I know I've been calling my past 6 months of straight binging "recovering" and I'm still trying to break the cycle, but I guess it did me some good. My resting heart rate in July 2023 was 54 bpm, so I guess me improving that was a pro??

Holy shit. My parents made me go out to lunch at Friendly's and I got the Tuna Roll and fries, and I only intended on eating half, but I ate all of it. In front of 3 other people. And I'm the only one that finished my whole meal. THAT IS SO FUCKING EMBARRASSING!! And then my dad said "oh, I guess you liked your tuna roll. I didn't even see you eat it." Yeah. It's called scarfing food down cause you're in the middle of a binge.

Why does noone talk about how frustrating it is to have a somewhat rich family (not really rich, but my stepmom is a therapist and easily drops $300 every time we go to a store). So everytime I have a low cal dinner planned in my head, she wants us to go out to dinner at some restaurant that I know they lather their food in pounds of oil. Luckily I convinced her that we should go to Olive Garden, and they have low cal soup, but I'm still super scared I'm gonna binge on their super delicious bread sticks.
