I’m updating the design of my simple eyeglasses-compatible mask. For the original version (last photo), my goal had been approximately “as minimal as possible,” and I’d left a gap along the bottom where the nose goes. But while I kinda liked how that looked, it made it hard to form to shape reliably. The projecting bits never wanted to stay symmetric, and it took more tweaking than was reasonable.

So I connected across the middle, and expanded the vertical opening to give more space for the glasses to rest on the nose. It took a few iterations on proportion, but I think I’m happy with it now. It’s available over on my Etsy store, and I’ll update that listing with more photos as I make more copies of the mask.

Wow, had a couple busy months, but I’m finally catching up with life and starting to sort through the 700 product photos I took nearly 2 months ago.

To start out, here’s a new color! Got some gold leather stain, and tried it out on a codpiece. This design’s been on my store for a while, but people had only ever asked for red on black (the first color combo I did with it). I decided to mix it up a bit.

You know what I could have done without today? Tumblr exploding. Oh well.

I went through all my posts and hit the “this is not porn” button. Some of the things that got flagged weren’t too surprising. Most of my Empowered Male Armor posts for Magic Meat March were flagged as adult, of course, even though as far as I can tell they don’t violate Tumblr’s rules. (They do show my nipples, and though I always thought my nipples were male-presenting, I’ll concede that gender is a confusing mess so I’ll forgive the error.) Various kink-related things (like codpieces, hoods, those fun pet rocks) flagged regardless of whether there were even people shown, so I’m assuming they blanket flagged a number of tags.

But then there were a bunch of posts that totally confused whatever machine-learning system they’re using. For some of them my guess is it mistook the birch plywood I use as a background for naked skin. Other stuff, I have no idea. 

I’ll have a bit more to say but ugh Discourse is Exhausting.

It's been a long time since anyone bought a necklace from me, but recently I've had a few people ask for collars for D/s and pup play stuff. So I was brushing up on good weaves for that. Full-Persian weave, in 2 ring sizes, one that works, one that's...way too stiff. The stiff one is stainless steel, the flexible one is bright aluminum.

I’ll probably post the reasonable one up on my Etsy soon in stainless steel. If there happens to be a big interest in it I may stock anodized aluminum colors in those ring sizes, but we’ll see.
