i am violently reminded I am ace when I watch a sitcom and a character is like "i haven't had sex in 3 whole months!!" And it's supposed to be some kind of hardship??

I hate how “sleeping with someone” means having sex with them because I want to literally sleep with someone and cuddle and feel comfy and safe without people thinking we had sex

God yeah it's so dumb. And it's like, some siblings sleep in the same bed together but most people don't think that's weird, why do they immediately take it sexually the moment it isn't with people who are related? :/

Sleeping together can be sexual sure, but it can also be romantic or platonic or anything else or nothing at all. Why is it always assumed sexually
