When I was younger I used to watch a DVD of Bedknobs and broomsticks(it's this kid movie from the 70's set during WW2), and never will I forgive Disney+ for changing the funny German lines which were translated in caption to "speaking German"

For the longest time I pronounced astigmatism wrong

Every time the optometrist would say it I thought he said "a stigmatism," so I would always tell people I had "a stigmatism."

Took me meeting someone else who had astigmatism and seeing them spell it to learn I'd been saying it wrong for years lol.

First chapter is done!(basically)

Finished the first chapter of current writing project, obviously not perfect yet but now that I got the words down I can move on to chapter two.

In honor of doing so, here's an example:

The pain was sudden and unbearable, rooting itself deep into skin and muscle, but thankfully missing any major veins. The feeling of blood seeping through the cracks in myself, travelling downward by pull off gravity and loudly dripping on the floor---pat... pat... pat---it was such an unbelievably foreign feeling that the pain shocked me out of action. Leaving me wheezing upon the table as I tried to breathe through that pain, pull through the stabbing, ignore the way my bloods falling sped faster and faster into a constant trickling. It took the machine voice calling again to snap me out of unhinged nervousness.

Sick.

They way my brother whines, bites, hits, swears, messes everything up. It makes me sick.

He's such a parasite, everyone must cook for him or he'll do it wrong, everyone must clean for him or he'll do it wrong, everyone must give him what he wants or he'll only complain. It makes me sick.

But cause you're older you have no choice but to go away, to shut up, to behave, to ignore, to be mature. As though he wasn't a teenager. As though I didn't have to be more mature to him when I was his age. It makes me sick.

And it's not that no one sees, understand, knows. But what happens? What gets done? What stops his behavior? ABA hasn't been helping, neither has been told to behave, he'll keep getting away with it. It makes me sick.

The way my brother runs away, and I give chase, I turn negotiator and peace maker within the thick of woods. It makes me sick.

Will one day come a day when I don't give chase? Yes?

That makes me sicker.

First week of Soc 101 has been so boring, most interesting thing I have to say about it is that my note taking is a little better.
