediately blurted.
“I know you’re not like that, and I’m sorry I snapped at you.” You could see in Wooyoung’s eyes, he felt remorseful. You found it a little weird, because he was justified in being upset. “People have done it in the past, he thinks he found a partner, and it turns out they liked the idea of having him as a personal porn star object, nothing more.”
The fact that such a revelation didn’t surprise you made you doubly upset.
“So, I guess, what I’m saying is,” he started, and then sighed again. “I mean, if you fuck, just don’t tell me about it.”
The bluntness of his request makes you choke, and you can feel your face instantly burn hot. Wooyoung finally breaks and laughs, and his laugh makes you laugh.
You really were lucky to have an amazing friend. Not because he just gave you permission to fuck his mom, but that you could have proper conversations about issues and settle them like the adults you were.
Then again, you both clearly still acted like teenagers, but it was like a wise man once said: There’s a time and place for everything.
The three of you were sitting around the small dining table in the kitchen, enjoying the dinner Seonghwa had made for you all. Despite saying that it was a “small” table, there was still tons of space left over. You could fit much more food and people at this “small” dining table with how much space there was.
The food was delicious. Half because Seonghwa was clearly a skilled cook, and half because you hadn’t eaten anything made with love in so long. The fact that it was made with love and care put into it made it taste stellar.
“So,” Seonghwa started, looking over at you. “Why are you spending your break with us?”
You expected this question. You’d rehearsed it a million times over.
“I don’t talk to my parents, and the rest of my family already has plans this year.” It was the truth, but it didn’t give away too much information. Seonghwa gave you a sympathetic look with a slight pout. He must’ve realized you didn’t wanna talk about it more than that, because he didn’t push for you to explain more.
“Well, I’m happy to have you.” You smiled and said a soft “thank you” before taking another bite of food. “You’re welcome.”
You expected Wooyoung to be rolling his eyes with every look you gave Seonghwa, and to be annoyed with how permanently flushed your cheeks were. But to your surprise, he was giving you little smirks the entire meal, and giggling silently when your voice wavered as you spoke to Seonghwa.
It’s like you two never really grew up. Two little kids giggling at each other from across the table, almost reminiscent of teasing your friends about their crush at lunch time.
The big difference here is that your fucking crush is your best friend’s mom.
And yet despite how obvious you two must’ve been, Seonghwa never commented on anything you two did. It was as if he hadn’t noticed a thing.
You survived the rest of dinner, with light talk about how you and Wooyoung met, how school was going, your major, and more about you as a person.
Seonghwa began to clean up when you all were done eating, but you grabbed your dishes and brought them to the sink.
“What are you doing?” Seonghwa asked as you began to rinse off your utensils. He looked genuinely stunned, and you couldn’t understand why.
“Cleaning?”
“You don’t have to do that.” Seonghwa took the dishes from you. Not forcefully, but gently removing them from your hands. “I know, it’s polite to help, but I don’t mind cleaning. I actually like it.”
“But you cooked. It’s the least I can do,” you argued. Seonghwa looked at you for a moment, then smiled. You felt your stomach flip over, and smiled back to cover it up.
“Thank you, dear. That’s sweet of you.”
The name shouldn’t have made you as flustered as it did.
You spent the next few hours with Wooyoung and Seonghwa, continuing to talk, having some movies as background noise. As you sat with them, you observed their dynamic, and learned more about both of them in the process.
Your irrational theories about Wooyoung being averse to Seonghwa couldn’t be more wrong. He was relaxed, comfortable, and he clearly loved his mom. Wooyoung was cuddled up to Seonghwa towards the end of your conversation, his head basically on Seonghwa’s chest and his arms around him.
After the final movie, all three of you decided it was time to head to sleep. You said your good nights and went to your separate rooms.
But despite the comfortable bed, the wonderful room, and the hospitality of Seonghwa, you couldn’t sleep.
You looked at your phone, you shifted around, you tried walking around, but you didn’t feel tired. You were getting frustrated after a couple hours.
You decided to go get a drink of water. Maybe it would calm you, or walking around would take your mind off trying to sleep.
You quietly made your way out of your room and down the hallway, using the light from your phone to guide you. As you passed Wooyoung’s room, you heard him softly snoring.
You got into the kitchen and carefully navigated to the cabinets. Seonghwa and Wooyoung both had shown you where to find cups in case a need like this arose during your visit. You didn’t expect to need it the night of, but here you were.
You found a glass and got your water. It didn’t make you feel any better, but it did feel nice.
“Can’t sleep, darling?”
Your whole body jumped as you whirled around to look for the owner of the sound. You knew it was Seonghwa before you saw him, but you still weren’t prepared to see him in the archway, leaning against the wall, in a long black silk robe with flowers all over it.
You shouldn’t have been fixated on the fact that his robe was open enough for you to see the line that ran down his chest, and the slight ridge of each side.
He laughed softly before he spoke. “I’m sorry for startling you.”
His voice was deeper than it was before. Smoother, almost. Like chocolate sauce.
“It’s okay, I know you didn’t mean it,” you mumbled, trying to keep your eyes on his face. That ended up not working out as his eyes made you feel small, and you looked to focus on your glass instead of him.
But what you didn’t know yet was that Seonghwa didn’t like to be ignored. You looked at him when he spoke to you. It was a rule like any other. The sky is blue, the grass is green, and you listen to Seonghwa.
He walked over to you and grabbed your chin, turning your head to look up at him. Your mind went blank and your stomach churned inside you like a washing machine. A smirk pulled the corners of his mouth up as your cheeks turned red yet again.
“There we are,” he cooed softly, his voice hardly more than a rumble in his throat.
“Seonghwa, what are you doing?” You said, your voice wavering on every word. Amusement sparkled in his eyes as he moved even closer, his hand moving to the back of your neck.
“Don’t tell me I was hallucinating the looks you gave me since you showed up. Did you really think I wouldn’t notice you checking me out the entire time?”
Of course not, you knew there was a strong possibility he knew everything. He was at least over double your age, he was no stranger to all of this.
“I just didn’t think you’d do anything.” You began to stutter more as you struggled to pick the right words. You could see it clearly, in his big dark eyes, that he was enjoying watching you fight to stay composed.
“And why wouldn’t I? You’re a cute little doll, how could I resist?”
Your heart gave one massive beat you could feel throughout your whole body. The air in your lungs was sucked out. Your head felt light. You didn’t feel like you remembered how to stand.
Seonghwa laughed again, and his eyes shifted to something more hungry. More primal. “Come, little doll,” he said, pulling you even closer until you were pressed up against his chest. “Won’t you stay with me for the night?”
How could you answer with anything besides “yes”?

“Sure, thank you”, he said, but made no moves to follow you.
Your presence on itself was something he couldn’t decide how he felt about it yet.
Now, you had at least a whole hour until you had to leave to take the subway.
She thinks am I cool?

WHEN THEY GET JEALOUS OF YOUR CHRISTMAS GIFT - MATZ + YUNHO (FROM THE 400 FOLLOWERS EVENT)
Requested by the lovely @h3arteyes4mingi <3 This was soo much fun to write, there's a little bit of my own twist to fit the theme
If you enjoyed it, please reblog my work! The requests for the event are open!
Ateez Masterlist
In Korea, the Christmas tradition was quite different from your country and if you had to be honest, you missed it a lot in those 3 years you’ve been here. You thought you kept those thoughts to yourself, you realized you failed on that.
Hongjoong (김홍중)
He had no idea they were planning this. All he knew about was his own gift to you, one he gave you already by midnight since he came to your house after schedule.
You are a collector, always has been, and he loved to indulge you whenever he could find an interesting piece and that he did. You were so excited by the vintage vinyls you barely slept the night before.
So to him, sitting on your couch, watching the scene unfold, was quite amusing. You, still sleepy, doing your best to be as excited as you would be if they came by one or two hours later and them, making an absolute chaos as they always did.
“You guys are actually insane”.
“I think you mean we are amazing, now get your jaw off the floor and open this”, one of them said and handed their collective gift to you.
The thing is, the boys also loved to indulge another collection you had. Todecide which signed album to get you was hard, so they got you all of them but the one you bought already, your boyfriend’s.
The moment your eyes landed on the cardboard box, you knew what it was, and you didn’t hesitate to sit on the floor of the living room and make an absolute mess. The box left aside, the wrapping paper and bubble wrap all over the place would make you lose your mind in any other occasion.
“No way, you guys did not have to…”
In front of you, there was the whole collection of the new Ateez album and as you analyzed it further, all of them were signed.
“Open them before you thank us”, Wooyoung’s tone should be the first indicator something was off to Hongjoong, but it wasn’t.
You didn’t need to be told twice and even made Jongho bring your scissors, so the package wouldn’t be slightly damaged as you took off the plastic.
You had a little routine as you opened a new album of theirs, the photocards were last, but all of them insisted you saw it first.
Hongjoong could tell you were excited for whoever may be on it, but he did wish it was one of his, another one for your long collection.
“Ah!”, you screamed as you turned it. “Yeosang!”, you announced smiling from ear to ear. “Look at you, this hairstyle looks so good…”, you said as you took a closer look.
Hongjoong felt a sour taste on his mouth. Right, it was true, anything looks good on Yeosang, that’s just a fact, but that’s what you always say to him and him only whenever he changes his hairstyle and comes running home to show you in person.
“Another one! I don’t have this one, it’s so pretty”, you showed them both photocards next to each other.
“Pretty”, Hongjoong huffed as he looked away.
“Did you say anything, hyung?”, San asked like the devil himself beside him.
San’s smile reflected on everybody else’s faces.
“No, nothing, just thinking out loud”, he brushed it off, but now all eyes were on him, including yours. “Let me help you to open those”, he moved to sit beside you and got his hands to work without waiting for an answer.
That was enough to make the attention back on you and your excitement, and he couldn’t help but smile watching you do your thing.
He sat straight, a new wave of hope as he finished taking the plastics off and making a line for you to grab. One of them has to be him, there is just no way you won’t pull his photocards.
So he waited and waited, but album after album, you got Jongho, then Wooyoung and Seonghwa. Yunho, you pulled Yunho before him. In his head he felt like murdering them all. It was clear it was on purpose by the 3rd time the photocards matched the sign on the cover.
“Love, you’re pouting”, you whispered to him when the boys were busy roasting and cringing at each other’s photos.
“No, I am not”, he whispered back, all wide-eyed and defensive, threatening to look at you in the eyes.
“You know you’re the prettiest in my eyes, right?”
“Am I? Prettier than Yunho’s outfit and Yeosang’s hairstyle?”, he didn’t budge when you hugged him nor when you put your head on his shoulder.
“Look at him sulking because she didn’t pull his pc”, Mingi said as he noticed you two on your own word.
“I’m not sulking!”
Seonghwa (박성화)
In hindsight, he told you this morning he had another surprise coming soon, so you expected something, but nothing close to this. He already made your entire year last night after he cooked all your home country food for Christmas, with your help as soon as you noticed his behavior. So what else could he do?
It was a huge box, San could barely hold it alone as one by one, they came in and greeted both of you.
“What is all of this? Better not be another prank”, you said as you glared at Yeosang, the perpetrator the last time.
He dared to giggle as the memories resurfaced and gestured no with both hands, loosing all his composure and so flustered to answer you properly without laughing. Your comment also got a chuckle out of the others, including Seonghwa, who also receive a threatening glare on his direction, but his innocent eyes could get him out of anything, so you let it go for now.
“Do you think we would be so mean to you on Christmas morning?”, Wooyoung said in such an offended tone with his left hand on his heart, like you just said you hated puppies or something.
“I don’t know what to expect from you guys anymore”, you said as serious as you could be watching his dramatics.
Hongjoong had to interfere and remind everyone of what they were doing there in the first place
“To do something nice and not to bicker some more, understood?”, he cut off Wooyoung, using that captain voice and as if it was magic, they all fell back in line.
You made space on the kitchen table to open the box there. Your best guess would be another box, a smaller one then another and another, with something inside the last one. Instead, there were carefully wrapped albums, a shit ton of them, filling more than half of the whole thing. You were speechless, then you screamed in a way none of them saw before, the fangirl scream.
“Oh my…”, you couldn’t finish.
“Now you can’t say we never did something nice for you”, Jongho said, his tone was flat, but his smile gave away the true affection he felt.
It was a lie you could never tell anyway, since they would treat you like a little sister and pay your share every time.
“Who do you want to pull the most?”, Hongjoong asked as they all watched you open the first album, a Jongho signed copy.
“San”, you didn’t even hesitate to say.
All of them immediately looked at Seonghwa, who looked like he just got stabbed on the back.
“Have you ever seen his eyes this big?”, Yunho asked as he giggled at Seonghwa expression.
“At least pretend to think for a moment, you’re killing him”, San said as he joined in the laughter.
You looked at him, right by your side. Seonghwa, who casually leaned onto the wall, now fell to his knees, both hands on his heart as he looked at you with those same puppy eyes, then looked down fake crying. “You don’t love me anymore”.
You couldn’t help, but giggle yourself.
“Don’t you want to know why I want a San photocard?”
He looked away, but you noticed how his eyes moved to look at you every 2 to 3 seconds. He was quiet for a moment, still not meeting your eyes.
“Because I already have your set complete and there’s a lot of San’s cards missing for me”.
That was enough for him to stand up. “How do you have mine complete already?”, he frowned.
It was a conflicting feeling, he hates that you spent so much money to support him, but at the same time he was beyond touched by those five words only.
“I want to support you, that’s all you need to know”, you said as you focused back on your gifts. “Now, can you stop pouting and help me here?”
Seonghwa blinked slowly as he gulped, suddenly standing with impeccable posture. Was he pouting this whole time? He noticed too late how the boys got quiet, he knew he was screwed on the group chat later.
Jeong Yunho (정운호)
“Are you sure I’m not going to bother you guys?”, you asked once again to Yunho, who was driving you to their dorms.
He only smiled at you, then quickly looked back to the road, but his hand held yours tighter on top of his thigh, a silent request for you to trust him.
Any other person would be annoyed by now, but he knew the reason for this, it was a fair one. It was a true fact, they always had a schedule for Christmas day and rest was not a given to them, so you didn’t mind spending the day away from him. But not this year, he wanted to do something nice for you now, before lunch, because he would be busy later in the night.
To be honest, even if you were going to bother them, it was too late. You both arrived in front of the building. So you let it go, you trusted his judgment.
You took a moment to actually look closely at Yunho, as he parked the car on their spot. You only witnessed him so serious about something while dancing, he tends to loosing up as soon as he sees you, so it only makes this whole situation more intriguing to you, since he was determined not to tell you a single thing, it was a first for him.
Then, you noticed his ears getting red, but chose to ignore it. How can he still be so shy by your attention after all this time, it was a mystery.
He squeezed your hand to call you back to reality.
“I want you to just enjoy it, can you do that for me?”, you nodded and let go of his hand.
The chaos could be heard from outside the door, but the moment he started to press the door code, everything went silent.
But before you could make a comment, the door opened.
“Happy Birthday!”
“Merry Christmas!”
Half said something, half said something else.
In front of you, half the decoration was for Christmas, the other half was a birthday party. Yunho slipped from your side to grab his own party hat to complete the look of the best boyfriend in the world.
You were giggling at the sight, too many emotions in your heart to actually say something at the moment.
“Come sit and open your gift, Yunho-hyung worked hard to make it happen”, Jongho said.
That he did, he fought hard his own fans to grab those albums for you. To see you beaming while flicking through the photobook was priceless to him, it was all he wanted to see after missing your birthday a couple of days ago.
So you opened it one by one the eight signed copies of their new album, all different versions so you could add them all to your collection.
“Wait, wait”, Mingi said as you took out the last envelope with all the photocards and extra gifts. “Who do you want to pull?”
“Yunho, of course”.
“Boring”, Wooyoung said at the same time Yunho melted inside, a gorgeous smile on his face and the red on his ear.
Every envelope was now in front of you beside their designated albums, already opened. You saved the best for last, excited by the pulls you would get from Yunho’s version.
“You’ll have more lucky on this one”, he said and winked at you when no one was looking.
Your excitement was clear to anyone with at least 50% of eyesight. It was cute and a little gross, but you couldn’t care less about their distaste as you took a deep breath. It was that serious to you.
So you reveal them all at once onto the ground.
4 out of 4 was Hongjoong’s. You couldn’t say you were elated by them, not that you were upset either, but you already got them before, and you did wish to have the least a single of Yunho’s.
The boys couldn’t consider it a successful prank though, because you seemed the most upset in the room. It was kind of offensive if anyone would ask Hongjoong. Yunho was the one supposed to be upset in all of this, but he giggled through and through watching your reactions to their photocards, and now he was laughing!
“Yah, what? What’s wrong with my photocards?”, Hongjoong exclaimed as he pointed to them on your hands, a mixture between laughter and distress clear on his face. “They are cute, aren’t they?”, he went on and on about it as everyone laughed, but the moment you did, he almost killed you with his eyes only.
“Sorry”, you tried to keep a straight face.
Yunho and you shared a quick glance.
Mission failed.
Hiii! So I that you're having a 400 followers celebration (congrats!!!!!) and I was just wondering if i could request an imagine with Jongho x fem!reader where they go sledding on this huge hill and the reader makes him carry her and the sleds back up, but he ends up dropping her in a snowdrift to get revenge, so she pulls him in on top of her, and can it be really sweet and fluffy?? (maybe with hot drinks and cuddling afterwards?) I'm sorry if this is really scattered, I just got really excited when I saw your winter theme!
Thank you so much and congrats again!!!
N/A: This was such a fun challenge for myself, thank you so much for the request and the support <3 I hope you can't tell I knew nothing about sledding before this ask. Love you lots <3
A DAY SLEDDING WITH JONGHO — C.J.H. (FROM THE 400 FOLLOWERS EVENT)
(Pictures are not mine, credit to the rightful owners)
Ateez Masterlist
It was his idea.
You knew Jongho as an active person, his frequency on the gym was a great indicator of that. However, there wasn’t much else he could do as an idol, it was always a high stake whenever he went out of the house for anything, really. So when he got the chance to do something different, you were glad to come along and enjoy the moment.
He ran to you out of the blue to tell you about one of the WANTEEZ episodes they were going to film on the weekend, a few special winter episodes. His excitement was clear, because he was rambling on and on about the trip.
“So Yunho-yah said they were going to let us stay the re- hey, why aren’t you paying attention?”, his big and shiny eyes suddenly glaring at you, still, there was a small smile grazing his face.
“I’m paying attention to you”, you were beyond amused. “You are just too cute like that”, you grinned as you said it.
“Oh you-”, he said and cringed hard at those words, looking down while covering his face with both hands. You could giggle as you watched him hid his blush. “Do you think you’re funny?”, he looked up at you.
You shrugged as you stopped giggling, trying to maintain a serious facade.
He took a deep breath as he sat straight again, staring at you with a soft smile on his face. “I was going to ask you to come too, but now I’m not sure anymore”, he crossed his arms, while looking away like he didn’t care, but oh he did, a lot.
“Sooo, you’re not going to show me the hugeee park you are going to?”
You opened the Pandora box all over again.
The truth was, you never went sledding before. You thought you knew what to expect, but even through layers and layers of warm clothes, from your ears to your toes, you felt the shivering cold ready to freeze your entire body. Winter was always brutal in Korea, but it just became another level as you traveled higher up the mountains.
When you arrived only a few hours after them, the park was already re-opened after filming and there were families coming little by little to fill up the place. So you sent a text to Jongho to confirm the met-up location, the bottom of the first hill or “oh, the one for children” like one of the workers said to you after giving you the right directions. Yeah, that wasn’t embarrassing at all.
You took your time to appreciate the view, not worried that he was taking a bit to answer you. All the photos did not make the place justice. It was truly bigger than you imagined and further away, you could see the highest hill of the total 3 of them. The untouched white and fluffy snow glistened trailing the recent cleaned path to the hills, restaurant, and parking lot.
You were well on your way when your phone buzzed on your padding coat.
‘The hyungs asked me to join them on the highest hill, let’s meet at the bottom there’
The cute bear emoji right after the text was a little suspicious. Jongho would rather die before sending you anything other than his dry texts, but maybe he thought he could distract you with a curve ball, so you did not mind it.
Of course, you were a little upset, because now you had to take a whole turn and walk further away than you planned to, and maybe he knew that.
Another buzz.
‘I’ll do anything you want to’.
It was too late for Jongho to say Wooyoung was the one who sent that, you already saw it.
‘Then carry me all the way up to the hill’.
It was a fast reply. ‘Deal’.
That was when you knew it was someone else, but that’s not your problem, right?
Jongho did carry you, he was a man of his and apparently everyone else’s words, but he did while complaining the entire time. Not about you though, no, he carried you like you weighted less than snowflakes, it was about that little bastard Jeong Woo-
You thought he was going to roll Wooyoung down the hill at some point, because he kept going around Jongho to provoke even further.
It was safe to say, you could never be bored with those two together and your stomach hurt after laughing so much.
So, it was finally your turn. There were enough space for two people, one for both of you and another for Wooyoung and Seonghwa, the loser on rock, paper, scissors that had to carry the sleds.
You felt that familiar nervousness when you sat. Then you felt Jongho behind you, his hands holding you tighter against him, so you let yourself relax.
Up there, right on the edge, you could see everything. You wanted to say something cliché that would make Jongho cringe for days or maybe take a picture to remember the day by, but suddenly you were moving, and your vision blurred as the scenery passed by faster and faster.
Both of you were screaming, and the wind hit you hard, it was the only two things you knew for sure. You blinked the tears away as you tried to focus on the path in front of you, it was easy to stay on the sled since it was a straight line, no trees, no big rocks, no nothing.
“Turn a bit to the left”, Jongho screamed.
“Huh?”, you screamed back, looking back at him.
“Left”, he said it as loud as he could.
That you did, only then you saw the snowdrift.
For a moment you thought you lost your balance, but you felt a push on your right shoulder, and you held tight onto his left arm.
You did not have time to scream as you hit the snow on your back and Jongho fell on top of you, his torso covering yours as the boys laughed at the scene that happened right in front of them.
“Fancy to see you here”, you said as you tried to hold back your laughter.
“아 시… (oh fuc…)”, he hid his face on your neck, or trying to hide his blush or too embarrassed by you to face you. That was always your best revenge against him, and once again, it was perfect.
Your laugh was unstoppable at that point and so was his.
You do not know how much time you actually stayed there, but the moment he moved to get up, you only made the effort to give him your hand.
The sled was too far down, so there was an only way down, and you were not walking it.
Jongho only sighed as he took you into his arms, carrying you on his back and also the sled, when you finally got there.
“This is my price always now every time you are mean to me”.
“Am I being mean to you?”, he asked, and you nodded, pouting, putting a lot of effort on your aegyo. “How about a warm blanket and a cup of hot chocolate? Now, am I not mean?”
“Hum, I’ll think about it after the hot chocolate”.

The snow crunched under your feet as you walked up to your parents' home.
Christmas had just passed—although both your mom and dad were out of the area, having the time of their lives in the warmth of another country. You envied them, but you were happy to be back in town after a rough breakup and a messy semester.
When you walked in the door with a bag of groceries and now covering your eyelashes, your little brother Wooyoung sat on the couch in the living room, star-shaped shades on his face and a shiny jacket over his bare chest.
“What….why are you dressed like that?” you inquired, shoving your snowy shoes off your feet.
He stared at you blankly. “Are you stupid?”
You scoffed, walking past him to put the bag of groceries away—groceries that were solely for baking cookies. A perfect way to spend the night.
He stood up and followed you in. “Y/n, it’s New Year's Eve. How else should I be dressed?”
You forgot about it. All of it. It already pained you that you were alone this new Year after spending four of them with the same man.
You shoved the bag of flour into the cabinet aggressively. “I don't know, not like a disco ball? That jacket is gonna get puked on and ruined.”
He looked over at you, noticing your distaste. “Are you…..is Soobin, you know, coming in for the holiday? He already missed Christmas.”
Soobin decided to dump you for reasons unknown. You believed it was because he was chasing his dream of becoming an idol, and he couldn't have a bunch of sexy baggage like you, so you let him lose you.
But if that wasn't the case and he broke up for you for the hell of it, you would strangle that stupid hot boy and let him pay for his crime of losing the best he’s ever had.
Anyway…
“Oh, we broke up,” you shoved the stuff around in the cabinet, hoping to distract your brother from the horrible news. You didn't tell him the whole time you've been home. You've been avoiding it—it was already embarrassing to be dumped, more so around Christmas.
It did not, in fact, distract him.
“Holy fuck, really?” he leaned forward, intrigued. “Why? What did he do?”
“Oh, you know,” you bit the corner of your lip, trying not to look like you were lying straight through your teeth. “He’s chasing his dream. I broke up with him so he didn't have to struggle with the girlfriend baggage and all. He was so heartbroken….”
Woo blinked.
“Oh, girl,” he offered a sincere smile. Well, as sincere as wooyoung could possibly get. “He dumped your ass, didn't he?”
You stared at him for a second. You couldn't get past him—he’s seen breakups way too many times with San by his side.
“Yep.”
You stood there in silence for a minute or two, trying your best not to reminisce on your relationship—even though you were over him. It wasn't even about Soobin; rather, it was the aching feeling of being someone’s number two. A career, an understandable priority, still felt like a slap in the face to you, as you were less important in his eyes. You can joke with yourself and others all you want—but you crave that feeling of being someone’s pride and joy. Someone’s only thought when the world is about to end.
“Welp,” Woo sighed, not knowing what to say. “I have to head out soon. I’m meeting up with San and Yeosang to head to the party.”
You sighed, leaning against the counter behind you. “Have fun.”
He pondered for a second, sticking his tongue into the inside of his cheek. “Wanna come with us?” he asked.
You shook your head, already not feeling like doing anything—especially anything involving…..San. “No, no, you go have fun,” you smiled at him as best as you could.
He nodded, but gave you a look of worry before he left the kitchen.
You followed him like a lost puppy as he tossed his shoes on in the doorway, struggling to bring his chucks over his heel—his frat shoes, as he likes to express. The shoes he doesn't mind puking on. You watched in enjoyment as he wrestled his shoes.
“I’ll be back later,” he ruffled your hair tenderly, but the grimace on his face felt like he wanted to tackle you—in a playful way, of course.
“Be safe—”
He shut the door with a smirk before you finished your sentence.
—
“A sudden storm will be rising upon us within the next hour or so, with wind gusts up to……”
You could hardly hear the TV from the kitchen as you blasted Christmas music, flour on every square inch of you. You were baking—your favorite hobby. It’s been a while since you were able to bake carefree, and now that you had an unlimited amount of free time, you were going to bake as much as you missed out on.
As you shoved in another pan of cookies into the oven, you heard the door open and shut loudly, so loud that you were able to hear it over your music.
“Wooyoung, what the hell?” you grumbled, your back turned from the doorway as you fixed up the already baked cookies to cool. “Can you slam that shit any louder? And aren't you supposed to be at a party?”
Silence. No response.
“I said, aren't you supposed to be—”
And when you turned around, it was most definitely not wooyoung in the kitchen doorway.
You dropped a cookie onto the floor.
“Well,” San smirked, his grey hood covering his dark hair, his lips curled sexily, and his eyebrows raised. “Aren't you a beauty?”
You stood there in a flour-covered apron, flour-covered hair, face, and everything in between, looking at the man across the kitchen table.
“San,” you breathed, brushing your hands off on your apron and bending down quickly to pick up the dropped cookie. “What are you doing here? Wooyoung told me he was meeting up with you.”
“To see you, of course,” He purred, taking a step closer to you. He walked around the table to get to where you were standing, and not surprisingly, he lifted a finger to the corner of your lips and then continued to taste it on his own.
You shivered in what you wished was disgust.
His eyes lit up as he tasted it, licking his lips. “Mmm. Chocolate?” he hummed, leaning against the counter next to you. He pulled down his hood to reveal his messy, silky black hair. “You've always been such a great baker.”
“You scoffed, turning back to the stove to check on your cooling cookies. “Why are you here?”
“You just asked me that.”
“Yeah, but you didn't answer correctly.”
“I’m here to see you, baby,” he leaned forward.
You leaned back.
“Ha!” you laughed sarcastically, picking up your spatula to wield it like a weapon in his direction. When you met his gaze, you felt your stomach drop from his pretty smile and his sickening gaze. “Wooyoung isn't here, alright? So you better leave, or I will kick you out—”
“I’ll just wait here for him until he gets back.” San shrugged, stealing a cookie before running away from the kitchen.
You followed him into the living room, tracking your flouriness all over the place. “Can't you just go home? I don't understand why—”
He was standing in front of the TV as your voice trailed off. Apparently, there was a huge storm that no one saw coming. San watched intently as he snacked happily on the cookie as if finding out that there was a blizzard outside was the best news he’d ever heard.
“A blizzard?” you freaked out, running up to the screen right next to him. After watching for a few moments, you went to the window, looking out to see the roads completely covered and the wind blowing a dusting of white all over the place.
“Oh….I didn't see that coming,” San’s irritatingly attractive voice spoke from right behind you, and when you turned around, he stood with a sinister smile on his face.
“You should go, for real,” you sighed, looking up into his eyes before moving your gaze anxiously. “Before you can't.”
He peered over your shoulder, letting out a puff of air. “I don't think I can drive back on the roads like this….” he sighed, tilting his head at you. “It's too dangerous.”
You blinked, trying your hardest not to cave into those lustrous cat-like eyes. He blinked at you now, his expression unreadable.
It's been ages since you saw this man—ages, and he still treats you as if you were best buddies all your life. In reality, you've never once liked the guy. His hair pissed you off, his crooked smile boiled your blood, and god, his ears? Why were they so cute? How can ears be cute? Don't get yourself started on his lips…..lips that you….may have kissed once or twice all those years ago.
He never talked about it, so you just ignored it.
And now that you were thinking about his lips, your eyes dropped down to them, and when you realized, you cleared your throat and brought your gaze back up to his eyes.
“If you stay, you have to act like you're not here,” you breathed, crossing your arms over your messy apron. He looked down—down at your cleavage and smirked. “Eyes up here, mister.”
He hesitated to move his gaze, and when he did, your stomach flipped once more—god, maybe you just needed to get laid. It's been ages since you had a good fuck….
No. what were you thinking? No. no, no. Stop it.
You took a second to gain your thoughts before speaking again. “Just… don't do anything until wooyoung gets here.”
He stood close to you, looking down with those seductive eyes, his smile blindingly attractive. He didn't even need to speak to make your knees weak—which was probably why you hated him so much.
He bent his head to get closer to you, that smile still on his face.
“Can I speak, master?” he nearly moaned, biting the corner of his lip. “I feel like it would be unfortunate to remain silent during our….reuniting time.”
You let out a little chuckle. “What? Reuniting time?” you uncrossed your arms. “That's funny. We were never close enough to unite in the first place.”
“Oh, y/n,” he purred, reaching out to twirl a finger around your hair. You wanted to run away. Your mind told you to, but everything else craved him—as it always has. “I would say we united many times, haven't we?”
He looked like he wanted to grab you as tight as he could and swallow you whole—but the conflict in his eyes said no. you watched his eyes dance around you, how his hand froze mid-air within your hair, and his lips flat in a line.
And it took everything in you to move away from him.
You took a step back, watching his eyes drop to your feet.
“You can stay,” you coughed, looking anywhere but him. “But don't…don’t bother me. Don't talk about….uniting, or reuniting, or whatever…..” you huffed, giving him one last look before running into the kitchen, only to find the cookies in the oven burnt to a crisp.
And once again, the cycle began. San’s enchantment was whirling around you, capturing everything in its wake. Your heart never belonged to you—no, it always belonged to him.
And he will make sure you will never forget it.
—
San sat at the table, watching you intently as you made another batch of cookie dough.
“How’s school?” he asked you, his voice soft.
You shrugged, stirring the dough with your bare hand, as there was no mixer. “It's fine, same same.”
He nodded, his chin held up by his palm. You continued to mix the dough.
“How’s what's his name? Soo—Soomin? Soojin? Soo–”
“Soobin?” you asked, trying not to smile at his obvious distaste.
He nodded, a frown on his lips.
You didn't get to respond as your phone interrupted the conversation.
“Ugh,” you huffed, holding your dough-covered hands in the air, unable to get your phone in your pocket. “Can you…can you get my phone for me?”
San stood up. “Where is it?”
You pointed to your back pocket. “There, in my pocket.”
When he got next to you, he hesitated on reaching to get it, but when you gave him the death stare, his gentle hand glided down your back, down your ass, and to your pocket. You froze at his touch and nearly missed the phone call from your mess of emotions.
He answered the call for you and held it up to your ear.
“Hello?”
“Oh, thank god,” wooyoung breathed. “Don't go anywhere, alright?”
You scoffed, looking down at your dough-covered hands and your filthy clothes. “Ah, I wouldn't worry about me going anywhere. I’m definitely not fit for an outing.”
Wooyoung didn't laugh like his normal self. “For real, don't go anywhere. I won't be home for a good while because of the storm, so make sure you stay safe and warm.”
“Awe, I didn't know you cared so much about me,” you cooed, but when you saw San’s little smile at your words, you immediately swallowed hard, lost in thoughts you shouldn't be having while you're on the phone.
“Anyway, just be safe,” Woo sighed, taking a breath in. “I’ll be living off this shitty-ass beer and stale cookies. These sons of bitches are so cheap I swear—”
Without warning, the lights flickered slightly.
And then they went completely off, leaving you and San with no lights, no power, no anything.
“What the fuck—”
“For fucks sake,” San hissed, catching him off guard. Wooyoung, however, perked up the minute he heard a man.
“Who’s there with you? I heard a voice?”
“Oh, it’s just San,” you mumbled, looking up at him, where his eyes even sparkled in the dark. You forgot your train of thought for a moment. “He came here looking for you.”
“Yeah, right. That dude’s been obsessed with seeing you ever since he knew you were coming home. What a little pussy. He had to make up a lie to come over? Pfft—”
“Ah, oh no, looks like we lost service too—you’re breaking up—” San coughed, and after a moment of time for wooyoung to react, he hit the end button, tossing your phone onto the counter with haste.
You gave him a funny look as he tried to ignore your gaze. The room was extremely dark—not a single light source other than the little bluish glow from your home screen on your phone.
You had no idea what to say to him; he didn't know what to say, either. You just stood in the dark kitchen, the oven at a standstill, and so were your feelings. He was looking down at his feet, trying his hardest not to look at you—although it was too dark to see you, anyway.
“Guess I’m done baking,” you hummed, giving him a slight look of curiosity before you took the cookies out of the cold oven.
“Yeah, that won't work now,” he muttered quietly, very much unlike his usual dickhead way of speaking. He swallowed hard, too close to you.
You stood strong right in front of him, your body telling you to grab him by the neck and kiss those gorgeous lips of his. Maybe you were just that desperate to feel something after your breakup—or maybe you always wanted San—either way, you were so close to giving in to your desire, but you pushed yourself away and took off your apron slowly.
“You never….you never answered my question earlier.”
You set the apron down on the counter next to your phone. It shut off now, leaving you in complete darkness, with San only a shadow in front of you.
You frowned, but you couldn't see the look on his face in front of you. “What question?”
“About how Soobin is?”
You scoffed, trying your best to look up into San’s eyes. You saw them sparkle slightly, and you stared into them. “So you do know his name.”
“I really don't care what his name is, y/n,” he grumbled, taking a step closer to you.
You smiled, knowing by the tone of his voice that he was aggravated. “Well, if you must know, I really don't know how he is.”
San grew quiet, but you heard him take a breath in. “what do you mean?”
“We broke up, so I wouldn't know how he is, alright?” you hissed at him, but only to get a reaction out of him—god, you didn't know what you’d do if what wooyoung said was true—that if San came here to see you, that he was waiting to see you for ages, that he’s irritated over the fact you’ve had a boyfriend—all of it would send you into a spiral. You always told yourself you'd need to be completely wasted to even think of San in a new light….but here in the dark, with his hot breath caressing your cheeks, you were ready to say fuck it to your facade.
He didn't say anything for a while. He just stood there, his one hand leaning against the table to hold himself up.
“You…broke up with him?” he hummed quietly.
“Mhm,” you nodded, tilting your head up to try and meet his gaze.
He swallowed, nodding. “Mmm. I see,” he smiled—at least it looked like he did. “Nice.”
“Nice?” you furrowed your brows.
“Well, I mean, I never liked the guy, so—”
“Why?”
“I don't know—”
“Yes, you do know,” you took a step even closer, causing him to catch his breath. “What’s the reason?”
He sighed, his breath dancing across your skin. “Well, like, two years ago or so, when we were out at the bar,” San took a second to form what he wanted to say, and you stood and looked up at him without a blink. “He got you a drink with Malibu in it.”
You blinked, confused. “So? I don't even remember that San, I don't know why you're bringing that up—”
“Because you hate coconut, y/n,” he interrupted you, his tone of voice exasperated. “And you hate going to bars—they stress you out. You didn't even finish the drink before he got you another and didn't even care to know what you liked…so I didn't like him.”
You stood there, mouth slightly dropped after his words.
That was enough of a confession for you.
“So….you didn't like him because he got me a coconut drink or….” you reached out, your fingers delicately draping over his that were resting on the table. He jumped slightly at your touch as if he was never expecting it. “Or because you could do better than him?”
San remained still as you let your fingers glide up his arm, feeling the softness of his hoodie that you wished to take off.
“....I think you know why I didn't like him….” He breathed.
You leaned forward in the dark, your gaze piercing right into his. Your hand met the base of his neck, sending shivers down his spine from the coldness of them. He let out a sound of pleasure at your touch, your other hand meeting his waist.
You didn't say anything else. You just wanted to fall into him, even with the consequences; it didn't matter what would happen tomorrow. He was breathing shallowly, his lips parted, begging you to kiss them as if he was waiting forever.
And as if they knew the timing, the lights flickered back on, revealing a lovestruck San—his eyes hazy with desire and his expression out of a book.
His fingertips found their home on the side of your cheek, holding your face gently, carefully, as if you were glass.
You were less than an inch away from his lips, but before you pressed them to his, you stepped back, knowing that you were a filthy mess—you didn't want him to spend this time with you while you were embarrassingly messy.
“I….” you paused, pulling away from his hold. “I…need to shower,” you mumbled, giving him a look.
He blinked slowly. “A…shower?”
“Yeah.”
With one last look at him, you saw the hesitation in his eyes. You walked past him, brushing up against him before you walked up the steps.
And before you got to the bathroom at the end of the hall, you heard his clunky footsteps make their way up the creaky stairs.
“Wait, hold on,” he huffed, grabbing your wrist to turn you around. “What was that?”
You looked at him innocently. “What was what?”
He furrowed his brows. “You know, that.”
You shrugged, fighting the smile that begged to arise. “What?”
He groaned, dropping your hand in a fit. “You were going to kiss me.”
You tilted your head, playing with him. “Was I?”
“Were you not?”
“I don't know.”
“Yes, you do know! You were literally about to kiss me—”
“And what if I was?” you whispered, your eyes slanted with mischief. He looked at you, his own expression changing from confusion to….well, more confusion.
He bit his bottom lip.
“Am I supposed to follow you into the shower?”
You smiled, letting him decide what you wanted him to do.
With a curt turn, you opened the bathroom door, leaving it open a crack, inviting him in.
You took off your messy top, covered in flour. You waited patiently, taking off your bra and your pants, and all that was left was your panties before he entered abruptly.
“Listen, you can't leave that door open and not expect me to—oh,” he paused, his breath shaky.
You stood unmovingly, facing him.
And with a slight scoff, he ran towards you.
“Fuck it,” he huffed, slamming his body into yours, swallowing you with his whole being.
His lips caressed yours, biting your tongue, shoving his own into your mouth. You took in a sharp breath as he sucked on your soul, his hand finding your breast to squeeze it tightly.
“God, I’ve been waiting to do that forever,” he groaned against your mouth, his other hand playing with the hem of your underwear. With one quick motion, he pulled them down, falling onto your ankles as you stepped out of them.
You smiled into his kiss, tearing away at his hoodie before he pulled it over his head, leaving him shirtless and full of glory. You parted away from his lips, kissing down his chest, over his mounds of muscle, until your knees hit the floor.
He froze under your touch, your fingertips gliding over his hard-on. You grinned devilishly up at him, his expression in a mess of excitement and nervousness. Him? Nervous? Impossible.
You pulled down his pants as swiftly as you could, causing him to hiss sharply. He was fully on display for you now, his cock pulsing and ready for you. You grazed your fingers from his base to his tip; then you took it in your mouth without a warning.
He grunted, immediately gripping the hair on top of your head, tossing his own back with aggression. His little moans were music to your ears; not once did you ever believe you'd hear them—he looked so fuckable. So desirable. He always did, which explains why he was your first-ever kiss, why you always thought back to him when you were with Soobin, why you couldn't avoid his charms even though you so desperately tried.
He moaned your name—said it with such haste as if he couldn't hold back. As if he’s wanted this for ages. He leaned into your mouth, moving his hips slightly to push himself in deeper. You let out a gag, causing him to moan once more, making you smile against his cock.
You moved back and forth on him, no hands in sight. You glanced up at him through your eyelashes as you pressed your lips at the base of his dick, watching his eyes close tight and his chest heave.
“God fuck,” he huffed, his fingers tying knots in your hair, causing tears to build up behind your eyes. You liked it—loved it—his touch was ecstasy.
Without a minute to waste, San pulled you upward and off of him, just for him to press his lips to yours, reaching backward to turn the knob on the hot water.
You giggled against his lips as he almost fell. He smiled back, teeth clashing into yours as he pressed his bare skin to yours. You both stepped into the shower, not even caring that the water wasn't warm enough yet.
His tongue slid down your throat, caressing the roof of your mouth, exploring the uncharted territory. Water spilled over your heads, dripping down your faces, drenching your hair. His hand gripped the back of your head as he slammed you into the wall of the shower, causing you to gasp.
He pulled away for a second, his eyes heavy, his lips parted as water dripped down his beautiful face. He pressed his forehead against yours—feeling as though this scene was all he’d ever wanted; it was premeditated—not a quick decision.
He blinked away the water, smiling before enveloping you in another kiss—this time, it was less lustful and more desperate. He breathed into your soul, his hands cradling your face with all the tender care he could muster. His breaths were shaky, and his hold on you was tight, as if there was somehow, someway, you would break away from his embrace.
You bit into his lip, your hands never finding a home as they explored all the planes of his body. He grunted as you reached for his dick, his eyes glimmering at your expression. No words were needed—he gave you one last look before flipping you around, shoving your face into the fall, and sticking his dick into your entrance. His lips were nibbling at your ear, his hot breath delicately stroking your body and soul.
He didn't push past your entrance just yet—no, but his fingers did. They glided over your clit from the back, your breasts aching from being pressed against the tile. He let out a little hum of a moan into your ear as his fingers entered you, two of them. You whimpered in delight, the movements turning you on more and more. You felt yourself getting wetter and wetter, his fingers curling up inside you, his shallow breaths echoing in your mind.
You couldn't take it anymore—you needed him inside you, now.
“I need you in me,” you moaned against the tile, tilting your head slightly to see his expression. “Now, please. God, please.”
He smirked, moving you now to the far wall, your back still to him. You nearly slammed your head into the wall as he moved you.
“As you wish,” he breathed, his voice dripping with lust, with love, with unknown feelings. With a quick movement, he shoved his dick inside you, causing you to arch your back from the fill. You cried out, holding onto the wall as he gripped your hips, moving rhythmically and melodicly. You furrowed your brows in pleasure, muttering his name. “Oh, San,” you moaned, causing him to move even faster.
The water crashed onto you, making you feel even higher than ever were before. The heat of it was scolding now, but nothing beat how hot San made you feel—he was indeed a genius in the manner of lovemaking, a god, at that. You knew why, everyone knew why, but you didn't care at the moment. The only thing you cared about was his body on yours, in yours, all around you.
You were reaching your high, your vision hazy. You let out a cry, a huff, something to show that you were enjoying him, and he made a sound, too.
As you reached your climax, you arched your back even more, shoving your face against the wall, your forehead thumping against it with every thrust of his. You came on his dick then, your body fighting the urge to shake from the feeling he supplied you.
He felt it—you knew it, as he quickened his pace, his breaths becoming more uneven as the time went on, your body tightening around him. He hissed sharply, thrusting with grace until he emptied himself into you, coating you, becoming one within you.
He collapsed into you, against the wall, his dick slipping out from you. He huffed, catching his breath as the bathroom filled with steam and sweat. You turned around in his embrace, his head falling onto your shoulder with a thud.
And then he started to laugh.
A laugh so beautiful, so….raw. You began to laugh with him, smiling as you grabbed his cheeks to lift up his head—so he could see you.
His eyes were red, but they sparkled with so much emotion that you wondered how he was feeling.
“So,” you smiled, watching the water from the showerhead drip over his black hair. “Happy New Year, I guess?”
He smiled—a smile that made you want to stop everything.
And then his eyes widened. “What time is it?”
You frowned. “I don't know, my phone is downstairs,” you whispered, locking eyes with him.
He paused for a moment, not knowing what to do, or at least that’s what you believed until he leaned forward and brushed his lips to yours ever so gently.
A kiss for a lover. A kiss more meaningful than sex could offer.
He pulled away, but only slightly, as his forehead rested against yours. “Happy New Year,” he kissed you again. “Just in case it is midnight. You haven't been my New Year’s kiss since years ago, you know.”
You didn't know what to say—you weren't sure where he was going with this, as you had never brought up your kiss with him before. He spoke cautiously, yet without caution at all.
“I….well,” you swallowed hard, looking up at him shyly. “You can be my….new years kiss every year, if you’d like.”
He smiled—grinned like a wild animal at your words.
“Well, if you don't mind, I’d like to kiss you more than once a year.” he grabbed you by the waist swiftly, smirking,
You giggled like you were experiencing this for the first time. In all honesty, you may be. No one has ever made you feel this way. You never wanted anything more.
With a flirty smile, you leaned forward into his embrace, the shower hissing in the background of your confessions.
“I would love that.” you nodded, looking up into his eyes.
He looked like a dream, his hair wet, his eyes bright. You couldn't wait to share more New Year's kisses with him, more showers, more cookies. You wanted everything and more—even if you didn't exactly know it quite just yet.
He was your everything—Your heart never belonged to you—no, it always belonged to him. And you will never forget it.
IM SO GLAD YOU DOOO ❤️❤️
I definitely don't write enough for Jongho. His personality is always so so fun to write, so your request was welcomed with opened arms! Thank you again for the support, and know that my asks are always open for you, baee

OKAY SO, I HAVE AN IDEA
You guys know that stereotypical bad boy vibes right? The 'let me seduce you leaning against the wall and show you my arms on purpose so you can't resist me'.
Imagine THAT and an assexual reader who's like 'so man actually do that to get laid, it wasn't a joke' when they notice his intentions directed to them.
And he's sooo frustrated it's not working (literally tried every single trick on the book) and the reader doesn't look affected at all, more amused than anything. BUT with time, the reader develops a little soft spot for him and it actually becomes something more!
STOP I'M 😭😭😭😭😭 *some deep breaths*

The Cat and The Fox II
The Cat and The Fox III
I never even considered adopting nor fostering a cat in all the 25 years of my life, so why do I have a gray cat laid down on my couch, licking his fur without any worry in the world, as if that was his rightful place since the start?
I just had a simple wish, to get home as fast as possible, take a shower and then sleep for at the very least 3 hours, but that seemed like a lot to ask. My living room was a mess. My rugs out of place, all of my decorations, cushions and photo-frames were on the floor, the latter ones were broken and there was glass all scattered on the floor and… blood? Yes. Drops of blood leaving the living room to the kitchen. I was paralyzed by the door, my jaw on the floor. Then I saw it, the window by my work table was open and all of my notebooks and computer were untouched, but I couldn’t say the same for my papers, the small pile scattered on the floor as the cherry on top.
I let the door open, just in case I’d need to run out. It could be a fox, a raccoon or worse. I walked through the living room, but I couldn’t hear a thing besides my own heart ringing in my ears.
I wasn’t a monster, of course I like most animals and would never wish for something to hurt them on purpose, but if I had to choose, please, can it be gone or dead just this once? Maybe it wasn’t even here anymore, which would be the best I could get out of this, but what are the chances? There was only a single way out, the window.
As I made my way to the kitchen, following the blood, I heard a screech, then a meow? A cat meowing? Then, something gray ran through my legs, while a red thing ran after it, or so I thought, but the red animal ran to the opposite direction, while the gray animal hid itself under the couch. I caught sight of a blurry red fluffy tail leaving through the open door, it was a fox, a bleeding one, as I saw the drops it left on my floor.
I ran to close the door and looked through the peephole, the fox was gone, then I heard another meow, softer and lower this time. The gray cat had only its head out, looking to the door and then to me. I stayed still as he kept staring, judging, something I expect of all cats, but then he hid again as I took a step closer.
Clearly, I didn’t pass the vibe check.
“Yo-”, I took a deep breath. “Ok, I get that you’re scared, just stay there, ok? I’ll clean this mess.”
I tried to be fast, not only because I wanted to be done as soon as possible, but also the cat could get out and hurt itself, if it wasn’t hurt in the first place already. The first step was to clean the glass the best I could - I knew I would find little glass pieces for the rest of the week in the most random places. The second step was way faster, to organize the living room and put the trash outside. The blood was the real nightmare, and I didn’t even consider getting rid of it all at that point. The little stain on the carpet would remind me constantly of what happened that day.
While I rushed to one side of the house to the other, I kept an eye on the couch, yet I didn’t see it or its head at all. Was the cat that scared and overwhelmed? Maybe it was truly hurt, the fox chased it after all.
I looked at the couch and debated being a complete asshole for a moment. I could just take my shower and go to sleep, right? But what if it was true injured, and it gets worse because I wasn’t fast enough? The cat could take its sweet time destroying everything too. I didn’t wait another second to get my first-aid kit.
“Kitty?”, I said as I took a seat, one foot away from the couch.
I laid down on the ground to take a look under it, just to make sure it was still there, and it was. At the very back of the couch, I could barely see anything beside its shape, its head laid on one paw, the other one was hidden, and its brownish eyes looking at me. The cat glued on the wall, and it didn’t seem excited to leave it anytime soon.
“You are hurt, aren’t you? It must hurt a lot, right?”, I whispered as I laid my head on my right arm, still laid on the ground, almost at the same position the cat was.
It meowed as it followed all of my movements.
“Yeah, I’d love to know if that was a yes or a no.”
I pulled the aid kit to my side, in front of the couch. “Look, I want to help you, can you please not bite me?”, I asked as I reached for it under the couch to try and give my hands for him to sniff.
I closed my eyes, ready for the inevitable, yet I didn’t come, but it also didn’t sniff me. “Hey, I’m trying to be friendly here, isn’t that how people do?”, I said as I took my hand away.
I looked under the couch again, the cat was in the same position.
“Okay, this isn’t going to work…”, I reached further under the couch until I could feel his fur.
I heard the scared meows and waited for the worst, but the cat stayed still and let me pull it out without much fight, for my own surprise. I let my hands open and light, so I wouldn’t hurt it. The poor thing was paralyzed in my hand and looked at me with the same fear I looked at him with.
I got up and sat on the floor, slow, to not scare him more than I already did. I didn’t know what to do for a moment as we just look at each other. If this cat was a person, this would classify as one of the most awkward moment of my life. He ended up on my lap.
“It’s okay, kitty. I won’t hurt you”, I said, as I let my right hand in front of him to sniff on his own time.
He was hesitant to even get close to my hand, body stiff while I held him with my left hand, but as soon as he realized I wouldn’t move, he took a step to finally sniff me, and when he was finished, sat on my thighs and I released him, more confident that he wouldn’t immediately run to hide again.
I blinked the sleepiness away and took my time to search for any visible injures without touching him more than necessary. His paws were still hid under his body the whole time, and my best guess was he still was too hesitant of me to be 100% comfortable. He wasn’t wearing a collar, and I couldn’t even imagine what he went through alone in the streets to be this scared, but the weird thing it’s he wasn’t seriously injured as far as I could see.
“Did that fox chased after you and you scared him away, kitty?”, I said as I petted him slowly on his head.
He meowed and purred nonstop, and I didn’t dare to stop for a single moment. I realized he started to lean his head on my hands, his eyes were closed, and his body laid on my stomach.
“A cuddly one, I see”, I smiled as I looked down on him. “I’m almost about to forgive you for that mess you left me earlier”.
I couldn’t help, but think he was adorable. He moved his head constantly to find the exact spot he wanted me to scratch and as soon as I found it, that specific spot behind his ears, I felt his body melt on mine once for all.
I don’t even remember how long I stayed like that, but my wrist already hurt, and my eyes were too heavy to keep them open. The purring sounded calming for some reason, and I felt the stress leaving me as time went by, but I had to stop, and he didn’t like that one bit.
“I can pet you later”, I said as I walked to my bedroom.
I thought he would be happy in the living room, or he would be back to hide under the couch, but he followed me around to my room, to the kitchen, to the bathroom - and he even threw a little tantrum when I closed the door and didn’t let him in, he scratched the door, but stopped as soon as I turn the water on.
Is that even the same cat that hid under my couch? He must have an owner then, because there's no way a cat is this friendly and trusting to strangers and lived on the streets for long. He must have lost his way home being chased by that fox or something like that, but then he had to have a collar. Maybe someone stole it? No, there's no way someone is that cruel and dead inside.
I saw him sitting by the doorstep of my room, right in front of the bathroom, with those big bright brown eyes shining looking up at me. My heart melted as I picked him up, again, with a lot of care, but he snuggled in my arms immediately without a single care in the world. His cold nose hid into my chest and I petted his sweet spot, while I walked downstairs.
"You must be hungry…can cats eat normal food?"
He meowed, and I looked down at him. He was nestled in my arms while looking at my face, then he blinked slowly, then hid again in my chest.
Well, that didn't help much, but it was adorable, so I'll excuse it this time.
I looked up the foods cats could eat, and it turns out, it's much more than I thought, however I would have to boil almost everything I had at home and that would take way more time than to buy cat food in the convenience store nearby.
"Okay, kitty. I have to buy some food for you, so you have to stay here alone for a little bit", I said in a soft tone of voice.
I felt his eyes on me, yet he didn't protest as I put him on the ground, then I verified if the windows were all closed this time. As I walked to the door, I expected some kind of protest or whining, but he only walked to the door with me.
"I see, are you scouting me out of my own house? Is that it?"
As soon as I opened the door, he ran out. I froze by the door as he went straight to the side of the house, and before I could lose sight of him, I ran too. I couldn’t even think at that moment. The corner of the house was narrow and led to the small backward, and there was nothing there besides some old stuff I still had to throw out. I didn’t expect to see the cat snicking in one of the old boxes.
“Kitty?”
The cat stood beside that red fox inside the box. The fox laid there, and it didn’t move as I got closer, and I wasn’t sure if it was conscious. Only then I noticed the trail of blood on the tiles, coming from the backward. I heard scratches on the box, and focused back on them. The cat looked at me, and it seemed desperate as it meowed louder and louder.
“I know, I know”, I said as I tried to pick up the box, a little bit scared of the fox still, since it could attack me at any point, yet it didn’t move. “Come on, I’ll take care of you”, I whispered.
The fox opened its eyes, and I stopped in my tracks. It was too close of me already, it could attack me or run, maybe I should have run, but I was stunned by the brightness of the yellow on its eyes. He was as still as me, and I felt like the world had stopped breathing for a bit, too.
The cat moved, and the fox cried out, that was what woke me up.
To my dear girls, guys and they's
One of my 2024 new year's resolution is to be a little more human on here, to interact and talk more with you all, soooo here I am.
I want to talk a little bit about me, so this is a open space of you want to ask me anything or just talk. My asks and messages are always open if you need some safe space as well!
So, English is not my first language and I hope not my last as well. I'm Brazilian writer trying to learn as much as I can. I actually have two short stories published so that's that.
My time is tight lately, because I work now, so yeyy to that and booo to my poor time management, that's why it's hard for me to have a schedule here. (I'm actually at work right now)
But I always try to post on Saturdays every two weeks, so if you are not tagged, Saturday is a good check day.
And I think that's it.
Excuse any errors, I couldn't grammar check this like I do on my works.
So so so adorable, the Hongjoong one made me a little delulu ngl

Hongjoong - The Clingy One
You were at Hongjoong's childhood house for the holidays celebrating Christmas with his family. There was a reason Hongjoong didn’t like drinking too much around his group members but you didn’t know what it was.
You would find out this Christmas when you made him a cocktail. Hongjoong’s family naturally welcomed you with open arms after he had made the revelation that you were a bartender.
They were tired of just drinking plain soju every year. When you got into the kitchen you made a multitude of holiday-themed alcoholic beverages.
“Here you go,” you said as you slid Hongjoong his fifth dirty snowman(spiked hot chocolate) of the night.
He was so lost in conversation with his cousins that he didn’t realize how much he had been drinking. That was until he wrapped his arm around your waist and nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck. “You good?” you asked him as you continued to make a drink for his mom.
“Yeah,” he murmured into your neck.
It was sweet but very out of character for him. He was very touchy but usually in private. You turned to look at him, noticing that he had the worst flush you had ever seen.
“Oh my god, Hongjoong, are you drunk?” you asked between giggles.
“Nooooo,” he denied as he hugged you again and kissed your neck.
“Yea you are,” you said laughing.
“Ugh, that’s my he always is, always hugging and saying ‘I love you’ when he’s drunk,” his mother chuckled as she came into the kitchen.
“You’re not going to be able to get him off for the rest of the night,” his cousin chimed in.
Although it was uncommon for Hongjoong to be this affectionate in public places it felt kind of nice.
On top of being clingy, he also got very quiet and gloomy when you were around and tried to lock himself in the cabinet??!!

Seonghwa - The Sleepy Beauty
The electricity was out and you and Seonghwa were curled up in front of your fireplace wrapped in a blanket building a Lego Death Star while keeping each other warm.
It was the most brutal snowstorm of the year. You could hear the screams and shouts of little children playing outside in the snow. The sounds of sled racing down the hill you lived on and the drip drip drop of the tap in the kitchen never really stopped. We have to get that checked out, you thought to yourself
You and Seonghwa made it a mission to try and finish the eggnog that was sitting in the fridge before it went bad. Once you got tired of the taste, you both decided to go for the wine instead. It was Christmas anyway.
"Finally," you sighed as the two of you finally finished the Death Star as well as two bottles of red wine.
"It looks amazing right Seonghwa?" you asked after hearing no response he felt something touch your lap.
Seonghwa had passed out just from drinking some wine. Or maybe you just could hold alcohol a lot better than he could. You felt really bad that you didn't slow down and make sure that he was okay.
You ran your hands through his hair slowly. You heard him hum at the relaxing feeling. "You're awake?" you asked.
"Hmm," he answered confirming he was still awake.
"Oh goodness, I thought you passed out," you sighed in relief.
You handed him water to help him sober up. He was still just very tired. You vaguely remember Hongjoon talking about how quiet and tired Seonghwa got whenever he was drunk.
The two of you curled up by the fireplace and napped for almost the rest of the day, one of your best Christmas' yet.

Yunho - The (Bad)Dancer
Once all the Christmas festivities came to an end and both of your families left your place you and Yunho were gassed. Of course, you enjoyed having both your families over but it was no easy feat hosting a holiday celebration.
Thankfully they had all left quite early but the two of you were bored and seeking some excitement. What better place to go than to a bar on Christmas night?
Most weren't open for the holidays but one was. The bar was mostly full of singles moping over beers, and old men watching soccer matches on the TV because half of the town lost their electricity.
The two of you took a seat at the be together. "Is that really you?" Sang-hee, your best friend and owner of the bar, quipped as she gave Yunho a nod hello.
"Merry Christmas Sang-hee, can we start with two milk and cookie shots and two Mrs. Claws Cocktails," you asked as you put your purse down.
"Of course, that on the house, but what are you two doing at a bar on Christmas night? Should you be getting freaky deaky by the fireplace?" she asked as you made your drinks.
The two of you laughed at her teasing feeling the heat rise up to your cheeks. "Just give us our drinks Snag-hee," you said, rolling your eyes playfully.
The two of you finished your drinks while talking your heads off with Sang-hee joining in occasionally. "Sang-hee, two peppermint bark shots please," Yunho said, feeling all giddy and tingly getting buzzed.
"I don't think I'll drink anymore, I still need to drive," you said as you sipped your water.
"Then I'll drink for you," Yunho reassured as he took your shot.
He started to stagger a bit and slur his words and you realized that it was probably time to go home. You turned to face Yunho but he was no wear to be found.
"Hey, have you seen-," you started before being interrupted by lots of laughter and clapping behind you.
Once you turned toward the commotion, you saw your husband dancing like a lunatic on the dance floor. You let out a sigh and watched him dance his heart out. It was a common occurrence for him to start dancing when he was wasted but it was never good.
Every time you told him that he danced when he was drunk, he never believed you. So you took the liberty to take out your phone and videotape him dancing.
Once he began to trip over his own feet you knew it was definitely time to take him home. You draped his arm over your shoulder and helped him walk out as the whole bar cheered for him and asked for one more performance.
As you drove him home he still continued to bob his head violently to the music playing and you couldn't help but laugh to yourself.

Yeosang - The Nonsense Texter
It was the first Christmas since you started dating Yeosang that you had to do it long distance. After your own Christmas celebrations, you got into bed and texted Yeosang. You had seen in his story that he had gone drinking with his group members that night.
You: yeosangie! how was your Christmas?
Yeosang: g
Yeosang: goo
You: what?
Yeosang: D u lov me?
You: um yes?
Yeosang: rely?
You: yes, are you drunk?
You laughed to yourself in your bed realizing that he was definitely drunk. It was very uncommon for Yeosang. He held his alcohol very well, you had only ever seen him drunk on occasion but you never took him for a drunken texter.
Yeosang: who i this?
You: It's me babe 😭❤️
Yeosang: what?
You: yeosangie?
Yeosang: ples stob it, only my girfrend calls me tha
You: i am your girlfriend...
Yeosang: o, hi baby
You chuckled to yourself at his texting. He barely made any sense. You took some screenshots just in case he tried to delete the messages out of embarrassment.
You: i'm going to let you sleep now, gn
Yeosang: who is thi?
You chuckled putting your phone away, getting ready for bed. You were so ready to tease him about it in the morning.

San - The flirt
Christmas was definitely interesting with San staying at your house. You asked him to be on his best behavior at home but your parents didn't really mind with playful manner.
It was your first time bringing a boyfriend home, especially for such an important holiday.
Your parents were ecstatic that you were bringing a boy home and took every chance to embarrass you. Whether it was your dad telling him about your failed attempts at dating in high school or your mom showing him your baby and puberty photos.
San teased you about your emo phase throughout Christmas Eve dinner and you swore to get your revenge once you went to his parents’ place for New Year's.
Christmas Day was always hectic at your house. You were always cooking dishes and making sure everyone looked good for photos.
That Christmas you would be the one to make dessert and you dragged San into your endeavors. The two of you finally agreed on making strawberry swirl cheesecake after much debating.
At your shared apartment you and San always cooked while drinking wine so you did just that. San had a bit too much to drink but he was having a good time at dinner.
But your father kept filling his wine glass and he felt bad saying no so he just kept drinking. San would usually just be all lovey-dovey with you when he was drunk so you wouldn’t mind your family seeing him wasted.
To your support, he put his arm around your mom’s shoulders and kept on trying to make advances. It was entertaining, to say the least, he didn’t do anything crazy but he had mistaken your mom for you.
The two of you did look alike but she was flattered at how young he thought she looked.
It took you shaking his shoulder and reminding you of your existence, for him to stop flirting with your literal mother.
Your dad thought it was cute and your family couldn’t stop laughing about it even the next day. Once they had informed San about it he was humiliated. You poked fun at him about it, giving him the karma he deserved for making fun of your emo era.
In the bed, he got what he deserved but you concluded that you couldn’t take your flirty drunk boyfriend anywhere.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mingi - The Walking Speaker
You and Mingi were ready for Christmas. There were gifts under the tree. All the shopping was done and the house was prepared to receive your friends and family for the holidays.
The two of you finally plopped down on your couch and popped open a bottle of wine to share. The two of you silently enjoyed each other’s presence cuddled on the couch.
Mingi didn’t usually drink alcohol. He had made an effort not to drink years ago but he occasionally drank with you and his closest friends from time to time.
He got drunk pretty quickly. He often talked about holding his alcohol well but once he drank a bit he was wasted.
You decided to put the bottle and join Mingi on the couch. You could decide on a Christmas movie to watch. You wanted to watch “Love Hard”(one of the best Christmas movies ever) and Mingi wanted to watch “Love Actually”(the worst Christmas ‘romance’ film to ever exist).
You decided to just let Mingi choose any movie but “Love Actually” and he chose to watch “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” The two of you were polar opposites when it came to romance films. You had the correct opinions and he had the wrong ones.
He liked, “The Notebook” and “Lala Land”(most overhyped romances) You loved, “It’s a Boy Girl Thing” and “Dirty Dancing”(best movies ever).
Halfway through the scene in the Grinch’s layer, Mingi yells, “Oh no, is he going steal Christmas?”
“Oh my god, you scared me,” you said placing a hand over your pounding heart.
"Sorry!" he shouted right in your ear laughing at your reaction.
“Oh Mingi, must you always be this loud?” you complained leaning your head against his shoulder.
“Jagiya, let’s play a game,” he suggested pausing the movie.
“Okay,” you said skeptically.
You knew exactly what game he was talking about and you let out an exaggerated sigh. Mingi’s favorite game to play when he was drunk was a game where you yell in the other person's face and see who does it louder.
So you spent the next minute yelling in each other's faces before you rested your head in his lap unable to contain your laughter.
“Okay that’s enough,” you chuckled.
The two of you continued the movie along with Mingi’s loud and unhinged reactions to the Grinch ruining Christmas for all the whos in Whoville.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wooyoung - The Gossip/Eavsdropper
You were having lunch with Wooyoung after a successful day of last-minute Christmas Eve shopping. "Feels so good to be done," you sighed after the two of you ordered your food.
"Finishing Christmas shopping should be a celebration in itself, so I ordered us a bottle," Wooyoung replied.
"Seriously? The plan wasn't to get day drunk," you joked, shaking your head at him.
"We won't get day drunk, I hold my liquor pretty well," he said.
"That's what you say every single time. Then I end up having to haul your ass into the car," you teased.
"Well not this time," he assured.
But then it was one glass. Then two, then one more.
You only had a bit because you knew you would be driving the two of you home. Wooyoung wasn't all that crazy when he was drunk he acted almost completely normal. Almost.
"Did you hear that?" he asked.
You shook your head about to ask him what he was talking about but he violently shushed you. He listened to something attentively for a minute before finally turning back to you.
"The two girls behind us are seeing the same guy," he whispered.
"No way," you gasped.
"I don't like to gossip but I think one of them is his wife and the other is the mistress," he said, leaving you completely gagged.
"And get this, the mistress is 15 years younger than him," he started.
"No," you said in denial.
"And they're both in on it, they're planning to share his money when the geezer dies," he continued.
"You gotta be kidding me," you denied as you sipped your mocktail.
"Because the two women are seeing each other, they're dating behind the guy's back," he finished.
Your mouth was hanging open, you were completely gagged and impressed at his eavesdropping skills.
"But I'm not gossiping," he said.
"Yes you are, you always do when you’re drunk," you teased, getting ready to leave.
"I am not drunk," he rebutted as he took your hand and slid it into his pocket to keep you warm.
You leaned your head on his shoulder before saying, "I love you,"
"Babe, I think I'm drunk," he replied.
You laughed at his very late realization and enjoyed your afternoon with him as he gossiped some more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jongho - The Liar
Christmas dinner with your boyfriend Jongho and his group members was a tradition that you always looked forward to. It was nice to see Jongho interact with his friends.
Even more fun to drink alcohol with all of them. You had never ever seen Jongho drunk, maybe a little tipsy but never drunk. The goal every year was to outdrink him but you always got wasted way before him and ended up having to go home early.
It was ironic how he was the youngest out of all of his group members and could still outdrink all of them. He was the oldest and the youngest in a way.
The two of you were running a little late but when you finally arrived you were greeted with smiles and hugs from everyone. All of you sat and exchanged gifts and got straight to partying.
Once everyone but Jongho(of course) was pretty much buzzed and all of you were tired of the drinking games you started talking about their latest comeback.
"The tour was so crazy, did you see how Wooyoung put the cake in Hongjoong's face?" Mingi chuckled.
"Yeah, I saw the video, it was hilarious," you laughed.
"Yeah, did you also see when we performed with Beyoncé?" Jongjo asked.
"What?! You guys met Beyoncé?" you asked, extremely shocked that you were never informed of this.
"Yeah we're working on a song with her don't tell anyone though," he revealed nonchalantly.
You looked around at his members in shock. They all nodded along holding in laughter and Mingi confirmed it was true with a snicker.
"What? Why are you guys laughing?" you asked cluelessly.
"He's tipsy," Yeosang said.
Jongho? Tipsy? Your Jongho, was tipsy?
"He lies when he's intoxicated," Yeosang explained.
You never thought you'd live to see the day he was drunk. You found it so cute that he couldn’t tell the truth when he was drunk either.
Sharing this moment with him was the best Christmas gift ever. Even though he still ended up having to carry you up the stairs because you had passed out.
