Tbh, Im Holding Out Hope For Season 4 - Like I Think Id Prefer It Really Pacing-wise So They Dont Cram
Tbh, I’m holding out hope for season 4 - like I think I’d prefer it really pacing-wise so they don’t cram everything they’ve set up and all the payoff into this one finale.
Either way, I’m extremely excited and tbh, trust the wwdits creators enough to not just fuck with us and at least acknowledge the nandermo moments in season 4, if not before :)
Babes. I love u all very much. But it’s pretty clear they’re fucking with us at this point. I still love this show but I’ve definitely given up on the idea of nandermo lol

these are all i can think about on the spot. but. yeah.
I saw that production of Richard III! It was so so good - even before I really understood what was going on, and hey, now I’m studying it for A Level!
Some favourite staging moments in productions of Shakespeare plays:
Clarence actually getting drowned in a barrel of wine on stage in Richard III; it was a small barrel, they stuck his head into it as he struggled, pulled him out for an instant as he gasped for air and screamed, his head was wet and sopping, his face all red
Macbeth clutching his empty hands to hold an imaginary child, casting a clawed shadow on the wall
Ophelia ripping out hanks of her hair to give to people during her ‘flowers’ scene (obviously fake hair in real life)
Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing hiding from Claudio, Leonato and Don Pedro, taking a swig from a can of beer that happened to be full of cigarette butts and spit-taking it all over Don Pedro and Leonato
who then awkwardly pretend to check if it’s raining
Angelo in Measure for Measure taking off a bloody cilice belt from around his thigh while saying ‘Blood, thou art blood’
Also a really good bit where Angelo shows up in a two way mirror later on when the Duke’s speaking to himself and cursing him; the Duke turns to point at the mirror and there’s Angelo, in the chain of office, pointing back, accusing the Duke as much as the Duke does to him
The moment in Julius Caesar where Brutus asks his servant Strato - who’s been sitting with his back to the audience and wearing a hat with a wide brim - to help him commit suicide; Strato stands while taking off his hat to reveal that he’s played by Caesar’s actor
(a collective gasp went around the theatre; really lent a whole new meaning to ‘Caesar, now be still. I killed not thee with half so good a will’)
After a frantic chase scene in The Comedy of Errors which ends with all the cast collapsed across the stage in exhaustion and the scenery itself falling to bits…a pair of underpants falls from the ceiling, and Dromio of Ephesus (who’d tried in vain to retrieve them at the start of the play) crawls over several other characters, seizes them and screams in triumph
We are all but humble Sims- just starting a hobby with only the option of ‘short events’ at the outset- yet we will level up and unlock the ability to do ‘long events’ of our chosen hobby in order to get exponentially better each time :)
It’s okay to start where you are.
If you’re trying to get in shape, but you feel like you can’t do much more than power walk for twenty minutes, then do it. Months from now, you’ll have progressed far beyond that. But it starts somewhere. The goal is to get healthier, not to “prove” or compare yourself to others.
If you’ve never cooked anything in your life, it’s okay to start with making yourself a grilled cheese sandwich. Cooking — much like everything else in this life — is something you will learn and perfect through trial and error. Accidentally burned one side of your sandwich? Great! Now you know for next time that it doesn’t take that long to cook. And once you’ve perfected your grilled cheese, it’s okay to be proud of it. Because you’re learning. And now you can move on to another food and build on what you already know. It’s step by step.
If you’re trying to get into the habit of reading, it’s okay to set small goals in order to discipline yourself into the act of reading. You don’t have to come out the gates as an avid reader. It’s okay to only read five pages a night. At least you’re reading.
These are just a few examples. But things take time. Things take knowledge and growth. It’s a process. Start where you are and build from there. Self improvement is not something to be ashamed of just because someone else might already be “better” at it
the difference between the marlowe faustus and the goethe faust is that in the marlowe version mephistopheles shows up like ‘i’m a repressed gay man with magic powers and a complicated soul who laments the fact that he fell from heaven never to be loved again’ and in the goethe version he shows up like ‘god is a moron and i’m here to FUCK’
