Allow me to save you some time

They want a one to one, copy and paste, unoriginal piece of bullshit.

So I guess I'm making another post about the things I want from a Never Ending Sorry adaptation, but will sadly never get

Once again, we need to return to the original name of Fantastica. They changed the name when making it the first time to make it sound more "Disney" and that's dumb. You can't go changing the name of a stories world, that would be like renaming Middle-Earth

Once again, we can not see The Nothing in the new adaptation. It is not a black and imposing storm. Neither is it accompanied by one. It is absence, it is nothing, and looking upon it gives you a sense of blindness

A new one, I think doing a Never Ending Story movie like a Terry Pratchett miniseries would be immensely fun. Like The Color of Magic or The Hogfather. I just think it would be fun, and would help explain aspects of the story that had to get dropped in the previous adaptation

In case it was not already clear. The adaptation can not be like the original Disney movie, or like any of its sequels. It needs to be more like the original book. I'm not the most sure how that can happen, maybe it should be a show(a real show with 24 episodes) instead of a movie, but it needs to happen

Tried out Scribophile, maybe it's just cause of my experience with Critique Circle but I didn't like it. Wasn't a fan of the format

Might just be back to the old fashion way. Never share things and never improve cause you don't know what you're doing wrong. Only Jo gets to read things, who will love whatever I write regardless of whether or not it's as the as they say

Starting to enjoy Critique Circle a lot less now that I'm getting critiqued, a lot of these people are assholes

I'm pretty blunt, which, comes off as mean sometimes when not intended, but I always tried to help the people I'm critiquing tell the story they wanted to tell

I never told them to remove entire paragraphs cause I didn't like them

I never told them the way they wanted to tell the story was too passive or too metaphoric

I never told I said not to do something because it's been done before, as though everything hasn't before

I never compared other people to giant authors like Steven King and was disappointed when they weren't as good

And I never told people their stories weren't good because they weren't as good as something by Steven King

This is a place where writers can help out other writers. It's not a place where retired assholes trash your for a thousand words, then decide they can't even be bothered to finish it

So for those of you who haven't read the book, but have seen the movie, it's important for me that you understand I, Robot(at least the book) isn't a trash piece of science fiction about an AI overthrow. The book is an oftenly beautiful, funny, and relatable collection of nine short stories on humanity. I extremely recommend it

So For Those Of You Who Haven't Read The Book, But Have Seen The Movie, It's Important For Me That You

"It's too vague"

Congratulations idiot, that's the point.

I'm describing events that defy physics, figures of another reality, and the effects of spaghettification on a face.

Just for this I'm going to make it more vague.

If I have to describe every detail of Mr. Ranges nightmarish fever dream in a boring fashing, and explain every symbolistic choice, just don't read the story
