Oooh man, I finally assembled two (TWO!) items of furniture I designed! The shelves I cut this last Monday. The lamp pieces have been sitting in a box since before Christmas.

I took progress photos of the assembly of both of these, and I’ll post them with an in-depth write-up later. But for now, enjoy this final photo!

One point for everything you can identify on the shelves.

Finally Decided To List Anodized Titanium As Available. Its Probably The Metal I Find Most Beautiful
Finally Decided To List Anodized Titanium As Available. Its Probably The Metal I Find Most Beautiful

Finally decided to list anodized titanium as available. It’s probably the metal I find most beautiful out of everything I’ve worked with. The color comes from an oxide layer on the surface, where the layer’s thickness determines the wavelength of light that can get through it. Similar to how the colors of a soap bubble or oil film come about.

Currently this green is the only color I have stock of. (My last material order, I got green and a bag of mixed scales.) Next time I’m ordering more materials I’ll definitely get another couple of colors.

You can get one over on my Etsy page!

Photos Of My Vending Booth At The Convention I Was At This Last Weekend. The Convention Was Intercon,

Photos of my vending booth at the convention I was at this last weekend. The convention was Intercon, a LARPing convention I’ve been going to for a few years now. It’s a fairly quiet convention as far as selling goes, since people are mostly there to play LARPs. Very different feeling from a typical fandom convention. But I always sell a decent amount of costume parts.

Sadly I was unable to get onto a laser cutter in the time leading up to the convention, due to things being down for maintenance. So I couldn’t restock masks, which made me feel bad. Though I’d forgotten just how many medium-to-large sized things I had stashed away, so it turned out I easily filled the table.

I think one of the cutters is back online now, so I should be able to make some orders people’d made through Etsy last week. I’m thinking about new designs to make again, so that feels good. Weather and lighting permitting, I’ll probably get some photos of some small things to post to Etsy in the next week. And I’m hoping to open for dragon tail commission requests soon, so keep your eyes open for that.

A Tribal Filigree Mask I Designed Last Year Sometime But Hadnt Gotten Photos Of! I Like The Relative

A tribal filigree mask I designed last year sometime but hadn’t gotten photos of! I like the relative scale between the size of the mask and the swirling slashes of holes cut into it. I’m just generally fond of designs where the primary component is the negative space.

So yeah. This design wasn’t specifically trying to depict anything in particular, it’s more just emulating the sort of tribal tattoo aesthetic that you see floating around all the time. The curling projections on the edges are kind of flame-like, or maybe they’re horns.

Whenever I’m taking photos I always joke around with my friends models. Otherwise, if you just put a camera in someone’s face, they end up just looking uncomfortable. But sometimes I like the silly photos more than the “good” ones.

I just posted this design up for sale on my Etsy shop, with the more “professional” photos.

Some facts about Hillary Clinton

- In one of her FOIA’d emails, she refers to Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich as “mittens” and “grinch”

- in another, she asked an aide to remind her to bring more teacups from home

- and also please tell her what time parks and rec is on.

- She calls some of her most loyal supporters her “sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits”

- She nicknamed her secret service van the Scooby Van

everyone’s like “oh she’s a robot” no she’s a GIANT DORK please vote for Madame Dork in Chief 2016

Hello, I am wondering if you could do a Dutch Angel Dragon tail and how much would it cost

You’d have to be more specific about what exactly you’re thinking of. If it’s just a matter of a specific pattern of scales on the tail, it wouldn’t affect the price. If you wanted more complicated details like big spine spikes or a fluffy tail tip, we’d have to have a non-anonymous conversation to figure out how your desires compared to my capabilities.
