“Captain.”
Jack’s head shot up, and for a moment you could see that he was happy to see him. They were really good friends after all. But just as the line of his mouth was about to curve into a smile, the expression completely disappeared off his face, as if he caught himself doing something he shouldn’t do.
“Doctor,” he said with firm voice.
This time though, it wasn’t like the reunion they had at the end of the universe, neither of them moved in for a hug.
