hmmm deaged duke thomas REFUSING to let batman nightwing or red hood near him because when duke was a kid batman had just lost robin and was super violent on the streets, nightwing was in blud so duke wouldnt really know him and red hood has guns??? what??

and duke (this is the kid who reads people flawlessly and also trained to beat the riddler from an young age) is evading capture at every turn. his powers are erratic and hes starting to get scared, the manor will not let him out, and where are his parents-

when suddenly there he is. duke thomas’s robin, and his most trusted protector, tim drake.

just more of duke thomas with the tropes the other brothers get hit with all the time, and also more of tim being dukes robin please!!!

Batman: under the red hood au with time, where time comes in during the final confrontation and kills the joker because he knows Batman won't do it, he knows Dick won't do it, he knows Alfred would but he respects Bruce too much. He just has seen how much it has weighed on Bruce, especially since they realized Red Hood was Jason, and how much Jason needed this to happen in order for there to be some kind of progress and healing, so he's like, "hey, that's what I'm here for, solving problems."

Bruce and Jason arguing and hearing a choking noise from the side, and they look over and Tim's just there, holding a batarang that he just used to slit the joker's throat.

That could be so funny or so angsty or both tbh

Fear Gas hc: Tim edition

Tim has a ton of fears and horrific memories that the fear gas can craft into nauseating tales of terror. He's seen them all: his parents dying, his friends dying, Tim becoming what he's fought against, Ra's being creepy, falling from the dinosaur, that godsdamned desert, etc.

What's the one fear that absolutely grips Tim until he's screaming, crying, and throwing up?

Jason dying again.

When the family found out about how Jason's second death petrifies Tim, they asked why Jason specifically. Tim shakily smiled and told them that Jason's first death was horrific and he never wants that to happen again. The family takes that answer. They ensure Jason is always available for Tim when he gets hit with the toxin. The only way for Tim to calm down, even after receiving the antidote, is for him to feel Jason's heartbeat.

Tim lied, though. Yes, seeing any of his siblings dying is horrific and one of his fears. Jason, though? That fear is born out of selfish necessity.

When Jason died the first time, Tim was the only one who was able to get through to Bruce. The teen loved his Robin run, but it was also extremely traumatic.

If Jason dies again and Bruce needs to be put back together, Tim would do it. Of course he would. He loves Bruce, his father. He would assist his dad and family without hesitation.

The process would kill him.

Tim fears Jason dying because he knows it would destroy his family and kill Tim as well.
