My parents know I write. They haven't read anything and barely know anything about my characters, since they're tolerant of the LGBTQIA+ community, but I'd be surprised if they would read a book with an all queer cast (which all my stories are, even if their identity isn't explicitly stated) They're supportive though, and encourage me to write, even if it's not in the medium I want to

for writers: do your family (specifically parents) know about your writing & if so are they supportive??

this question is mainly targeted at teenage or young writers / writers living with their parents but is also more general! please let me know as I’m really curious to find out and know whether or not I’m an anomaly. also if your family / friends are supportive of your writing or not!

Aromanticism is not an identity underneath asexuality. Aro people can ALSO be ace. Ace people can ALSO be aro. But not all aro people are ace, and not all ace people are aro. You can experience no romantic attraction but experience sexual attraction.
